Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Do Africans Love America So Much? by cashmentor(m): 9:21pm On Dec 28, 2012
igbo2011: why?
because those who built the Foundations of America, set it upon the Doctrines of God.... Plus, America is a Prophesy in the scripture (though not Mentioned by Name), but surely a Nation that was spoken of, to spring up during the times of Great Trials and Challenges! America is both The Good, The Bad and The Very, Very Urgly!
Politics / Re: “jonathan Is Going Down Everyday, Obasanjo Is Angry” – Asari Dokubo by cashmentor(m): 5:40pm On Dec 28, 2012
No, OBJ and Annenih are not birds of the same Feather.... Some birds can fly while others can't, won't and never will.
OBJ and the voice of Nigerians (southern), Were instrumental in the coming in of GEJ into Power; not Annenih....
There's a Chinese Proverb that says "To know the Road Ahead, Ask those coming Back" OBJ fits that role perfectly!
@post, i don't care if Asari is seeking for Recognition, Egunje, or Contracts.... All i know is that, he's spoken well... And if i were you GEJ, i'd listen to My Brothers coz they wish you Well....
PointB: So in Dokubo's warped mind, Anenih is a liability while Obj is an asset to GEJ. tongue tongue tongue

NEWSFLASH:

Both Obj and Anenih are birds of a feather. They are same of same, period! Asari should hustle for himself not for Obj.

As for Nigerians, as far as we continue spending close a a trillion Naira subsiding fuel consumption, real development with continue to be far and few in between!

This is what killed Cameroun football.... Team Fighting, Disrespect, Showing Off Who's Who.....
Enough of this Issue, well said Yobo, but you didn't have to say anything since your Coach have spoken for You and the Team..... You guys should be thinking of how to earn your Respect back in Africa; so that everyone can stop calling you Chickens!

Osaze Digged his own Grave! You don't survive by attacking your Captain, employers, Bosses, Old Pals, Old Bosses, Country etc..... That is the best way to a swift down fall. You survive by being Loyal, Diplomatic and Standing for the truth (in a Win/Win position, with a Good number of Hands). No man ever Fought and won Wars Alone......
Everyone loved this dude, but right now, he's Home Alone, left Alone and Fading Away his past Glory with his Own Mouth!

Why not just skip the thread if you can't do what the thread is all about? if you want to whine, kindly do that on the "provisional list thread".
Thank you
whine? Oooops! A passionate SE fan i see......
So when did making a point and contributing to a Thread became politicize here on Nairaland as long as one kept to the topic?
Anyway, i reserve my comments till i see the Final 23 Man Team......
Sports / Re: Who Should Make Your 23 Man List For The Nations Cup? by cashmentor(m): 1:48pm On Dec 25, 2012
honeric01: My first 11 should be

Austin Ejide
Solomon kwanbe Efe Ambrose Joseph yobo Elderson Echiejile

Ahmed Musa Mikel Obi Reuben Gabriel Nosa Igiebor

Victor Moses/Brown Ideye Ikechukwu Uche/Bright Dike

For the double strikers, it all depends on how they perform during build up training.

i'm not against these eagles though.... Infact, i'm a die hard SE Fan, but, i don't and never trusted Keshi.... So i'll be wasting my time here naming a team for a Coach that already knows his ist Eleven....
Anyway i'll just name players i fell don't deserve to be in the 23 man team!
Dike- don't deserve it at all.... Based on current form, Martins deserve that shirt.. Based on Commitment, martins is way ontop.
Rabiu Ibrahim: i love that dude like a brother from another Mother, but He's far from fitness and i think Aluko ought to have his place.....

honeric01: Here goes my 23 man list:

Goalkeepers: Austin Ejide, Vincent Enyeama. (we do not need more than 2 goal keepers)

Defenders: Elderson Echiejile; Joseph Yobo ; Efe Ambrose; Solomon Kwambe ; Danny Shittu; Kenneth Omeruo ; Godfrey Oboabona ( we have issues with the defence so i would like to see 7 defenders incase we need drastic changes.)

Midfielders: Mikel Obi; Nosa Igiebor; Ogenyi Onazi; Raheem Lawal; Obiora Nwankwo; Fegor Ogude; Reuben Gabriel. (some of the attackers can join as midfielders too so no too much wahala here.)

Forwards: Ahmed Musa; Brown Ideye; Victor Moses; Uche Kalu; Bright Dike; Ikechukwu Uche; Ejike Uzoenyi. (Shola should never be on the team if truly we are looking at building a team for the future.)
That your team? They taste like Chicken.

Good News for Nollywood though, nice way to repackage and rebrand.... Everyone' s visiting Nigeria (Lagos) these days. Though it's a purely Biz affair, lotta kudos should go to Lagos, kudos to those packaging the events (increasing our Tourism potentials)....... These guys will tell good things about Nigeria, making others Craving to come taste for themselves.... Not bad for a Boko Ravaged Republic!

so if Keshi is a tribalist, what tribe is he advocating for?

There is a good mix of footballers performing without prejudice on the list.

well you asked for it.... IGBOs? Just go through it again, no need for ranting.

Take a look at that list and see for yourself! Some good inclusion and exclusions though, but Keshi isn't fit for a Coach!

Politics / Re: Did The British Rulers Leave Too Early??? by cashmentor(m): 5:57pm On Nov 23, 2012
The people who Built South Africa (the White Settlers) saw SA as their Own land, they Fought with the British, shed Blood, and used the blacks to Build SA.... They never realy saw SA as a place they'll leave.. To them, SA was their Home.... After the Discovery of Diamond and Gold, the British took over from the White settlers and that was when the Building of SA really started! The Money gotten from their Resources was used to Develop SA!
Down here in Nigeria, the British had all the ownership, no Serious Challenge or Fightback whatsoever from Nigerians.... They Did just as ROSSIKE said, took all our Resources to build their own Country!
My point is, they left too soon O, they left too early O, it would have still remain the same thing, unlike SA, where the White Settlers were fighting for what they called their new Home!

I Feel and weep for most Northerners whenever i think about the way they're been sent to their early graves either with Okada's, Bombs, BokoHaram etc...these guys are Suffering! Yet their Governor are Cruising Jets.... I'm not saying the Southern Govs aren't Corrupt, but anyone wise enough can atleast see how LITTLE they (Southern Governors) have tried to improve the lives of their people, by Creating infrastructures and opening room for people to Create Jobs rather than enslaving their people with all kinds of funny scheme! I don't have anything against the North, but my point is, the Arewa, with all its Thieves of Bagdad shouldn't be the Group saying this.... All the Northern Governors Deserve to Die for All the Suffering they've Caused on their People!

Mark 10:46-52

The Blind Begger, Bartimaeus....
Lesson:
1. "master let me see again"

Jesus can still restore all your lost Glory, wealth, Health, Fame, in short anything.
2: but before He restores to you all your Cravings, you Must ASK, only then can he ACT.. He wants us to make use of our Mouths and Faith, even though God knows u're suffering and in Need of great Help, support, deliverance or Restoration, You Must Speak it with your Mouth..
3: when you're trying to Restore or Achieve anything, people will scold you, try to silence you just like they did the Blind Man... But "he Only Shouted all the Loudest". Then Jesus STOPED! Mark that word, Jesus Stoped and called Him only after he Shouted Lorder.
4: when you refuse to allow the scoldings and nay sayings of people hinder your jorney, these same people will sing your Praise and tell the world your story.... The same people who asked the blind man to be mute, were the same people who said, "Courage, Get up, He is Calling you"..
Don't give up on your struggles!
5: the Blind Man had his Sight Restored, why? Because he Had Faith and no amount of the scoldings or setbacks could stop him from claiming his Blessing, he knew that was his Only opportunity, hence, he grabbed it with both hands.....

Know when your Opportunities are staring at you in the Face!

Career / Re: How Do You Handle Envy From Co-workers Or Colleagues? by cashmentor(m): 8:36pm On Oct 25, 2012
Billyonaire: Envy is often always a result of inferiority complex. It means the target of the envy is or have special uncommon 'something' that sets him/her apart from the rest on the block. My advise is, get higher cycle of friendship beyond the scale of the envious cliche and keep surprising the envious with your prowess.
frankly, i think i kinda find something to agree with u on: Spot On!
Career / Re: How Do You Handle Envy From Co-workers Or Colleagues? by cashmentor(m): 8:33pm On Oct 25, 2012
When you're Destined or u are the best in what u do, people will envy u.. Even when you're dead broke, people will still gang up against u, after all, even the mad man on the street is still envied by some (funny buh true).... Jesus, Isaac, Joseph, Jacob, David, Moses, Abel, Steven etc.. were all envied, so count yourself lucky to be envied.. It's part of Life, it makes u hungrier to excel higher..
And pls- whatever u do, never ever try to please anyone, u'll end up a failure in that path.. Be wise!
