EducationRe: Cheapest Universities And Polytechnics In Nigeria by cassyrooy(m): 5:48pm On Dec 18, 2016
fratermathy:
Stop over rating UI. It is still plagued with the problems all Nigerian universities have: poor infrastructure, unmotivated lecturers, too many students, lack of innovation and research, etc.

It was only opportuned to be the oldest University in Nigeria and thus, many of the elites, Professors and first generation graduates of today went there.

In the presence of a graduate of University of Ghana here, UI graduates are like poly graduates.

Don't act like a local champion. Be humble!
When you learn how to apply 'context' to a discourse please quote me again.

For now, I remain "local champion".

Try University of Ibadan
Its when most don't have info or know they postulate high fees for UI, for an institution ranked as number 1 in Nigeria to be this low in tuition, it means your money is judiciously spent.

@OP, look for quality education and not certification of completion of a course degree.

The M.Sc guy above, sorry to reel you in but you acted as someone devoid of the UI gene(poor character and judgment), probably you didn't get your first degree from The First and The Best.

FamilyRe: Why Single Ladies Are More Than Single Guys by cassyrooy(m): 10:49pm On Dec 15, 2016
beacon02:
Recently I've been hearing people complaining over the ratio of single ladies to single guys. Most arrived at the conclusion that it is because girls are given birth to more than the boys but I would like to disagree with such stance.
The last time I made research on male ratio female birth rate, I dscovered that boys are more birthed than girls. Only in a few countries like Norway will you see it the other way round. Even during the last annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the number of the children birthed during the program was announced and it was 5:4 boys to girls respectively.

Now here is the statistic behind your illusion...

Given that 50 boys and 50 girls are birthed today. In the next 30 years, there is a high probability that the number of boys would have reduced to 35 or less while the number of girls to 43 or more.
The reason behind this is quite natural as men are more adventurous than women. That causes the rate of mortality to be high in men as they grow older.
Here are the factors that cause high rate of mortality among men:
...Nature of job... Jobs like factory work are dangerous in many ways and it has claimed the lives of many men at their youthful age. Also, transportation is another risky job. Men majorly are the drivers of vehicles and motorcycles.

...Thuggery and Cultism... Without much explanation, I believe you know the danger it has imposed on our society.

... Military... Eventhough women also do join millitary, you can hardly see them at the war front. Ethiopia was recently ravaged by war which caused a serious reduction in men's population. The government have to force the remaining few men to marry at least 2 wives.
Some other factors are also responsible.

Now, by the time they get to their late 20s, men would have reduced in population compared to women.
So I believe this article will be helpful for you when next you are thinking why women seems to be more than men.
Have a wonderful day.

hi guys, been long i came on here, registration has closed, be patient as UI will go through every application before releasing the merit list.

One thing is certain, UI will be very transparent in their admission exercise.

Fuckthemod, you don't have to sound it any louder, but no one abandoned you guys, its only a matter of time that we come online. Hope Bhuumhite cleared your question.

I wish you guys luck.

You can reach me via call/text for now. My phone screen is bad, when i fix it, y'all will get my little contributions.

Hmm! As much as I feel for them for not getting paid, can't they just do it for the love of the country. They can complain later. It is not like they are not all rich murrafuckers to start with. Also, didn't Mikel contribute a couple of millions to the upkeep of the team?
When the son starts undertaking the responsibilities of the father, there tends to be disrespect from the household, so to reclaim the lost respect, the father must man up to his responsibilities without excuses.

these greedy boys need to be slapped. they are all rich. spend your own money. after-all you are there for your own glory and to get european clubs to see you shine. ungrateful fools. in fact you have to pay nigeria to represent us in the olympics because we know you are there for your own glory. money grabbers.
Then our politicians needs to pay us too for holding political positions as it will justify their awarding of contracts to their kinfolks, and political appointments that reflects greed and irrational, they've money too.

EducationRe: Types Of Friends In The University by cassyrooy(m): 12:07pm On Aug 12, 2016
TDB Folks

1. Book TDB - these ones read from 7pm to 5am everyday, they practically combine different textbooks, materials and rarely do other things like watch football, spending time on social media except they wanna frolick on posts. these ones na dem walking encyclopedias, libraries etc.

2. Movie TDB - these ones are update with every movie, The Originals, Banshees, Suits, and have large collections of Wi-Fi password in their school, and every network cheat na wetin dey know pass.

3. Gaming TDB - these ones live their happiest days in school in the night, from FIFA16 Olympics, God of Wars. My good roommate falls into this category, his mom even asked him to forget 'Game of Thrones' now he's facing his 'Throne of Games.

4. Prayer Warriors - these sets after facing the day and it physical aspects, finishes it off in the night in the spiritual realm. They commit their future tests into God's hand, here i have lotta good friends, to the girls that invite me to their fellowship to the guys, who after fellowship is mandated to see off(escort) their female counterparts to their various hall of residence. Cos of this an old friend, has earned for himself the tag of Stan 'Walker'.

2. The Foodie Friends

These friends don't know the road to your room/house, neither do they have your contacts unless they're hungry or they see you returning from the market. Their greetings usually go, "Guy, how far? Chow dey?" Or "Babe, you cook today? Hope say my mouth dey". They are usually responsible for your provisions finishing before mid-semester

Your reaction whenever these guys knock at your door and you're eating
These sets dealt with me last semester, but next semester we gon' see about that.

If they continue to tour these boys like this, then meaningful sponsorship and investments will be the beginning of a substantial and sustainable footballing sector in Nigeria.

LMC is not controlled by NFF, wish NFF could not be controlled in same way. Under LMC, NPFL got $36m for only broadcast sponsorship, credits to those brains that put all these together.

What i just read here is inspiring but the hurdles put forward is a bit high.

To really access these loans, banks want to double these loans in collateral valuation and all.

Anyways, it has been helpful reading all these posts.
