A Kenyan girl identified as Mhiz Princess Ella who lives in Lagos, Nigeria - has revealed the birthday present she got from her father which reportedly has its license. According to the young lady, her father bought it for her for protection as she "promised" to use it against Nigerian men.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is much closer to securing the services of Chelsea FC of England forward Tammy Abraham to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria, according to NFF President Amaju Pinnick. Pinnick hinted after Wednesday’s meeting with the tall striker, who has represented England at junior level but is eligible to wear the green-white-green for the Super Eagles having never played for the Three Lions.

“Most recently, there was a meeting with Tammy, which Tammy’s agent, Neil Fewills also attended. It was a useful meeting, and I can say the talks are at an appreciable level now and all is looking good,” Pinnick told thenff.com.

“Tammy is like a son to me, because his father was my childhood friend. I believe he is a good prospect for the Super Eagles and the effort is well worth it.”

Full name Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham, Tammy scored 23 goals for Bristol City last season on loan from Chelsea FC, and is presently playing for Swansea City in the English Premiership, again on loan from Chelsea. He has scored a goal for Swansea City this season.

A distraught woman has accused the Yaounde University Hospital in Cameroon of stealing her baby. According to the lady, she gave birth to a premature baby about 3 months and the baby was put in an incubator at the hospital. She visited the hospital this morning only to be told that her baby had died and was in the mortuary..

She said she went to the morgue and could not recognized her baby and she is demanding that CHU should produce her baby... Here are pictures of what happened.

The landslide destruction is so devastating that pedestrian movements is rendered an impossibility. Crops and economic activities are rendered impossible with a story of doom and helpless defining the people...

In a telephone conversation with Hon Cletus Obun, the leading political leader of the area calls for a quick intervention of NDDC and the APC led government to stop the flood that destroyed the only existing bridge making pedestrian and economic activities impossible.

New report has it that the police inspector who accidentally shot 2 persons dead on Sunday during a child dedication have been arrested by the disciplinary unit of the Nigerian Police Force Zone B, Warri, he would be arraigned this morning for trial at Asaba, Delta state capital, according to reports.

It will be recalled that inspector Samuel Imana and his team was hired as escort to the yahoo boys who attended a child dedication, trouble was said to have started when the boys began to spray and the police inspector decided as usual to release some gun shot on the air but unfortunately the bullets hit 3 persons, 2 were reported dead, while the last is still in coma.

Here are graphic photos of victims injured after suicide bombers struck in Meshimari, a village in Konduga local government of Borno state - where at least 12 people were killed and others injured 27. The bombers reportedly sneaked into a place close to the residence of the district head of the village before striking.

The Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) took those injured to the state’s specialist hospital for treatment.

Bello Danbatta, spokesman of the civilian joint task force (JTF), also spoke on the attack.

“The bombers always target a large number of crowd in the area,” he said.

The Chief of army staff (COAS) General. Tukur Yusuf Buratai is right now in Ebonyi state to brief the state of the operation python dance II. He said that the operation is purely to maintain internal security and it will abide by the constitutional civility and obedience to the rule of law.

According to the coas the exercise had commenced two days ago in the south eastern region. That it covers the entire south eastern states.

He however assured the masses to go about their business law abiding and entertain no fear.

Received on behalf of the governor by the acting governor the deputy Dr. Eric Kelechi Igwe requested from the army that the state would appreciate that her citizens is not molested in any form since this state is reputable peaceful state.

The Chief of army staff assured him of orderly conduct by his men.

27 members of the Rivers State contingent to the just concluded sports festival in Ilorin, Kwara state - were involved in a ghastly motor accident at Emohua on their way back last night. According to reports, the accident was caused as a result of over speeding.

The athletes were travelling to Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital in a chartered commercial bus... The bus reportedly rammed into a stationary trailer, which was abandoned along the Emohua road. Being that they were in a convoy, a second bus also rammed into the first one that rammed into the trailer.

Several athletes got injured including Bright Emmanuel (gold medal winner in cycling) Victor Abraham (Weight lifter) Stella Kingsley (weight lifter who won two silver medals and one bronze) kung fu coach- Eleyi Sinclair elder Alalibo Samuel - Secretary Kung fu Association RS, Sgt Momoh Rahim, team Rivers security personnel whose left leg could be amputated as well as the team nurse, Israel Owegwem.

A farmer and father of two children is lucky to be alive after being hit by a gas canister fired by security operatives following the chaos in Aba, Abia state. The man who was hit by the canister near his chest region - was left seriously injured. The victim has been taken to a hospital by residents for him to be treated.

Multiple online reports coming in from Aba, Abia state - have it that soldiers are currently dispersing rioting members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB with live bullets and also arrows. According to an eyewitness, Ikemefula Nobart who has been giving live updates from the situation at hand, the military men shot arrows at citizens in order to disperse the surging crowd.

Meanwhile, a tailor popularly known as Imo and another man were allegedly gunned down by bullets fired by the security operatives during the chaos along market road in Aba, Abia state capital.
