There was a period this year I lost interest in a lot of things. For like 2 months, I was in a perpetual sad state. Couldn't watch a movie past 20 minutes, couldn't read a book past the first 3 pages, got tired of my online classes, lost interest in a skill I was learning. At some point, nairaland got boring for me as well (energy to debate with redpillers left me. Lol). I would sneak off to Instagram to go and binge watch comedy skits. Spent lots of data/money in the process.

One night, I just broke down and cried. Was literally begging God to not let me sink. I didn't want to think/accept that it might be depression.

But in November, I decided to retry a few things I had put on hold and somehow, picked up on doing more things. I haven't exactly gotten back to how I was before but it's way better than it was in those bleak days.

there are better days ahead.. never give up.

watching football... hanging out with friends.. virtually everything ..sex inclusive....madam done dey vex..I can't tell what's wrong...the only thing that interest me is going to work..come back bathe...eat and sleep..same routine.. weekends..just stay indoors..eat sleep same routine..

lost interest in tramadol...back then in scl..I used 2 literally lock myself up in my apartment.. do T.m nd doze all day..but ds yr.. I took d long nd painful journey back 2 recovery after 5 yrs of severe drug addiction nd 2day I'm drug free at last..u can also do it...stay away from drugs pls...

cool.. dropping an addiction is an everyday battle.. I pray u continue on the straight and narrow path.

I feel very privileged to celebrate my birthday today, grateful to God for bringing me to this day even with all the chaos in the world.

I use to have extreme social anxiety to the extent I would be sweating buckets when I was in public.. I had to plan ahead for days whenever going out was unavoidable, it was hell and the fact people always stared at me when I went out wasn't helping matters.. with time it passed when I stopped thinking or caring what anyone thinks.. that's the first step to conquer the anxiety.. always tell yourself whatever you assume anyone is thinking is just in your head.. it worked for me.

I have had a personal experience to support that claim but it could still be due to the individual.. I just wanted to know from a broader audience.

I have heard several times that individuals that studied psychology are always manipulative and devious, word on the street is that they make terrible partners.. I wonder if there is any element of truth to that assertion.
