I have knew him more 28 years and since I have hated him till today for one single statement he uttered in my present. He was junior to my dad in army so I knew him well enough right from onset buhari is a wicked man What did he say? |

Am I the only person that thinks that this writing style is overly simplistic and does not deliver any tangible message? If this is the work of the formerly revered Reuben Abati then I think that the quality of Nigerian Journalism is tragically low. This writing format is what I would expect from an uninspired high school student.
I mean, come on- using such a format is ridiculous. I'm still trying to figure out if this pathetic write-up is more tragic than the number of thoughtless comments hailing it as a "good write-up". |

SmartMugu: It's not just Nigerians, foreigners generally. The man is racist and doesn't hide it. I've seen several racists, but they often pretend not to be, but his case is glaring. Racism has already eaten deep into the US system, with someone like Thrump leading the country, US will likely face issues with several countries.
Thrump has problems with africans, hispanics, Muslims, African Americans and others. If he pushes for repatriation of foreigners, several countries would gladly repatriate Americans as well. I wouldn't be suprised if he's one of the dumb Americans that don't believe there are some Americans living and working in other countries.
I don't know how he intends to win because the stated races and religion have a huge population in the US. Oga, I do not believe that Trump is a racist at all. He only says that because he knows that that is what Republicans want to hear. Once he wins the nomination I expect that he will mellow out and show his moderate side because he knows that the Republicans will vote for him whatever he says due to the fear of not wanting a Democrat to remain in the White House. He knows total deportation of illegal immigrants is not feasible and will do significant damage to the construction and agricultural industries in the US and I strongly suspect that he will simply use Presidential authority to hasten deportations of dangerous criminals and greatly increase the resources directed to border patrol with the objective of stopping new illegal immigrants from crossing into the country. He will then probably tighten the noose around those already here leading to a situation where life becomes so unbearable that they simply go by themselves. This will include getting rid of the DACA program that allows children brought to the States as children to go to school and work. If he wins, I am sure that a lot of people affected will get married to citizens in an effort to escape the worst of his policies. |

slyfoxxjoe: don't mind that buffoon. Sickens me how Nigerians first reaction is "aaah we no go get visa again" why don't u stay home and contribute ur own efforts to make ur country great instead of perpetually aspiring to be a second class citizen in countries that have their own people to take care of. Trump never made any negative remarks about Africans, never mind those silly local bloggers, but even if he did, why should Nigerians be a factor or priority in a US election? Abeg oga, take it easy na. Why call him names? It is normal for people to be interested in the elections of other nations- notice the intense interest in the Taiwanese elections by the Chinese. This is due to strategic and trade considerations. While the American president is not elected to cater for Nigerians, Nigerians should be expected to be concerned by the election due to the large Nigerian diaspora in the United States and fact that that diaspora is a vital source of income to our people. Any candidate that will create an enabling environment for our citizens to prosper should be supported by all Nigerians because a rising tide lifts all boats. We are not the only people that watch the American elections carefully- the Israelis, Ukrainians, Syrians, Russians and Mexicans are watching very closely as well. |

Education › Re: Is It Illegal To Buy Dead Bodies In Nigeria? by casualobserver1: 10:00pm On May 01, 2015 |
SARS divisions all over the country are responsible for supplying fresh bodies to teaching hospitals. They are also big in the organ trafficking trade. With the new health law passed by the National Assembly, SARS will be pushed out of the organ trafficking network and the hospitals themselves will become the major suppliers of organs for the international black market.
It is important to note that the Nigerian Police Force is one of the major opponents of a true National Identity database because such a database will adversely affect the cadaver trade that is a significant source of revenue for them. |

Truckpusher: It takes two to tango but one person bears the brunt in a more severe way than the other .
I'd say common sense should be applied more by the ladies because if it backfires they'll always be at the receiving end. Thanks boss. This is what I am saying. Women in Nigeria tend to be passive and the culture of asking "who impregnated you" does not help. So long as the girl wasn't forced, the girl is responsible. Female voters should push for government funded free contraceptive programs in order to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies. |

Justfollowit: Yep
That was why I called her st.upid. Besides that was not the guy's first abortion. If anyone should know better, it should be him. I don't want to be an asshole but the guy never underwent the process of abortion. That is something that women have to endure. I place the blame squarely at the feet of women who don't protect themselves from unplanned pregnancies. They have far more to lose, especially in Nigeria where there is no institutionalized child support or welfare for single mothers. |

luluosas: First, you have no right to have sexual affairs when you are not legally pronounced married, as sex is the preserved of the married couples ONLY. Secondly you have no right killing souls you can never give life to. Now that your manhood refused to learn sense and you've gone again to have unlawful sex with a woman, you must bear the pregnancy and ensure that the baby is delivered safe and sound after nine months of the pregnancy. As for your joblessness, it is no excuse for you to be used by the devil to commit abortion again after you survived the previous ones you committed. Whatever that you are eating and surviving on today will also sustain the child when he is finally delivered. If you need further counsel especially in the area of your joblessness, reach me on 08144845524 and let's discuss. Who knows, something good might come out of it. Thank you and GOD bless. Ogbeni, not everybody subscribes to your idea that sex is for married people only. If you believe that then good for you, but you can't say he nor anybody doesn't have the right to have sex. or are you ICC Hague? |

So unemployed people can't knack again? This is ridiculous. There are cheap contraceptive methods available and in my opinon long-tem contraceptives IUDs should be available to whoever wants them for free. Yes the OP messed up, but so did his girlfriend. You saying he should abstain due to unemployment is like saying an unemployed man should not go out because if he gets into an accident he can't pay medical bills. |

I maintain my stand though. This is not about God it is about being stupid. He could have prevented it if he really wanted to. The girl could also have prevented it. So why blame the guy. Or did he force the girl? The girl could have bought postinor 2 of 200 or put herself on contraceptives but she did not. |

rokiatu: If you was dumb enough to have unprotected sex when you are not ready for a child yet then your stupidity is beyond measure. My only advice is to stop wasting time thinking so much and go look for any kind of work for that matter even if you have to clean shoes. You are going to be a father congrats in advance. When you was hitting it raw and enjoying yourself, you didn't think about this day abi? When you was c..umming in her, you had no idea there was a thing call, pregnancy right? And the morning after you and your dumb gf couldn't think of a thing call "the morning after pill" ni? Well you see God give us a brain for a reason, if you can't think and make logical decisions you will be left to face the consequences.
Welcome to the real world. Aunty, abeg don't do things like this. You are blaming the guy, what about the girl that let a jobless guy sleep with her without using contraceptives herself. The fact is that both parties are to blame. Women in Nigeria sometimes act like idiots, they will get pregnant and start asking the guy to take responsibility, but when the guy was knacking her she was enjoying it. The fact is that women (who have more to lose from unplanned pregnancies) should be the ones taking precautions including using contraceptives and buying morning after pills. A girl that gets pregnant is to blame as much as the guy that impregnated her. You should avoid blaming one party for the whole issue in future. Or did someone get you pregnant and say you should abort? |

BlackLeopard: Bro victim blamin is anythin sayin about why she be lyin about the rape. Or 'we don't know the story'. Or... All it. SJWs are obvs needed in Naija stiiiill, and in Naija too. My guy we don't need SJWs in Nigeria o. SJWs are against any form of personal responsibility. According to SJWs a girl that goes off and gets drunk only to get raped bears no responsibility for her predicament. These are people that will say that fat people that overeat are not responsible for their health problems. If they enter Naija now, they will say that Nigeria's people are not responsible in any way for our underdevelopment, and will go and blame colonialists or something equally stupid. First off, the girl's story has K Leg. So she went somewhere and got raped, didn't talk and stayed there ALL DAY? All lies. She went to that guys place, the guy probably seduced her then threw her out leading to the infantile "I hate you" DP. The fact is that OP is a mumu guy that has been caring for the girl since but doesn't have any sense (see the whole we have been friends for long) and the girl is using this to manipulate him. The next thing she will hear is that after the rape, she doesn't like sex at all so he shouldn't ask her or aproach her with that in mind. Being a born maga, he will swallow the story and stay there. |

mortee: I met this woman today. Actually I have always seen her at a friend's house and my friend only told me her name and said she lived at Federal Palace Hotel for a number of years. The name didn't mean anything to me, so it ended there.
I was there to braid my hair today when she came out again and told a man who was sitting down outside the house that she was taking a stroll. After she left, the man, who by the way, happens to be her younger brother, began to tell me a more detailed version of what I had heard earlier. Curiosity made me google her name and I found a topic about her exists on Nairaland, though many years old.
True she had cancer of the scalp, she got treated but maybe the drugs or cancer has affected her brain too. She is probably suffering from Alzheimer or whatever it is called. Her brother told me that she sometimes talk off track and forgets things so easily. He showed me pictures she took with prominent personalities all over the world and how she was married to a notable politician in Nigeria.
I don't know how this will help or how much people are interested in her story. But if anyone wants to know more about this woman, leave a message here. I would appreciate it if you could tell us more about this lady. |
