When you have a spare moment, kindly refer to the discussion thread that I started in this forum, where I expressed my disgust and rage at the destruction and plunder of African natural resources by the Chinese. I have walked this planet for long enough to shed whatever bias I may have held in the past, for or against the collective people of ANY race. Thus prefaced, the Chinese exploitation of Africa, is a tragedy of biblical scale, copiously detailed in this thread that I hope you'll scan through some time.

In this vein, I make bold to declare that MOST of the Chinese nationals currently invading African soil to plunder her wildlife, destroy her rivers with mining effluent, clear-cut the last vestiges of her ancient tropical hardwood forests, and mistreat indigenous African workforces, are derived from the purely criminal element, dredged from the squalid dregs of Chinese Triad underworld elements. In other words, the vast majority of Chinese currently swarming over to Africa for quick money exploitation safaris, are singularly hateful, greedy and amoral parasites, who should be booted BACK to China, as soon as Africa gets wise to their true agenda, which one can only hope is soon.

I went to all this detail to illustrate that I neither idealize nor vilify any race, since my opinions and mores arise from what Martin Luther King referred to as "the content of their character", as opposed to the "color of their skin." This woman felt threatened by the anger of this linebacker looking brother, just not being allowed to ride with her in the elevator, so unless the brother was in a big hurry, letting her ride the elevator alone, just to keep everything chill, would have been the best outcome for all involved. If my view doesn't conform with yours, please accept my apologies for the way you feel.

Giving this Chinese lady the benefit of the doubt, let us bear in mind that regardless of the sign allowing two people in the elevator, both occupants would be in VERY close proximity to one another, whereby if either one of them already had the virus, there was a risk that it could be transmitted during that elevator ride. There are in fact a couple of cases where the virus lingered in the air of an elevator car, and then infected a person who entered that space ALONE, several minutes later, suggesting that this particular lady's concerns were valid, and had little to do with bigotry.

In the shoes of this man, I would have simply told the lady to take the ride alone for her peace of mind, and then patiently waited for the next appearance of an empty elevator. The over-reaction of the self-important man only showed him to be an aggressive bully, which only hardened the lady's resolve NOT to share the confined space with him.

N.B: I am not here to defend any government...just to explain things.

The price of fuel is going up for two reasons....very simplifed

1.Nigeria is not earning enough cash to keep the price of fuel down because the amount of dollars we are earning from oil aren't enough to pay for subsidy (which exists so long as fuel prices are controlled by the government)

2.Because Nigeria is not earning enough dollars, the value of the naira is going down, which is why the oil price is going up. (In very rough terms, N145 is equal IN value to N65 ten years ago).

3.We cannot increase refining capacity because despite 61 licences issued for refienreis, only people like Dangote are building, because if you build a refinery in Nigeria, because government is controlling prices, anyone refining fuel in Nigeria will sell at a loss.

(That's why Dangote's refienry is not going to bring down prices in the meantime, because Dangote has to pay back loans he took to build his refinery, and then there is the cost. These add up).

4.Oil prices are going up,and since we import most of our refined fuel the price of fuel too has to go up.

5. The solution is simple. Allow marketers to control the price of fuel they sell. Yes, at the end of the day, we pay N200-300 for a liter of fuel...but in return, investors will come and buiild more refienreis, jobs and production icnreases, and competiton brings down prices. And smuggling stops, and government saves money.

The primary reason more African Americans are dying is because many have underlying health issues and they lack insurance coverage.
Sometimes some racist medical personnel do not attend to due shortage of supplies and other factors.

The young Nigerian man that died in America died because they refused to attend to him after several efforts to be tested and treated.
