omofunaab: Let me be honest with you.
I personally don't give a hoot about you guys.
You murderers killed my grandma, killed my uncle
There was no apology nor compensation.
Aregbesola and senator omoworare have tried for you guys. What else do you want. People have been arrested just to calm nerves, you guys are getting justice but we don't when you kill us.
What do have to say about madam Bridget? Madam Eunice? Their killers have been let lose by your state governments.
Stop crying
Swallow what happened abeg.
Just recently in Sabo here in abeokuta, an hausa man stabbed a Yoruba man but we managed to settle everything amicably..
But you don't try things like that in Ile Ife ,those guys are always battle ready..
Don't even try to provoke ife people.. You got away with in mile 12 because you received help from soldiers.
You guys should be careful.. if you witnessed the saki Massacre you will know that Ife own is just a tip of the iceberg.. there is no single place in yoruba land that those hausa/fulani can cause chaos and get away with it, not even lagos. .. one thing i have noticed is many people love to call yorubas cowards because of their slow nature to respond but when they finally do they leave terror in their path, this is the case in Ile-Ife |

patonyx1: I agree with on whether that's what they earn, Cos even there contract staff earn close to that.
So on the issue of shirts and shoe, my dear bankers are the no. 1 loaners. They can tear post-dated cheque to buy items both electronics, car, clothes etc. So, people shouldn't get tripped about their dressing. Contract staffs don't earn up to 80k. In fact you can know a contract staff from a permanent staff by the shoes, shirts and perf |

chim14: Warning!! There are a lot of cheap "wicked" and heartless employers that now reside in Ajah, Lekki and VI. They will pay a programmer/developer 50k to do a five man job. So heartless, they will deceive you that they are a startup, mean while, they are rolling in millions. Some will go as far as hiding their exotic cars, deceive you with free lunch in order to use your head.

Education › The Origin Of The Word Bigwigs by cbrass(op): 9:37am On Mar 14, 2017 |
The fashion for wigs began with the Bourbon kings of France. Louis XIII (1601 - 1643) went prematurely bald and took to wearing a wig. By the middle of the century, and especially during the reign of Louis XIV, The Sun King, wigs were virtually obligatory for all European nobility and 'persons of quality'. At that time they were known in England as periwigs, which was shortened to wig by 1675. big wigWigs were expensive to purchase and to keep in condition and were the preserve of the powerful and wealthy. Ostentation was the order of the day in Bourbon France and over time the wigs became bigger, often to the point of absurdity and requiring of scaffolding. It isn't difficult to imagine how the term 'big-wig' emerged to refer to the rich and powerful. source : www.naitalk.com

anitank: But of course they'd say that so people don't stop paying the N54,400 visa fee.
I was at the US embassy on Monday and was rejected visa for the very first time. Their reason: I don't have a very 'strong tie' to show that I'd come back to Nigeria. Meanwhile I've been to the US 14 times, and came back 14 times!! With clear evidences on my passport and their system.
Nigeria may not be among the 6 countries with an obvious travel ban, but trust me the new executive order has Nigeria on their watchlist too that's so pathetic, i feel for you |

laurenjones: if you give appropriate notice prior resignation , you will be paid in lieu i.e in place of notice. but if you resign without giving proper notice, you will pay the organisation in place i.e in lieu of notice. its usually one month basic salary i.e. total take home excluding allowances.
Oya start pouring the likes Better this,is what i want to hear, so i will still be paid for the two weeks notice. Am on probation though |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Do I Terminate My Employment by cbrass(op): 3:20pm On Mar 07, 2017 |
SMC: Payment in lieu of notice means, where you fail to give the 2 weeks or 1 month notice required for probationary or full employment respectively, you have to pay them either 2 weeks or 1 month's salary/wages in place of the notice you did not give (i.e. you pay them in lieu or instead of giving them the notice).
Hope this helps to clarify things. Ok u mean for the two weeks notice i will give them i won't be paid |
