Unfortunately, there is nothing these lawmakers can do to them. The NFF officials will visit them later in the night and money will change hands. The genesis of this whole issue is FIFA’s rule that ban the interference of Government on the activities of the Football Federation. That gave the NFF a free pass to embezzling the funds given to them annually by FIFA and CAF. This explains one of the reasons Amaju Pinnick the former FA boss now own a Private Jet.

From a reliable source, the two that remained have been granted asylum by the Brazilian government. There are slight differences between Nigeria and Brazil. Brazil is riddled with crime compared to Nigeria with way lesser crimes. The two countries are ironical nations suffering in the midst of plenty.

To be fare to these guys, their salaries aren’t enough to take care of the demand and needs of their constituents. You need to see how people queue up in front of their gates whenever they go back to their constituency with various forms of monetary demands. Mind you the more hardship the members of their constituency face, the more demand they will be exposed to. These guys make more money based on the committees they head or belong to. Anyways that doesn’t mean their salaries should be increased though because that will be immoral.

The biggest beneficiary of this new announcement are the Contractors who are going to be awarded the contract to supply these buses and also the middle men who will help in brokering the purchase of the buses. My prayer is to be part of such deals in the future. Na people when nor dey see Nigeria government money chop dey form activist. Ask those that were in GEJ’s government that later became activist during Buhari’s torturous administration.

Almost everyone that commented are missing the point. That people are abandoning their scholarship in lieu of better life isn’t the issue. That’s just a cover up by those in TETFUND. The committee is asking you guys to give an account of how you spent that huge some of amount. Everyone that knows the working of TETFUND knows that this government agency is a free for all when it comes to embezzling.

Please go read up diplomatic visa (G2 visa). I don’t know if this can be grouped under visa waver but Most government officials get their visa through none appearance at the US embassy. The visa application is mostly handled by the ministry or agency’s protocol officer. With these kind of visa you can’t change your status in the US.

I have a friend who lives abroad and did similar thing and his wife dragged him all over the place for it. Because the guy is well to do, he sold the land and gave her the money. Guess what? Few weeks later this same Lady bought another land in Abuja without the husband’s name and the husband not even being aware. From this my friend’s experience, I have come to learn that women always want to look out for themselves, their children and their family and don’t even consider their husband that work hard to get this money. This same lady have been living in their big house in Abuja without my friend’s two kid sisters or parents knowing where their elder brother and son’s home is located because she can’t stand seeing them. Madam your husband must have seen something that made him take the decision to exclude you from the land purchase.

This is what alot people do not consider, those amount of salaries should attract taxes of atleast %25 to %30, bils excluded. Car insurance, gas, electric, water, council tax, road tax, car parking permit, MOT, petrol and health insurance, food groceries. And you have to pay into a pension scheme.

All these your excuses doesn’t hold waters. Btw Doctors in America are loaded regardless of these petty bills you stated. Even me that isn’t a doctor don’t get worried with these bills. Una go just dey mention bills like say na death sentence. Many of them work multiple jobs and aside student loan payments the only bill they worry about is malpractice insurance.

Guess my little boy has been scammed as he was told he should come back for his passport some time later, even after been denied visa

Please give some more information. Did he appear before the consular for his interview or it was none appearance? If it was none appearance maybe the agent have scammed him or misplaced his passport but just giving flimsy excuse but if he appeared perhaps they’re trying to run some investigation on him perhaps he bears a name that might have showed up in their database as someone that have defrauded a US citizen in the past and sooner or later they will arrest him or one a good note he might get a call from them to come pick up his visa. I have heard of situations like this. So only your boy knows the circumstance surrounding his application.
