The thread is for NA DSSC/SSC 2013. I will not be suprise when some over sabi people will start to preach inside the training camp.

You better stop all the propaganda and face the race of heaven, not by your words, but by your every seconds belief towards God. Am a Christian, but you need to learn some ethics.

According to my statistical probability of speculation, the classical method has failed woefully, so also the relative frequency, and now it is time for subjectives approaches.........I wonder if any of the intending officer Gamble or play Baba Ijebu, after your permutations, you will either have one too sure or two sure,

Now listen to the speculation.

The Number of applicant this year has exceded the previous in tripple due to the high rate of unemployment in the country, instance: over 158, 000 registered for the 69 RRI, and that is why they introduced the pre screening text.

Now Listen carefully,

1. There is probability that all the record of the DSSC and SSC 2013 is lost due to overhauling and internet seizure, which lead to server cramping.

2. The population is being call for a pre screening text.

3. The ongoing screening test for other lower rank.

4. A test of time.

5. Be Patient

CultureCultural/traditional Festivals In Nigeria by Celestine247(op): 7:54am On Jun 24, 2013
After many over speculations about the ethnic groups in Nigeria, many people are yet to believe that the country has over 300 ethnic group.

But the fact is that, there are some cultural and traditional festivals that can attract tourist from all over the globe, but the problem is still lack of awareness and sensitization.

I am very much aware of the following festivals in Nigeria.
1. Osun Osogbo festival......Osun state
2. Argungu Fishing Festival......Kebbi state
3. Eyo Festival..........Lagos state
4. Macuf Festival........Machina, Yobe state
5. Olojo Festival......Ife, Osun state
6. Iwude Festival........... Ogun state
7. Oke Ibadan Festival.......Ibadan, Oyo state
8.New Yam Festival..........Enugu state
9. Sango Festival..........Southwest
10. Ogun festival............Southwest

Imagine, I can only remember 10 out of many beautiful cultural festivals that is celebrated across the country.

NL, can you pls identify your own cultural festival and let's promote our identity right from here.

Thanks.

@emmanuel4fire, despite my warm and simple approach, you fail to understand me, i really commend you for ur effort, and even now that you have make yourself the chief newspaper reader, i wish everyone all the best.

The fact is that no one is aggressive in any way, coz we don't have much power over the situation, and if not for the NA, who can not keep the protective applicant informed, at least the form is not free, so we deserve some formality, regardless of the total number of applicant.

@ emmanuel4fire, keep the good work, and the fact is am in the jungle with no access to newspaper, so am wondering if you are the only one in the city or have access to the news. Thanks.
CultureRe: Prostitution In Nigeria by Celestine247(op): 2:16pm On Jun 20, 2013
Many Hotels in Nigeria are operating a brothel, and instead of making it known that they are operating brothel, they keep on basterdising the image of Hotel industry in Nigeria, and people keep saying bad things about Hotel, most especially people working in Hotels or the tourist who have no where to sleep.

Many hotel operating on a short term rate and of which is not part of the hotel rule, because the sex seeker can't find a convinent place to satisfy there sexual urge like a brothel, which are not allow to operate legally in the country
CultureProstitution In Nigeria by Celestine247(op): 1:52pm On Jun 20, 2013
I know the question may sound unethical due to the fact that some ethnic groups and culture does not support prostitution, but the fact is that, there should be a check and balance.

1. Should prostitution be legalize in Nigeria regardless of culture, norms and value.

Your response count.

CareerHotel Or Brothel ? Nigerians Raise Alarm by Celestine247(op): 10:28am On Jun 19, 2013
The uprising saga of many so called Hotel owner using the banner of Hotel accommodation to operate Brothels in Nigeria is very alarming, as it is known that brothel is also a part of hospitality outlet that harboured prostitute for fun and sex lover to satisfy there urges.

Majority of tourist are complaining about the rate at which prostitute are parading hotels with indescent dressing which most of the time, they don't feel comfortable with the environment especially tourist that come with there little children.

Do you think Nigeria should legalize prostitution so that Hotel can be clarify from Brothel, so as to stop tarnishing the image of the proffesional and visitors who have no where to go.

The point is that, if you see a person going to Hotel nowadays, what will you think.?

Foreign AffairsRe: Aljazeera Crew Detained In Niger Republic by Celestine247(m): 5:46pm On Jun 17, 2013
Mass Media should help in unifying a nation and not pulling it down, so shameful that politician are using the media who are suppose to use there intuition to ensure a peaceful co existence. Aljazeera is claiming to be a freedom fighter and i don't blame them, they have the support and backup from there gorvernment( Sheikh). Is anything wrong if Nigeria can equipped our so called NTA to international standard, even to African standard, don't blame Aljazeera at all, watch all the imperialist country like France, USA, Britain and even China, They have station like France 24, CBN, BBC, CCTV respectively., don't blame aljazeera at all, even ordinary football live match between Nigeria and other country they can't show, we are in the era of cable Tv and i can see why Abacha did not allow DSTV into the country back then.

PoliticsRe: "Ajumo'mo" Learning Tablet To Be Launched By Oyo State by Celestine247(m): 8:57pm On Jun 13, 2013
Every opinion is highly respected on this thread, " we shall all make reference to what we said later"

from my own perspective, i guess it would be more sensible if the tablet has been given as a form of bursary to higher institutions, of which could be more helpful to the Polytechnics and Universities student who are in need to explore more books for research.

The fact is that Most secondary student will not be able to understand and utilise the function and which the life span is not guaranteed.

Imagine, when i show the tablet to a woman in my office, the next thing she said is how she can transfer her children to public school or register her daughter name with a principal.

We need books not tablet, we should not discourage the average book writter who may not have access to the tablet

Equipped the school library and make it comfortable for reading, i can believe we still have the last edition dated back to 1965:::::

review the library policy and don't allow another corruption at the library commision because they will still be collecting allocation and paying staff who are doing nothing than to sleep.

Nigerian which way NOW
we need more critics oo
I wish MR president and the Governors should be following the threads on NL
