Obviously, you are relying on statistics. I felt there were better players than Nsofor in the team but he was really outstanding. I also don't understand how he dropped to the bench. Those 25 appearances seems to be mostly as substitutes. Sincerely he was really outstanding.

Our performance in that competition was overrated. Losing one man against Greece and the game went south. No game plan. We couldn't even win S. Korea to qualify. We may want to blame yakubu but the players weren't really impressive.

First of all, which striker is better than Martins in that team? Pls, list them.

Secondly, you can't discard an inform player for young but inform player based on age. It doesn't work in football.

Thirdly, are Ighalo and Mikel playing in competitive league?

Fourthly, Martins played two qualifiers matches hence contributed to the qualification to the WC. Gbam!

But Martins failed to impress while he was given his chance under Keshi. Those mediocre players were even more impressive... I could remember Dike and Ameobi made me change my mind. Na only the midfield wonder me... Martins sef ain't no midfielder.

I use to prefer Martins then to Yakubu cause I felt he was better. I was always surprised when Yakubu starts ahead of him. But since I turned full Super Eagles fan, the nigga haven't really impressed me. Who said Keshi never gave nigga a chance. I watched that match against Kenya. Jokes apart for Barthos age he's doing very well in Holland. He last featured for us 12 years ago. Not saying we should call him for wc but the resurrection of his career is something really good.

I'd say we call him. His stats are getting hard to ignore. Forget age, as far as he is performing, then sincerely he is good to go. How many of our strikers is scoring hatrick and brace?

If you actually watched the draw and saw their positions then there's no irregularity. All group positions were drawn. And all groups are following the same pattern of P1 vs P2, then P1 vs P3, ending with P1 vs P4. P1 Russia and P2 Saudi Arabia. So what's the irregularity?

The fixtures in group A is irregular... Russia are to face Saudi Arabia first instead of Uruguay as done in the other groups.

If you cannot beat a team ranked over 20 places below you there is no way your ranking points will rise.

Argentina lost 97points for the loss to Nigeria, even though they won their last S/American qualifiers and beat Russia.

Even if you lost to a team at the top of the Ranking, the outcome is still the same...A lose is 0 and you would be gaining no point irrespective of the opposition....

Spain being in pot 2 is a very bad omen for any team that happens to be in same group. It would look as if two teams were taken from pot 1, because they are much stronger than most of the teams in pot 1.

Spain is a pot 1 in disguise... now couple it with an actual pot 1 team like Germany.

There is a high possibility of Spain being in the same group as Germany.
