Christianity EtcWhat Is The Most Sensible Or Most Ridiculous Prayer Point You've Heard. by Certitude(op): 9:28am On Oct 16, 2016
I was walking along a church this morning when I heard the man leading the prayer raised a point that "God should hear the prayers of everyone praying to him wherever they are." There was no mention of religion or denomination, To say that I was impressed is an understatement.
In contrast to this unselfish prayer point above, a friend told me of this other prayer point where they were told to pray that "God should recover my blessing stolen by (the devil, my enemies, anyone, etc. can't remember which). I have no problem with that prayer except that the prayer goes on to say that God should also in return steal back the enemy's blessing also. Now, that's ridiculous.
Let us read your opinion.

Lies. Hitler believed that he was doing the lord's work.

Hitler himself was a christian
I don't know if hitler was a christian but in a book i read, he stated that "christianity is a religion for the sick-heads." He made mention about preferring the mohammedian religion.

Then let's get started already.... smiley

Chess is a beautiful game. Your Brainpower and strategic thinking is tested again and again not even to mention its good effects on one's prefrontal cortex and other cortical areas of the brain. smiley

I learn chess weekly and set aside time to improve regularly... You wanna grow really fast. Then don't be scared to take on "the best". You'll be humbled but you'll grow fast... Also add a few personal targets like studying Chess via the internet and much more.

And yep... Chess got some books you can look through too.

If you really want it... Then you've got to want it bad. smiley

It's the same for all fields and endeavors in life... Just a re-emphasis... smiley I trust you know this. smiley
can i have the link to any good online chess book?

sir joseph1013. I don't think anyone here is having any personal grudge against success. From what I have been reading here, everyone was happy he was finally called. My concern is how this act might affect him in future. Sometimes, this players need the national team more than how the National team needs them and will need to put up with those excesses. I feel success is comfortable for now. That is if there is any truth in the story.

joseph1013:
And who told you they cannot get the World Cup and much more by boycotting the matches thereby forcing the administrators to do the right things? In fact, just five key players is what it takes for a revolution to happen in the NFF.

Do you play Chess?
Yea, I do play chess but ain't so good at it.

joseph1013:
And this right here is the problem. You lot think nothing can stop the NFF and this is what we will continue to have so players should just take everything the NFF throws at them. What a mentality! I'm not surprised you support him.

What do you think will happen if all the players refuse to come until the FA pays their monies being owed? You think Siasia was dishonest when he said the FA intentionally refused to pay his players their bonuses, and that he is not ready to work with them again?

You want the players to continue the suffering and smiling pattern? Na wa
The players need the world cup more that the administrators whose only concern is the paper. With the immunity against government interferences granted to this NFF by FIFA, how do we stop this corruption now? Do they boycott matches and stay back in their various clubs because the NFF refuses to pay? Others will happily grap the opportunity.

joseph1013:

You cannot say he is not ready for the challenges of the Super Eagles when you cannot show that you can work without pay yourself. Stop encouraging corruption and incompetence.
I go with oga GoodJoe here. If the story is true, then success is not ready to face the challenges of the super eagles. No one is saying the NFF is right but we know how it has always been and it won't stop anytime soon. If success isn't able to stand this, what other antics of the NFF will he be able to withstand. Unpaid match bonus? Flying Economy? Being stranded?... Let's start with those who can cope first.
As to working without pay. I can't, depending on what is obtainable. Since I can't, then I am not ready for the challenges of the Job.
