Doesn't this show you that christianity is just another man made venture? Which is the true position of the Christian God and what does the christian God want people to know about creation? Is there an entity that is as confused as the Christian God?

I am a christian, at least for now, so don't get me wrong.
I usually call it clash of the Holy Spirits. Every one is led by the Spirit yet can't agree. They end up claiming the other is not holy spirit.

Imagine the scenario where by its an inter bank transaction and the sender is tryna avoid the sending fees. What's wrong with Nigerians using their heads. The amount expected could be a little different from the received amount and yes it happens as a result to few thousands added to it by the sender.

You and those that liked your comment are just been emotional. You relate everything to scam. He refunded half and he still responds accordingly with him. He changes display pictures (identity isn't hidden by him). What else should he have done? Steal money to refund him with the balance??

Agreed, it was a mistake on both parties. But, the truth is in the eyes of the law, handing over the money to an old woman, who was expecting money is not an excuse, even if valid, it is a third party transaction that does not involve these two.

The particulars here is, someone wrongfully handed money to another, who have acknowledged that, he wrongfully came into possession of the money. The term 'spent' does not only means parting with money in exchange for goods and services.

If you voluntarily parted with money under any circumstances (name it), you have spent the money, because you are no longer in possession of the money.

The lady that even received the money and paid her hospital bills with it, is not in the clear as she can be charged.

The best it will even do is to mitigate the punishment.

Let's even analyze your points and compare with the points from the recipient. You said he was supposed to return the money once he confirmed the mistake. And the recipient said, he already given the cash to the woman who was expecting money from the son for medical treatment, and the woman has spent it. He went ahead, and stated he wants to go to the woman and retrieve some of the unspent cash, and he did. Then followed up with a tactical conversation, that he has to borrow extra 5k to add and pay the 'OP'; That shows good faith in court, that shows honesty even though he might not be. But the courts see the acts and the facts not your emotion and conscience.

This is a win for the accused in court. Trust me.

That being said; My position remains that he is not supposed to expose the guy's pictures on Nairaland for his own very mistake. He is supposed to pay the price then use diplomacy to recover the funds. Even if the guy confessed that he spent the money. You cant expose his photos. In court you are asked if you owe, and you say Yes. And then you are asked when you expect to pay back. You are the one to mention the date and it will be recorded. No one goes to jail for owing and admitting that you owe. Never happens, except you deny.
In this case, the recipient story is sweet. And he can win in court provided he has evidences.

Are you talking about the court you see in Nollywood. Sincerely speaking; you know nothing about court.

Wat a shame. Meanwhile a young guy just told me how a lady he had never met before begged to use his account to do a transfer while at the bank.

He agreed and the lady sent 1,500,000 to his account while he waited. He even walked out of the bank to buy airtime and the lady remained calm.

According to him, he heard voices (devils of course) asking him to run and do an immediate transfer with his mobile app, and contact his banker friend to close the account, but he refused.

He came back to the bank and continued waiting. While there, his yahoo yahoo friend came in and told him. "Ol boy run!" and when he refused, called him fool, mumu etc.

According to him, he feared God and couldn't imagine betraying such trust.

That's it. Even if I don't know if I really fear God, I can't betray such trust. Thanks to my upbringing.

Christianity has got nothing to do with the superstitions about Cats.

The sole reason is that people who claim to be Christians do so while still holding on to the tenets and beliefs propagated by Paganism.

The Cat superstition is not the only one. You hear people say it is bad to eat in your dreams, or some other funny stupid superstitions. Its all because people have refused to abandon all these pagan beliefs. The irony of it is that I began to find religion repulsive when I found out that christians all have their own version of morality. Most even see nothing wrong in vices such as exam malpractices, indecent dressing, sexual immorality e.t.c, yet they speak in tongues and claim to have the holy spirit. You, being an atheist, may not see these as bad but i'm sure you would agree with me that those shouln't be associated with christians.
