Most uber drivers commonise the work and do not dress properly. When ever I am going out,I dress very well .semi coprate and look very sharp. When ever people look at me sef,they will think I am corporate company driver.

Some of those rude riders,when I go peak them and they see my appearance ,they will just be saying sir! sir!

Before anytime I'm around ogba,Ikeja,opebi and GRA I will face airport immediately to get request, I can turn round and round till I get request. But since the day I saw airport tout/sec put iron rod in uber car's tire in traffic , as in no movement. I realized it's a battle. So it's better I stay away and position anywhere else

Just make sure you maintain that car from the start bro.. Use good oil ,coolant and do the basic things.. And don't ever, ever let any mechanics remove the thermostat from the car .... You will enjoy the car .... From the picture the car looks clean.. Nice one.. You will enjoy the car... let me tell you a funny story.. One of my drivers that drives the civic is out of town for few weeks.. So my Mrs. Has been driving the car .. I ask why u driving the car ..she said the car runs fine and fuel consumption is better than her car . She said she has use 3k naira fuel since o . If she is by herself, she will drive the civic, but if she get passengers family etc . She takes her own car ...

Immediately we enter 3mb I begin do 140km this woman shout that I should drive 60 and should put on my hazard light so that cars will give way when coming towards me.
I just smiled and asked her won't she be late for her meeting she said I should not worry about that.

The probability of me picking someone twice in a week for me was very very low. And even if the system doesnt pick me, won't someone else request for a ride? If there's something I like the rating for, it's the fact that it notifies the next driver of what his next rider is going to look like. Imagine everyone here rating riders 5 stars.

If uber is not doing anything about low rider's ratings, I'd doesnt mean it's entirely useless. When you get a request and you see the rider's rating as 2.74, it helps you to prepare mentally for the trip. It's the effort of previous drivers that you just enjoyed.

Maybe I'm the one not getting the point here, but this is the view I wanted us to see

I disagree Sir, I think something is wrong with uber app. 3 weeks ago I got a notification that my account was flagged. I went to their office and I was adviced to get another phone, note that I was using a Samsung galaxy S6 at the point in time. Though I used to get increased fare on some trips and I have written to them till I got tired. Funny thing is I only get the increased fare on uber but taxify fares remains the same and my GPS is calibrated to high accuracy. I changed my phone to a Samsung galaxy S6 edge single SIM and everything was normal for like a week. The following week same issue started and I dashed down to their office, their reply was also same gibberish about changing phones again. Me I kuku carry my stubbornness continue driving with my phone like that. Some days later, I got blocked so I shot them a mail about my effort to resolve the issue and my account was opened again. Now, I remembered I have a Nokia 2 phone that I abandoned somewhere, I uninstalled all other apps on it and I have been using it for uber only. Everything as been fine atleast for now.

I was there too o. I'm new in Lagos, started uber yesterday. I got a request from there but couldn't get to the rider location (as I no sabi road, I just dey follow map). The map come waste my fuel well well, rider asked for cancellation......all the while that yeye map was showing me I'm almost at the location.

I envy those of you that already know your way around Lagos, Google should employ you people to reconfigure that map

nxt tym ask for d pickup address and check if its correct with d1 on d app before u started, atimes d pickup location may not correct

did you do a gps calibration? Are your uber and google maps up to date? I also use s7 bro and I can tell you it's the best for this work. Pls update and do a calibration on your gps. You may also have problems with taxify
