Obviously the win was a fluke, its not going to happen again.
But at least he has tasted the sweetness in being a World champ even if its just for a short period.

It's funny how most of these apprentices big up themselves before the show. You hear things like "I'm brilliant, dynamic and I never lose" but they tend to be the worst candidate when put to the test.

I mean how hard is it to wash bloody cars?? This is what MrCrackles does for a living so it can't be that hard I reckon.  cheesy cheesy grin grin

One contestant actually bottled it at the last minute. I guess he was shitting in his pants when the thoughts of seeing Sir Alan in the boardroom occured to him. grin grin grin

Tell me about the Legend of Santa cruz, McCarthy, Berbasulk and Fernando Torres using the same analogy you used above.
Obviously not everyone that comes to the premiership will suffer . . . . . . I'm just saying their chances are slim. We are not saying everyone that comes to the EPL will play shyte.

Moreover Santa Cruz has only performed well in one season only, what has he done this season? He is a good player tho, maybe if he hadn't got injured.

McCarthy?? How did he get into the list?? What rep did he bring into the premiership? Not much.

Berba is Class . . . . . . . a lot of people might not like the way he plays but he has proved himself in the last two season. "You can pay for school but you cant buy class"

Torres is playing in a better team at Liverpool. His goal ratio was not really that impressive for a player of his calibre.
Let DayoTWATnu continue to bleat like a castrated hillly billy.
Players need to be on top of their game to flourish in the EPL. . . . . .
Michael Ballack has been Germany's player of the year several times and he ain't even recognised in Chelsea.
Players like Kanoute, Rossi, Pique, Forlan, Henry, RVN(last days at Man Utd) were struggling in the EPL but are now cult heroes in La Liga.
Gabriel Heinze couldn't displace Paddy Evra but Heinze is first choice in Real Madrid. . . . . .

Pizarro, Kezman, Del Horno, Boulahrouz(Cannibal) and many more were all wastepipes when they came into the PREM.
Forget about being biased . . . . . .  I won't lie, the EPL is a tough league. The pace, the tempo, even the pressure from fans (ask Eboue) can knock you down.

Players like Diouf, Diao, Diop etc that DK mentioned were just average/good players in my opinion. Nothing really special.
I remember Vidic and Evra's debut, I almost cursed Fergie for making those atrocious signings.

Deco at Chelsea?? Veron at United?? Baptista at Arsenal??  These players didn't do anything majorly special with the reputation that came along with them. I'm still waiting for Deco to set the stage alight at the bridge.

Robinho's best games have been at the City of Manchester stadium. He has been clueless away from home this season.
EPL is tough let's be honest.

I don talk am for the other thread, The EPL kills and hardly develops them. All they do is drink beer and chop peppersoup.

Our most succesful team hardly had any EPL player.

Look at Senegal, when their players were playing in France, they won France performed decently at the world cup(Quarter finals) and lost the Nations cup finals narrowly.

When they all went to EPL what happened? Salif Diao, Papa Bouba Diop, Henry kamara, Diomansy Kamara, Aliou Cisse, and El hadji Diouf what became of them. Their best players now plays outside EPL Niang and Demba Ba.
Mr DK, EPL is the best and the toughest league in the world. You have to be really good to hack it in there.
Coming to the Premiership is like a team winning promotion from the Championship. It's difficult.

Morientes and Shevchenko to name a few were top players but couldn't perform in the EPL.
You can't compare other leagues, you can't.

Let's be honest with ourselves, Amodu does not possess any tactical knowledge whatsoever. He just picks a team to go and play.
