What does a remark made about U21 strikers at that point in time have to do with JET's transfer to Ipswich?  undecided
Why chose to neglect the main thrust of the statement about Jack Rodwell?  undecided
Mind you, at the time I wrote this, JET had just gotten 5 goals in 12 games for Doncaster 2 seasons ago as an 18 year old, even Andy Carroll's return for Newcastle at that time wasn't as good.
JET's growth got stunted due to the options ahead of him at Arsenal with Arsene unwilling to trust him and I think his leaving is a good outcome.
Theo still doesn't play as a Striker
JET's career is not over, infact it is just starting and he can still be better than than all those players, the boy is just 20. I expect him to be back in the PL in max 3 years.
B52 is being pushed out of the Arsenal Squad, only its not JET doing the pushing.
I hope DK will also remember to paste this when the boy breaks out.

I like that JET has been allowed to go and develop elsewhere. The likes of Rossi were also sold by Manure and went away to make it elsewhere. It is better than rotting on the benches and becoming another Randall. If the boy sorts his issues out, he will be an elite player and I don't even think its issues like a big ego, its more about his work ethic, he's never come across as someone with a big ego every time I've listened to him, actually sounds quite level headed. I also like that he has gone to Ipswich because he will get games, he has basically gone there to replace Connor Wickham who has been sold to Sunderland.
Rah rah rah . . . we've heard it all before

"At this moment, I can't see another addition. The type of player we might have been looking for is not available. I am happy with the players I have got at this moment in time."

alarm don blow!!!!!!!
Fergie said it himself that he is in the market for a midfielder to replace Scholes . . . so he knows their is a hole in that midfield.
Being happy with the current players doesn't mean he wont/cant add to it.
Im also happy with the players we have but I want more.
The problem is getting the calibre of player to fill that role . . . there aren't many around to choose from.

I'm sure Fergie will get someone but I dont think it will happen anytime soon . . . probably towards the end of August.
I remember we were chasing Berbatov then, even before the season ended and we didnt cop him until deadline day.

CHARLIE SHEEN: I Will Deliver The FPL Title

Talented manager of the Chamokazzy Ponstars, Charlie Sheen #Winning last night launched a scathing attack on his fellow managers, describing them as 'mediocre'. He further went on to categorically tell The News of The World that he is confident of delivering the FPL title this coming season and has assured the fans to expect nothing but celebration at the end of the season.

He told a reporter outside the clubs training ground - "No manager comes close . . . I am confident of winning the title". Some sections of the media have already branded Charlie Sheen #Winning as being cocky and disrespectful not only to the game but also to the other managers in the league in which he reacted: "Am I cocky? Maybe . . . disrespectful? Absolutely not. I'm just stating the obvious fact".

"Our home ground (The Playboy Mansion) will be a fortress. All the teams that will travel down here will get banged mercilessly, I have no doubt about that," he said.

The new season looks promising with all the big clubs getting ready for the opening day. The Chamokazzy Playboys will definitely be one of the favourites to clinch the title while relegation candidates like Duduspace, Mukina and Eldee will have a long hard season ahead.

Let the games begin!!!

Dunno why such rank stupidity is showing itself on the Chelski thread these days. . . . For fcukk sake, Chamotex and Lalaboi play Football Manger - will you now trust them to make good buys? huh cheesy

Secondly, if more experienced coaches like Mourinho, Ferguson and Van Gaal still make the occasional dud buy, even Boavista isn't immune, despite his alleged scouting expertise.

You are right on the pre-season schitzo though, it's not much of an indicator of anything, especially when the coach is still trying ideas and players are still recovering from the shekpe overdose they had over the holidays.
grin grin grin

My scouting knowledge is good though.
Football Manager does help though . . . it helps you dig deep into the underground and gives you a massive pool to choose from.
But it only helps in identifying players . . . so just because a rookie is very good in Football Manager doesnt necessarily mean he'll turn out good in real life. cheesy cheesy

Saw this on the net.

TRIVIA TEASER: Ends with an 'A'

"New keeper David de Gea will become the 10th player to represent United whose name ends with an 'A'.

Judging by our research, we believe there are NINE others who have played for the Reds in competitive games - and all of them during Sir Alex Ferguson's reign.

We're not counting Brazilian twins Rafael and Fabio who could be included if using their da Silva names as well."

Off the top of my head right now

1. Djemba-Djemba
2. Evra
3.Valencia
4.O'Shea
5.Macheda

4 more . . .

Though in hindsight, I should not have said that because that assertion is open to all sorts of interpretations, reading what you have written there, it sounds like a question from a very dumb person. This is like asking me how I came up with the conclusion that you may die tomorrow.

Do you even have to be a genius to figure that out?
Don't be daft!
You made a dumb statement and you couldn't back it up.

I could say Hargreaves MAY never play football again? Why? Because he has been plagued with series of career-threatening injuries for over 2 years now if not more. This is plausible and more realistic.

Now I am asking you for the reason or reasons why you believe Young MAY never play for England again. Which babalawo did you consult? just anything to back up your assertion.

Ode! grin Oya go and fetch the post. Who can take you seriously when you cannot even read seriously? Young may never play for Utd again and he signs for £20m? That was the statement.

Very different from Young may never play for England again "because" he signed for Utd. How can it be so difficult to know there is a difference in the 2?
Brother Lateef!, you have lied cheesy cheesy

Make your mind up . . . Utd or England?

Even if it was the former statement . . . Young MAY never play for England again and he signs for 20m?
Has Young contracted HIV? or he is about to die soon? or how did you come up with the conclusion that he MAY never play for England again?
