You must have listened to the wrong song fam. grin grin grin grin

How does "tell me shawty wey I no fit screw" = "tell me something wey I no fit do"?

You see, what you say is 'no rhyme pattern' is technically 'dynamic, switching flow' to another person.
What you call seamless delivery by Ice Prince, is monotonous to another person.
That's why I said it's as good as Ice Prince based on where you're coming from.

Now when you look at the whole song, Vector is miles ahead with the lyrics.
He used simple but creative lyrics and utilised beat pauses perfectly, and his ad libs were sick too.

All put together makes Ice Prince's version good, but Vector's better.
For me, if you dont have a rhyme pattern, there is no way you can flow (at least persistently) with ease.
No doubt VEC murdered with the lyrics but I thought he went overboard with the ad libs (kinda took away from the dope hook)

But I see your points.

You say he was only better with the lyrics . . . but I pointed out his multiple flows.
What multiple flows? grin grin grin grin Go clean your ears mahn.

eldee:
On delivery, he was as good if not marginally better than Ice Prince.
Nooooooo way!!!
His delivery was all over the place . . . no rhyme pattern especially in the second verse.

eldee:
I'm saying, it's more catchy when you refer to the hook.
Vector was better, you may have your reasons for why he was better, but he was.
True! Because our reasons are different.

In fact the wordplay were phenomenal.

Thats why I said it depends from what angle we are looking at it.

The OP of that thread confirmed the title of the album on facebook was 'Football Thanksgiving'.
So I'm suspecting they were celebrating the win over Man City grin grin grin

Hehehe . . . one song three flows and you don't agree??
What of the fact that he was more connected to the Yoruba hook??

The fact that he referred to the hook with pun is enough for me to fall in love with his verse.
And he doesn't need to be Yoruba to do that, Sarkodie said . . . 'I don't know the meaning but I'm feeling the song', that was good enough.
I dont get the point of this . . . . why should I?

What connection are you talking about and how did he connect to the hook? Just because VEC is yoruba?

Yep . . . I said that already, Ice Prince wasn't as good as Vector but there are posible reasons for it.
But that doesn't mean Vector wasn't better.
That is where I disagree . . . . .well for me personally.
If you wanna judge solely on lyrical content . . . then its VEC but that is because he is re-making the track. He had to outdo Iceprince.

Come on . . . Vector's take is better than Ice Prince', especially on the delivery.
While it's not doesn't have Ice Prince' smoothness, he went the other style by utilising ad libs, changing flows, catching the beat break perfectly and putting in the Naija references.
He doesn't need to be smooth, the beat is sick enough to handle that. . . he just flossed on the delivery, changing flows is as catchy

And he had lines that were simple enough for those moments where the DJ pauses and everyone says the. . . 'Easy flow no wahala, spice it up so the girls can hola', 'Lately I've been crazy with the flow sotay won wa mi l'Aro' and he did his wordplay perfectly too 'I'm a big deal though(love machine) so she feeling the toy'.

Ice Prince killed it too, he went simple . . . why?? First single, it's a no brainer. There's a reason why M.I's most popular song is 'Safe'.
It depends from what angle you are looking at it.
You cant say Iceprince's work was weaker because he had a simple/basic lyrical content.
Vector was re-making the track so obviously he would try to hit harder than the original, which is why he focused on his wordplay.
He was very creative with his word play no doubt.
Ask Iceprince to do another version, he would prolly try to outdo VEC . . . . .it's a norm in the industry.

Iceprince on the other hand had a nice rhyme pattern to his flow that rode the beat perfectly for every bar without going outta line.

ROnaldo scored the significant part of the goals as you can see.
Rooney and Tevez also scored significant amount of goals too plus other midfielders chipping in.

Man City have spent over 250millz but take Tevez out of the equation . . . what do the others have to show for it.

Besides, my point is . . . if they want to WIN the league, others have to score more goals.
And looking at the team at present . . . the only other players that can prolly do that are Silva undecided undecided and Milner undecided undecided
Countries that qualified for the 2010 Cup of Nations did so well before Jan 2010. So it is highly probable that Sir Alex knew Senegal's fate before signing Diouf. We will talk about Senegal and 2012 when we get there.

While you are all talking about Mame Diouf and Man Utd, here's his record there:

Man Utd
Apps As sub Goals Yellow Red
Total (Club) 0 (0) 0 0 0
League 0 (0) 0 0 0
FA Cup 0 (0) 0 0 0
League Cup 0 (0) 0 0 0
European/Others 0 (0) 0 0 0

Yes, you read it correctly. He has played a total of zero games for Man U.
FFS, get your stats right. Diouf that has scored for Man United. You dont know zilch about footie so use your time to do something more constructive.
@ Chamotex,

This is all in line with what I have been saying. Sir Alex said he doesn't want to sign African players because of the Cup of Nations. The reverse of that statement is that he will sign African players without the Cup of Nations. The fact that Senegal didn't qualify for the 2010 Cup of Nations may have informed his decision to sign Diouf.

This is now a mute point. CAF has essentially given in to pressure from people like Sir Alex and agreed to modify the schedule of the Cup of Nations. If I'm not mistaken, in the near future, it will be held in odd numbered years to avoid clashing with the world cup. I don't know if that will satisfy Sir Alex.
Diuof had been signed way before the ACN . . . he only got his work permit in that January period or just before.
The fact that Senegal didn't qualify for the 2010 Cup of Nations doesn't mean they will never qualify again for another one so what is your point?
Fergie will sell him then right?
