Lol. Broz you dey sabi shine person teeth o. Some comments on facebook make me go bananas. Some Guys just comment on posts that have little or no meaning and i begin to wonder what's going on. Ladies don't appreciate the truth. They see it as you're hating on them. Honestly, it's not easy telling someone you know very well the truth. I must commend you for revealing to her the implications of whatever she's doing to her skin. I just hope she listens. 2 Likes |

I'm seeing this late. All the same, i'll just give my little input. I suggest you go for Electrical Electronics Engineering instead. You have to think of widening your chances in the labour market. Electrical Electronics Engineering cuts across every industry - Telecommunication, Power, Construction, IT, Maritime, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Aviation, Banking, etc Simply google the job prospects of this discipline to clear your doubts. Another good field which stands out just like Electrical Electronics Engineering is Mechanical Engineering. Try and find out from others about these two fields i've mentioned to get their views. Hope this helps? Good luck brother! |

Education / Re: Need Urgentt Help On Writing A Seminer by Champella(m): 12:51am On Feb 01, 2015 |
Alright here we go! You would be using Power Point for your Seminar presentation. So you'll have to make your work very simple and straight to the point. Like the one i did a couple of months ago (Pre-field Presentation or Seminar), we were required to present just 3 Chapters (1 - 3). These were the arrangements of the Chapters in mine: Chapter 1 Introduction * Background * Statement of the problem * Objective of the study * Specific Objectives * Significance of the study * Scope of the study Chapter 2 Literature Review Chapter 3 Methodology * Study Area * Population of the study * Sample size and Sampling Procedure * Sources and Instruments for data collection * Test for validity and reliability * Techniques of data analysis * Measurement of variables However, while making my Power Point i decided to simplify my work. I used about 9 slides. Slide 1 Cover Page * Title (Seminar topic) * Name of student * Registration number * Department * Faculty * School * (Recipient) Who you're submitting to. (I addressed it to my department) * Date Slide 2 Introduction * In my case i simply gave a brief definition of my concept in a few lines. You can mention types where necessary. Make use of bullets to make your work very neat and clear. Slide 3 Statement of the problem * Just pick out a few lines from your main work. Make sure that it's about 3 - 5 lines for simplicity. Slide 4 Objective of the study * You'll fuse your "Specific Objectives" into the main Objective. Again, you'll make use of bullets and numbering for clarity. You could say it this way. . . "The Objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the upcoming Presidential Election on students. To meet the General Objective, the following Specific Objectives have been identified". Slide 5 Significance of the study * This one is self explanatory Slide 6 Methodology * Study Area - Simply state the location. E.g Uyo, Akwa Ibom State * Population of the study - Simply state the population of those in your Study area * Sampling size and Sampling Procedure - You'll simply indicate the size of the Respondents you would be using for your study. You'll also state the method(s) or technique(s) you would use to obtain data for your study. E.g Simple random sampling technique Slide 7 Sources and instruments for data collection - Where would your data be gotten from. Primary data would be gotten from the Respondents. Secondary data would be gotten from Published journals, textbooks, etc. Then instruments for data collection would be a well structured Questionnaire. Slide 8 Techniques of data analysis - You'll simply state how you would analyse your data. For each Specific Objective, simply state how you would analyse them. Example: Objective 1 - Descriptive statistical tools (frequencies, percentages, means, etc) Objective 2 - Multiple Regression Slide 9 Appreciation - I think this is optional. I simply wrote "THANK YOU FOR COMING!" in mine. You just need to make your work very simple, neat and clear. You won't include Chapter 2 (Literature Review) in your slides as these ones are related works done by others. But prepare for some questions as your Lecturers would be there to ask you a few questions as well as your Colleagues. Your Lecturers would definitely make some corrections on your work. Just be composed and pray very well before you go for your Seminar. Please accept my little input. Don't worry others would be here in no time to add to what i've written already. You'll surely get more ideas from the more experienced persons in here. Good luck in your Seminar presentation! 1 Like |

mojeer678: Unfortunately, i'm not Jarus. I'm from Akwa Ibom State and Jarus is from Kwara State i think. Remember, i wrote "i'll reel out their names in no particular order". So anybody could have come up as Number 1. I created this thread to celebrate those people on this forum who have tried in their little way to help others with some information that ordinarily may have been paid for or not made available for unknown reasons. While writing, i thought of those who are still in Secondary school, those who are about writing UTME, Undergraduates, Graduates, etc. Haven't you read topics like these on this forum: * "I'm a Jambite and i want to study Biochemistry or Microbiology. What are the job prospects?" * "I'm in 300 level and i'm on 3rd class. Do i re-write UTME or go ahead and graduate?" * "I'm a graduate of Mechanical Engineering. What Certifications can i go for please?" * "I've been invited for an interview with Shell. What should i expect?" Are you telling me that if your sibling (if any) had been in a difficult situation you wouldn't help him out? Yes, Jarus bagged a 1st Class from OAU and i'm very happy for him because it's not easy to come out with one. You wrote, "it doesn't matter what class one comes out with, but what one is able to do with it". But you know what? These guys have done so many things with the little they have been able to achieve by telling us the things to do and how to do them. They just practicalised this statement "don't give me fish, but teach me how to fish". If someone gives you fish always without telling you how and where to get these fishes, believe me that person doesn't want the best for you. That person still wants you to feed from him/her. He/she still wants to lord over you. These guys gave us the type of information that would make us earn a living from. Let's learn to celebrate those people who have touched our lives positively. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Honestly, it sounds weird hearing a guy trying to sound soft with a fellow guy. I just can't stand it. If it's been a long time i've not seen a friend of mine, our conversation is always very casual. It goes thus. . . Me: Baba how far na? Friend: Senior man mmi, ur boy dey loyal o Me: U just throw way me like dat like pure water sachet Friend: Ah! Broz no be so na. I no fit throw way u na. U be my Paddy Me: So how far dat controls na? Make dat thing click abeg o. Boys no dey smile for here o. . . This is how guys communicate with other guys. 1 Like |

tolaxin: The forms are sold in Banks nationwide. These banks are - Zenith, Skye, Union, First Banks. You can also purchase the form in your state's NIPOST office. The last time i checked, it was sold at the rate of N4,500. You'll be required to pay another N500 to obtain this text "The Last Days At The Forcados High School". Every candidate will be tested with this book in the USE OF ENGLISH comprehension questions. I'll advise you keep an extra N1,000 to cater for your registration. Each state has a designated registration centre. Please adhere strictly to the registration centre(s) certified by JAMB in your locality. Failure to do this will render your application invalid. |
