Let's look at this situation from a footballing perspective.

We are two central defenders trying to defend against two strikers in a counter attack and we are almost close to our penalty area.

I am defender A, intelligent, faster and with a good positioning skill (NNPC Engineer), while my elder brother is defender B, intelligent, stronger and with a good positioning skill like myself (Programmer).

As defender A (intelligence, pace and positioning = NNPC Engineer), I would man-mark the striker with the ball without letting him out-turn me from the middle to be through on goal, try to make him drift away from the penalty area to the side.

By taking the striker with the ball sideways, I have the options of out-muscling him and winning the ball outrightly or kicking the ball out for a throw-in or corner-kick so that our team-mates can come back and defend in their numbers.

My brother as defender B (intelligent, stronger with good positioning = Programmer), will also man-mark the second striker without the ball. There is no way this second striker will out-muscle him.

If my brother and I were to mark the striker with the ball (using my details to get him the Customs job), we will be punished sooner or later. The second striker will be free and the striker with the ball will see the space to pass to him. Boom! He's one-on-one with our goalkeeper.

Even if we adopt a zonal marking system, the striker with the ball can make a through pass or play a one-two with him. Again, one-on-one with our goalkeeper and they would still score.

What I would do for my brother to get him a job is contained in my next post.

I have an elder brother who graduated 6 years ago with a first class in electrical engineering, he obtained his msc from Ukraine, since then he has been less fortunate with jobs, all efforts to nail a good job prove abortive. He is underpaid where he is working now as programmer. my issue now is,i was shortlisted for NCS documentation and I'm not planning to take the job,I don't know if it will be possible to give him my credentials to embark on NCS screening since it is not doctored? the guy in question looks so much alike with me and studied the same profession with me, would it be possible for him to take over my position without affecting him in the service since I have moved on for something else.

I do seek an advice on my education. I was an average student at secondary school of which i struggled with my weac. Eventually i had two waec result combined without passing English language at all . one result had all the science result except math and the other had math without english. I used combination of the two result to gain an admission even without english to study engineering at the polytechnic, never knew i would be so much fortunate. After my Hnd i got a good job and performing excellently well but i wish to further my education for post graduate now. l am confused on what to do now. Considering my age should i go back to write another waec, how do i even get the time considering my present job ? Can i make use of a weac result i just obtain this year for a post graduate admisson next year ? How do i cope with issue of promotions at work place considering my present level of education knowingfully well that right now I cant proceed to any university for admission without English language on my waec result. I am not here to discourage anyone, but if you know your discipline does not directly suit the department you selected in this Customs Application, don't expect anything positive from it. From a very reliable top-level source, they have started sieving all applications with that nature as junks. Remember, the Superintendent Cadre requires only 800 successful candidates. Thus, only appropriately qualified candidates will be considered for the next phase. If I am wrong by the time they call for the next phase, quote me please. I am a political science graduate, with Masters in Public Admin and wanted to apply for Stores/Procurement, but was advised not to bother. For instance, i learnt a lot of people that their course of study is not in line with Communications and Secretarial Studies put in for that department. Don't bother dreaming it, this provides a better chance for candidates with appropriate qualifications. I wish everyone the best. I did not cook all this up, my source is very very very genuine.
