PoliticsRe: Why Do People Love Clinton? by champredd(m): 6:28pm On Jul 23, 2007
It has been the unwritten culture of the US for some time now, that Republicans acquire huge deficits, while Democrats acquire surplus.

So the economy of the US is going to bounce back with the coming of a democrat as a president.

Yeah Zim Presido act against agriculture, why? because he stayed too long and ran out of ideas, just like Gadaffi.

ebos:
European Union (EU) - African Union (AU)

Uinited States of America (USA) - United States of Africa (USA)

Africans will not stop imitating. How far will this go with Africa's shoddy economic background.
U just crack the code, Africans must stop imitating if we want to develop. We must start doing things our own way instead of copying from other systems that have been used and abandoned after they have developed new ones.

America always justify its numerous wars and conflicts with different terms. Bush is not the first.

Good points. Bush should never be compared with Hitler. grin
Foreign AffairsRe: How Is Nelson Mandela An Africa Hero? by champredd(m): 4:16pm On Jul 23, 2007
@denex
Well said. We must acknowledge our heroes' past.

People who suffered because their democractically elected leaders were overthrown through western sponsored coups across Africa, simply because their leaders are Pan-Africanist and fighting for those still under colonial or apartheid rule.

Foreign AffairsRe: How Is Nelson Mandela An Africa Hero? by champredd(m): 2:37pm On Jul 23, 2007
Mandela is ultimately an hero, its not debatable, because he played a great role in bringing peace and justice to South Africa and still remain a force to reckon with.

PoliticsRe: Why Do People Love Clinton? by champredd(m): 12:31pm On Jul 23, 2007
When you hear about government interests, it means people in power, not necessarily the interest of the general public. Many people are linking the war in Iraq with business interests, but I do believe that there are other reasons that may not be visible now.

Obviously, we do not support those actions. We do not support the warrantless destruction of people's lives because they happen to be Arabs. We do not support playing politics with innocent lives.
Bush can't be compared with Clinton by all standards.
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Love Clinton? by champredd(m): 11:26am On Jul 23, 2007
Action defers in their ramifications, intents and objectives.
Most of Bush actions so far, I support them.

PoliticsRe: Why Do People Love Clinton? by champredd(m): 11:18am On Jul 23, 2007
That's what am saying Clinton's sanction don't work like Bush's. Because Bush back it up with action, he's an action leader and he has clear objective.

The war in Iraq is not lost, I do believe that, just wait and see.
And Darfur (or Sudan) problem as a whole has been there for some time, Bill did nothing about it. Bush had imposed sanctions on Sudan as well as pressuring China to influence their Coconut head Arab President, and its working.

Bush had used sanctions more effectively in North Korea as well. Clinton achieve nothing in that area.

As per Africa we have gained more during Bush regime. Economic growth, entrenchment of democracy, etc.

Clinton is an excellent politician, leader, and human being. Charismatic, a wonderful orator, humanitarian, i can do on and on. If his only crime was the Monica Lewinsky scandal, then he scores 100% in my book!
His crimes is not only Monica. It includes genocide in Rwanda, allowing IBB to annul the most free and fair election in Nigeria, while lying to Abiola that he would support him.
In actual fact, Africa has it too bad during Clinton era.

The joint BB era (Bush and Blair) had done more for Africa than any other regime in the West.

The Middle East is not my problem.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Do you mean we have to use all the money in the internal and external reserves to house, clothe and feed all these criminals? shocked Where do you start from and where are the facilities to "imprison" about 90% of Nigerians who have held elected officies in the past 10-15 years?---- huh Even the ones you are trying to arrest now, where are you going to by the 2,000-10,000 currupt government officials we definitely know are guilty of embezzlementhuh? It is going to be interesting to see that the EFCC will eventually get marooned like "Robinson Crusoe and Man Friday"! tongue
Why do you think OBJ issued an order for mass release of prisoners before he left? So as to decongest the place before they lock-up those motherf##kers.

angel101:
The prison cells are dirty and unfit for humans abi? them never hala! shocked
Why is it not going to be dirty and unfit, when all they do is embezzle money for development, those in the prison also have rights, but they are denied by our leaders who are now having a taste of what it's like to be there. Karma in action.

If Mugabe had not stayed on till the time that he started to think of taking the lands back, he won't be castigated, Omar Bongo had been in power probably longer than Mugabe, but he's not castigated because he's doing the bidding of the west. huh
