sonprodigal28:Just like the governors forum election, abi? You people sef. #change #GMB #APC |
Justbright:Basic question, how many have electricity sef, if I put on generator is it AIT I will tune into? And what does illiteracy have to do with anything? Isn't it embarrassing that educated people gathered to vote for some because of his name and some sob story about growing up without shoes? Literate and illiterate, we are all fed up with the dim-witted PhD holder! #change #GMB #APC |

Pdp image makers really need to get a grip on their lies. Fayose sorry for you! #change #GMB #APC |
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/tony-blair-confirms-meeting-with-buhari/ Tony Blair confirms meeting with Buhari on February 23, 2015 / in News 5:00 pm / Comments By Abiodun Alade @Biodunpen Former Prime Minister and UK envoy to the Middle East, Tony Blair, has confirmed he held a private meeting with the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari(retd) in London, weekend. Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State had claimed Gen Buhari was not in any meeting with Tony Blair, but that the former head of state had checked into a London hospital. He claimed the APC photoshoped a photo showing Tony Blair, Buhari, Governor Amosu of Ogun State and former Kwara State Governor, Bukola Saraki. Vanguard contacted Tony Blair’s office and got confirmation that the former Prime Minister did had a meeting with the APC candidate. From Left; Gov Amosun of Ogun State, Gen Buhari, Mr. Blair and Sen. Saraki in London. From Left; Gov Amosun of Ogun State, Gen Buhari, Mr. Blair and Sen. Saraki in London. In an e-mail response to Vanguard’s inquiry, Rianne Buter, Senior Media Manager at The Office of Tony Blair, said: “ Mr. Blair had a private meeting with General Muhammadu Buhari in London,” adding that “Mr. Blair hopes to visit Nigeria shortly when he will see the President.” It will be recalled that Fayose had claimed the photo of Buhari meeting with Blair was photoshopped. In a statement by his Special Assistant on Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Fayose said, ”Without doubt, it is obvious that these cabal in the APC are trying so hard to deceive Nigerians on Buhari’s health status. That’s the reason they have been using ‘Photoshopped’ pictures to defend their lies on Buhari’s UK trip. ”First, they used a March 5, 2013 picture, claiming that Buhari was taking a walk in London on Thursday. Later they came up with another poorly cropped picture of Buhari with former British Prime Minister,Tony Blair. |
Buhari needs no blessing from Obasanjo and neither is Obasanjo wanted in the APC. For the person that likes to call Obasanjo APC's navigator, exactly what has he contributed to the development of the APC prior to this election campaign? Obasanjo is a egocentric bully and that is the pdps problem not ours. Of course perhaps there is some residual espirit de corps being that they are both ex-military. As it is Jonathan has sunk so low in Obasanjo’s eyes that he prefers another party's candidate to succeed. People need to ask why, but then again there is plentiful evidence that the vast majority of the country is sick and tired of this rudderless government. That is the fruit of Jonathans leadership. His time is up. #change #GMB #APC |
francizy:Stop talking thrash. The president has already explained that he and his service Chiefs underestimated boko haram so don't blame others for his foolishness. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/i-underestimated-boko-haram-jonathan/ |
ogbonnayamkpa:Thank you for pointing that out. The IBB (pdp) and Boko that plotted the coup are living witnesses, but these children with no knowledge of history will just blather on and on... #change #GMB #APC |
Ralphlauren:Obanikoro went to court to challenge the lagos pdp primary result where the number of accredited voters and the number of votes cast were different. He had a good case so he was promised his old job back on the condition that he drops the case. And obviously Jonathan must have kindly remembered the man's good deeds in Ekiti state. Corruption endorsement at the highest level. #change #GMB #APC |
Pdp/Jonathan still wasting money in lagos? People should collect, and do the right thing come March 28. PDP will never win lagos. #change #GMB #APC |
Mrbigman1:Thanks for missing the point. Other Nigerians are dying by the thousand but it is Chisco buses and only igbo lives that interest you. #change #GMB #APC |
This is the same old tired bs. Haven't you guys learned from the TAN campaign, that endless repetition bores the audience? Quite apart from the childish lies littering the post. Smdh. Jonathan has only managed to show Nigerians that having a PhD is not evidence of imagination, intelligence or effectiveness. March 28th,unless he plays chicken again. #change #GMB #APC |
The same rigging tape that Jonathan has dismissed as fake? God will judge him, but after us on March 28! #change #GMB #APC |
Pdp always marketing childish lies. #change #GMB #APC |
drtwist:Shameless bigot. Yesterday you didn't have issues with him being in pdp, today you know he is following his 'brother'. As you welcomed barcanista, so we too welcome him. #suffer #change #GMB #APC |
Mrbigman1:And I guess Baga and Gwarzo were full of igbos? And Chibok? And the countless villages boko haram has terrorised? How many igbo/yoruba children have been kidnapped? #change #GMB #APC |
I will issue a challenge here. Please name the states of Nigeria that have domesticated the FOI law. As far as I know, Delta, akwa ibom and Abia have not. So do tell us who has and the impact it is making. We all know the EFCC was more alive to its responsibilities before this. #change #GMB #APC |
On ffk you make an error. How can the president employ someone currently under trial for corruption? Is that wise or seemly? Even this very week he is meant to be in court, so how does that help Jonathans image? He can decamp all he wants but his political influence is just in the same amount as his credibility. http://www.punchng.com/news/money-laundering-court-adjourns-fani-kayodes-trial-2/ Money laundering: Court adjourns Fani-Kayode’s trial February 23, 2015 by Ramon Oladimeji Leave a Comment A Federal High Court in Lagos has further adjourned till February 24 and 25, 2015, the trial of a former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, facing money laundering charges. Fani-Kayode’s trial was stalled on Monday owing to the absence in court of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s prosecutor, Mr. Festus Keyamo. The trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, had adjourned till Monday for the ex-minister to open argument in his own defence against the charges of financial impropriety levelled against him. Though the accused was in court and had proceeded into the dock upon calling the case, a counsel representing the EFCC, Mr. Somadina Okore, however stood up and pointed the attention of the court to a letter written by Keyamo asking the court for an adjournment. Okore said, “Most respectfully, my Lord, earlier before now, the prosecutor in this matter, Mr. Festus Keyamo, has written a letter to this honourable court, informing the court that he is appearing before a Federal High Court in Yola today. He is praying this honourable court to vacate today’s date to allow him to appear and prosecute this case in person.” Responding, Fani-Kayode’s lawyer, Mr. Wale Akoni (SAN), said he was aware of the letter and that he had no objection to the request for an adjournment. He also reminded the court that the matter was adjourned till Monday and Tuesday, adding that if it was convenient for the court, his client would go and return on Tuesday to stand trial. In the circumstance, Ofili-Ajumogobia adjourned till Tuesday and Wednesday for continuation of trial. #change #GMB #APC |
Mrbigman1:Are you sure it is not a matter of your perspective? So Yorubas don't have any problems in the north or is it that boko haram is not targeting everyone who disagrees with them, even up to the Emir of Kano? #change |
FrankC3:Lol. That you rate Fayose so highly only goes to show how incompetent Jonathan is when it comes to organising anything. Your opinion is basically that the president has run a foolish campaign and voila here comes Fayose to the rescue? APC's campaign is in disarray? Surely you jest. The APC has set the agenda for discussion and has been a more interesting topic the Jonathan and his ephemeral transformation agenda. If only you had an idea about all the crisis meetings the pdp is having because they have seen no data to indicate they have a hope of winning the election. Try getting close to some sensible politicians and you will be enlightened. Then this meaningless kerfuffle will cease. The pdp is a corpse writhing in the throes of death, stop your delusions. #change #GMB #APC |
The term opposition party simply refers the the parties that are not in government or in alliance with government. Soon the pdp will be the opposition... Nothing irregular about that. Politics is a contest of ideas and there will always be an element of opposition in a democracy. It is actually essential, to keep the government in check. #change #GMB #APC |
The APC grows stronger and stronger by the day. Jonathan has bought himself 6 weeks of hell, and all for nothing. #change #GMB #APC |
No one can portray Jonathan as clueless, like he can. So after all these years, he is just seeing the light on this boko haram insurgency? Ridiculous! #change #GMB #APC |
Plus ca change Lol #change #GMB #APC |
Kingspin:I save that part of my signature for separatist threads. Justice is giving effect to the will of the electorate. Either... Or Neither... Nor #change #GMB #APC |
barcanista:There is a basic wrong assumption here. The AC and CPC that are the strongest elements of the parties that came together to form the APC already had the power centres they revolved around and that remains essentially unchanged. A campaign organisation serves a different purpose. It exists to market the candidates and party and as such must reflect a regional spread of the most effective marketers the party has to offer for the purpose of advising and communicating effectively to all regions. There is also the fact that the various ethnicities must be accommodated. Some of the campaign personnel are indeed involved in policy formulation, but the party has separate structures for policy harmonisation and generation. If you look deeper, you will see that the bulk of NADECO elements that stood in opposition to Abacha are in the APC and it is from that caucus that most Western governors, and the party chairman come from (relationships that were reinforced by their time in exile). A salient question for you would be, why is it that all these people have found it impossible to work with Jonathan? The party chairman was and I believe is still a member of the South-South elders forum that met severally with the president to advise him and I believe there was general disappointment with at the outcome of their contributions. A wise politician gathers friends, quite unlike Jonathan who has lost significant members and diminished his party almost beyond repair. If the APC collects these decamped for its political advantage, that is realpolitik, they are simply working their advantage, but make no mistake, the tail does not wag the dog. #change #GMB #APC |
Unserious olodo. Stop begging from pillar to post to church. You are the president of Nigeria, act with some dignity, if not on your own behalf, then on ours. The motor Park tout has rejected you and your party and yet here you are... Looking ridiculous. #change #GMB #APC |
