Register at BY mafit. With N45k reg fee, You get a free Kaplan study material with two CD roms for practice.
Nobody can tell u the importance of writing the two exam as you should follow the instruction on ur preferred school's website.
But normally, writing SAT Can get you full scholarship.

You can download sat study materials from college board website, You can also use khlan academy website to prepare.
For the toefl, if you register at BY matif, you will get a free kaplan study material which is very helpful.. You can also get useful materials online but the kaplan is very broad and it covers everything.

I think the chance of admission is slim for international transfer applicant because there are very limited slots available for this type of admission, and when u consider the time u want to apply, most of if not all the slots must have been fillled up. What stops you from applying as a freshman?

There is no hard and fast Rule for which season is best to apply for..
But usually there are more funding options available during the fall semester which usually starts in August.
You should do well to read previous pages of this thread and also find out info on google too..

Just as @Lagosismyhome said, dude didn't go through transcripts. The VO already knows you are going for studies, but he may not know of much about your course, your true intentions and all! That question rephrased is simply 'hey, intending student, let's meet you'! So, with that, in less than how many seconds, your intentions, school, study outcome comes in.

So, just put in more efforts from the forum and hit again, you will win.

Start ur application to the cc from here.
When u get there, Tell ur university to release ur SEVIS record to the College. If they agree, Then its just to resume at the college. This situation is tricky tho as many universities WILL NOT release ur sevis until u spend up to a semester with them. So u might want to check their transfer policy to be sure..
NB: You have to start the transfer within 30 days of arrival in the US.

Thanks for candid opinion on this , moreover does conditional admission guarantees VISA? Or let me put it this way does VOs give visa to students with conditional admission ? Did you have same conditional admission? Because you talked about foundation classes as well

before getting worried about wether VOs grant visa or not, wait and recieve ur i20 to know what exactly will be stated on the course of study column. Maybe they said foundation course on ur admission letter, they may not state it on the i20 so the VO wont even know. So just get the i20 and check the course of study.
No I dont have conditional admission, I just googled about "post baccalaureate students"

The admission you have there is conditional.. Well I dont know how VOs handle this type.. best to wait for the gurus to weigh in on this.

but from the very first interview, u were told its not a standard school.. Shouldn't have gone 3 more times. Well its good u changed school.

Straight to my question, I have attended VISA interview 4 times between last year and this year, F1 visa to be precise but VOs keep telling the school that gave me admission is not a standard school and people who choose that school don't actually go to school, which is against my own motive, I actually wanted to go to school and study but then in order not to waste my time I applied to another school in Kentucky and my admission. Was granted yesterday waiting for my i20 to be shipped all necessary fee settled, here is my question ? On that admission letter I was told I have been accepted for masters in business administration but as a post baccalaureate student, and that I have to do foundation courses ? Please what does that word means and hope this wouldn't affect my chance of getting visa in next interview ? As I guess I already demonstrated my will to attend school and have my MBA and be back to this country immediately am done I have better opportunities waiting behind for me here. And would it be stated on my i20 as well that am a post baccalaureate student as for now? Honest answers without abuse would be welcomed

The reason for the foundation course is because u are not admissible to the MBA programme yet so u need those foundation courses before u can be enrolled for the MBA programme.

No.. It is not out of place to ask for a fee waiver. Just say it politely. If they will waive it they will inform you. It has nothing to do with your profile.

I graduated from uniben were I studied theatre art 2015 already served finished service last year 2016.
now I applied to a community college I also sent my sponsors bank statement original copy alongside my transcript and my application form through dhl ,dhl sent it to a wrong school after 3weeks the school didn't get it, my Frend went in search for it and found it in anoda school (tank God) he den took it to the school. my admission to the school is guaranteed.
I have bin studying peoples testimonies and visa denial conversation between applicants and VO and I have learnt alot
my questions are -:
1)Bin that I submitted the original bank statement to the school can I take the photocopy to the embassy?
2)wat if am asked by the vo whom am going to be staying with knowing that my school doesn't provide accomodation for international student wat wud be my response
3)wat if am asked why I didn't apply for a masters program instead of an associate degree in a community college bin dat am a bsc holder Abeg Wetin I go answer

1) You are allowed to bring ONLY original documents to embassy.
3) Bsc to CC na red flag. Why will u want to spend thousands of dollars to get a certificate inferior to the one you already possess?

. My friend hurriedly booked the appointment the last day the sevis was to expired. Initially he was admitted into a particular school last year,but couldn't continue with the process due to some reasons and the admission was deferred, when he contacted the uni for another i20 this year,the school requested for upfront payment of $3,000 which he couldn't afford at that time due to FX problem. So he had to apply to another school and the new school is yet to send the i20 till now. He booked interview on the last date shown on the website because he doesn't want to lose the sevis fee and was optimistic that the school would have sent the i20 before the appointment date. Till now he's yet to get the i20

in this case one has to be forfeited. So ur frnd will choose between SEVIS fee or VISA fee. The only reasonable thing to do here is let the former sevis expire, Pay a new one, and reschedule the interview to accommodate the delivery of the i20. Reschedule well in advance this time.

Why schedule for an interview without i20? You don't have i20, no sevis fee.. But u booked interview for friday? This one pass me.

Please, what is the process like if someone is helping you pay your SEVIS fee?.

You go to fmjfee.com and fill an online form with your I-20 as a guide.
After you submit the form, a coupon number will be generated, and you will be able to print the confirmation page.
you give this coupon number or confirmation page to whom ever wants to pay it for you.
He goes to western union in the US and makes payment.
Your payment status will change to paid and you will be able to print out the electronic generated receipt which you will take to the embassy as proof of payment.
This is only for western union payment. Hope it helps.
