You have nothing to worry about. You might get your sms this night or your status on the site might change before or by tomorrow. 24th is quite distant enough for you to meet up. And even if you happen to miss the first two days of orientation, its no biggie.

Tjluv: Finally, picked up my passport today with a 2years visa,all Glory be to the most high, and thanks to all those who contributed in one way or the other.

Tjluv: Thank you. I just spoke with them and they said it has been processed and is currently in transit to Lagos. Fingers crossed.

Tjluv: Today is the 18th working day since I submitted my visa application, no sms yet and the tracker still shows that my application has been forwarded to BHC. Can someone please help with any number to call? Thanks.

teeebabie: Tankus .. Ermm bt I was told to apply on the 14th, dts fri.. And dt I shuld pay in a token 2moro and print out on fri.. I lodged d money in d bank on d 16th August
And I v asked on ds forum today and someone else and d advise I get b say make I wait til 14th

My start date is 24th sept
Bt oct 8 was written on my cas as late arrival policy
But I mailed the sch 4an extension beyond their late policy arrival and d reply somtin like ds

Dear student, u av up to Oct 22 to enroll, if you have a problem beyond ds pls let us know

I further requested 4an official letter to ds effect and was replied
dt I don't need one , that the ukba knows that the latest arrival date is 22nd Oct
At ds point, what else do I need 2do b4 I submit my application.....

steph7: Yaay!! Just got my visa bY courier, it took 24 hours, the delay got me thinking whether I had been banned etc, but to the glory of God I have my visa!!and yes I have already started packing!
