BizBloke: [color=#000033]Hi, CharlesNerd.Ok |
Hi Bizbloke, Kindly add the cost of shipping to my base and let me know ASAP so I can make the deposit at the bank before close of business today. Also, let me know when I should expect to receive the item. Waiting......... |
Hi Bizbloke, Sent an e-mail to your support team,Kindly follow up. Thank you. |
Funny scenes. Another contractor is about to rake in millions ,if not billions to deploy a fragile toy in the name of surveillance drone. I'd rather the govt spend the money to deploy high resolution solar powered wireless CCTV sytems than spend money on this. |
BizBloke: [color=#000033]Hi, CharlesNerd.19th looks a bit far,but I'd wait and hope it arrives before then. Thanks |
BizBloke: [color=#000033]Hi, CharlesNerd.Thanks. I meant the ETA to Nigeria not to your US office. |
Any update on my request for ETA? |
BizBloke: [color=#000033]Hi, CharlesNerd.Ok ,expecting your feedback. |
BizBloke: [color=#000033]Hi, CharlesNerd. Thanks for the info. Were you able to get the ETA? |
BizBloke: [color=#000033]Well, I had to delete it after I got an email confirmation that the console has been secured. It wouldn't be charitable to leave a negative review after the issue has been attended to.However,I would like to add even though you have mentioned it ,you need to improve your communication or rather reduce the time between a request and a response cos online shopping is time based and if you don't act swiftly on a customers request and the item of interest goes out of stock, you might have to grapple with the issue of refunds. Just a question, now the item has been secured, what's the ETA to Nigeria?.Can I track the shipment? Thank you. |

My little experience as a stock market investor.. -Patience is key, there are endless opportunities in the market.A successful investor is like a trained sniper, hanging on patiently with his gun, waiting for his/her target, devoid of emotions and in no hurry to vacate his shooting position. -When you want to gamble on a stock without fundamentals and no prospects of dividend, limit your exposure to at most 10% of your total portfolio.I took a gamble on a particular stock ,I knew the company had no good track record ;to be candid, they have never paid dividend since incorporation.Due to recent activities within and around the company,I perceived the company could be a company for the future,I took a position ,a gamble so to speak ,but limited to 10% of my portfolio.Today, I have no regrets,I have realized 50% on my investment on paper. Its a gamble,it could have gone the other way ,as there was no compelling fundamental behind my investment. But,now I am winning. -When you are convinced after due diligence that a particular stock has better prospects and growth potential,it wouldn't hurt to invest 60-70% of your entire portfolio in there. I call it investing with guts.Sometimes it pays off to invest confidently in comparison to spreading your investments over several stocks in the hope of diversification. -Never enter a fast moving train, you might be crushed.Never touch a stock when it is hot,you might get burned. So many recent instances comes to mind. -Always know when to sell if you are in for the short term ;whatever goes up must come down.I once bought a stock at N25 ,hoping it would get to N33,it got to N32 ,but I was patiently waiting for N33,it never got there.I finally sold at N27. -Don't not invest in a company based on previous history, brand name or sentiments, always inquire how they are surviving today and how they plan to continue in business tomorrow. One of my early investments as a student was the sum of N50,000 ,which was invested in a bank stock. The bank in question opened my very first bank account and offered me a five year monetized scholarship for my university education.Since I had adequate financial support from my family, had another scholarship and little need for the money,I invested the first N50,000 in the bank stock. The bank went under on Sanusi's ascension to the throne,my investment too.I was sentimental,I wanted to give back to the bank that gave me through investing in its stocks. -Always keep a healthy amount of cash in stock,a good opportunity might come along suddenly but you might have no cash to invest. Some few months ago,I saw a banking stock trading at an attractive price with huge upside,I was able to buy a little, but I wish I had bought more if I had extra cash. -Cheap or penny stocks are not always "cheap". Sometime as a university student,I bought 5,000 units of a bank stock during its public offer at N8 ; it was apparently the cheapest of its banking peers at that time.My N40,000 would amount to little units if I had gone for the big banks.I settled for quantity, but today the stock is trading at over N2 and all my dividends and bonus shares received so far does not translate to over 7% return on my investment, after 7 years!!.Investing in the big reliable banks would have yielded better results.I chose the penny stock. -Do not deprive yourself of life goodies because you want to invest, you might end up spending all the money earned taking care of yourself at a latter stage.Try and enjoy life and invest at the same time,it can be done. -Always check up your investments, your investment is your business and you don't leave it unattended. If I had checked up on my investments as a student,I would have known when to sell or hold. But I trusted the system, the financial system in 2008 wiped away most of my university investments. -If you have done your due diligence, invested in a stock, but at some point, prices drop below your entry price,do not be discouraged,it is just an opportunity to increase your holding if you have cash. -Lastly,nothing beats investing in a consistent dividend paying company.I am a big fan of dividends.Dividends are my 14th,15th and 16th month salary .I am eagerly looking forward to a day when it becomes my 1st to 12th month salary. . I plan to retire quite early and enjoy my life to the fullest! |
Thank you all for the replies. From user reviews I read, paying for WES evaluation service is the easiest of the lot;complaints of people waiting for 5months before their review could be completed, missing documents, poor translation, needless delays and to crown it all, poor customer service. Well,we have to use WES hoping our experience turns good. |
My brother intends to apply to seven (7) US universities for his postgraduate education. The cost of each transcript from his school is about N40,000 which sums up to N280,000. we thought of using WES but after reading numerous reviews of poor customer service, needless delays and poor document management,it looks like using the service might be counter-productive. Is there any other acceptable means to send these transcripts without spending the above amount? |
Redoil: calculate the difference btw the right issue price and the floor price b4 you make any moveThe difference is N0.6 based on today's closing price. But I intend to buy a lot through rights issue to get a better bargain, based on current price differential and also hedge against price drop after the rights issue. So back to my question,is it permissible to go above the limits of my entitlement? |
I intend to invest in the upcoming diamond bank rights issue, even though I have meager units currently. Would I be permitted to buy at least 50x of my current holding? or should I take the rights due to me and buy the rest on the trading floor? |
oscar_XXX: I need suggestions on a cheap designer perfume that last quite long with good fragrance. Price range 1k to 2k.. pls response asap.Try America perfume. It comes in a 25ml or 50ml (not so sure right now) cylindrical container,in a pack decorated with american flag and the statue of liberty. Very rich, unique, decent and moderately priced. |
fyneboi79: I think its Bvalgari •̸№t bulgariDon't correct someone when you are not sure! She is right, its called Bulgari. But the trademark or label is Bvgalri, you even spelt it wrongly! The original Bvgalri Aqua marine (100ml) costs about N13,000 - N15,000 in the nigerian market. However, there are plenty of fakes in the market right now, which sells between N8,000 - N9,000 depending on where you are shopping from. The best bet is to shop abroad, or buy from a few reputable fragrance shops, like the ones at the departures of Lagos international airport. |
tchidi: Guy beht why na?! Our school de try fa oº°˚!!I didn't used the words in the exact sense,I was only trying to echo the prevalent sentiments you find on nairaland with regards to Nigerian schools and states. So chill, your school is cool,at least the OP is a testament to that! ![]() |
Wow!Wow!Wow! This is a product of a purely refined engineering mind- patient, detailed, scientific and good command of english language, which is rather rare for scientists/engineers. What do I have to say of your ability to improvise?..awesome!. Going through your thread from beginning to end,I could see the interplay between various arms of engineering. Metallurgy and materials ----You have a good grasp of intrinsic properties of materials, hence your ability to make informed choices on the exact type of material to use. Electrical---When you spoke about mosfet and heat sink,it was pretty obvious you knew your stuff! Mechanical---After I read the article where you mentioned losses and efficiency,I had no doubt. What do I have to say about your comments on redundancy and safety?,means you know that safety is the first consideration when it comes to aviation! I have never been this impressed by a Nigerian graduate, let alone an undergraduate,in a supposed "mushroom" university ,in a "backward" state!. The sky is your starting point, you are on the path to greatness,if you keep this up. I have more to say,but I can't continue....keep it up and thanks for making my day! |
With the current battery life of most mobile phones, this would be a huge challenge...except there would be a quadruple improvement by 2020. |
JideTheBlogger: That's why I LOVE GTBank. ....Which GTBank are you talking about? GTBank is much worse, very poor customer service, simple ATM wrongful debit on their own ATM takes almost a month to be reversed. All Nigerian banks are the same, the only place where you get speedy customer service are banks where you have established a solid banking relationship based on the figures in your bank account. @OP,please get a lawyer and I hope you recover your money pretty soon. |
Shut up Emeka Ojukwu! You didnt resign because you were tired of the government, you were eased off cos you were indicted for embezzlement of funds and the governor did not want to throw it open and embarrass the Ojukwu family. |
Billyonaire: I call it stupidity! Your eye should always be on the Goal and Gold irrespective of any Chinese Distraction. We have medics on the field, and their job includes hydrating the dehydrated. I do not see this as anything worth commendation but something worth condemnation. Eyes must always be on Goal and Gold, no distractions whatsoever should take anyone from focus! Africa needs reorientation on the mechanisms of winning! You win first, before doing Charity! You sound like a ruthless businessman..Life is not all about winning anyway... |
It took almost ages for the website to load! |
Udeme is the numero uno!.There is really something about that advert, you never get tired of it. |
Lies..and there's still scarcity in port-harcourt and environs. |
Hmmmmm...true love.happens once in a blue moon...Fate happened on their respective spouses, kept them single and brought them back to the village on the same day.Sometimes, the universe conspires to make things happen in favor of some people, this is a typical case. |
A robber with a conscience...what a paradox..he deserves an award. |
Why would someone want to allot the glory due to the boys who worked hard on the field to a pastor whose stock-in-trade is to predict matches a day after the match has been played? The boys worked hard on the field, played well and won the match......... Pastor, please tell the nation,"will Jonathan win 2015 elections?",or is your power of prediction restricted to football matches only?.....Nigerians sha... |
If the prospect of a win or loss lies with Mikel, then the game is as good as lost. Comparing both midfielders, -Mikel is poor offensively while Yaya toure is a complete box to box midfielder. - Mikel can't score penalties while Yaya Toure is a proven goalscorer. - Mikel slows down the pace of the game while Yaya Toure is a catalyst. On this premise, its looking pretty obvious that Nigeria might loose the match. |
That was a smart political move. She is eyeing the next presidential election and needs time to prepare and mobilise ground support. Also, serving for another term in Obamas cabinet might spell doom for her presidential ambition if Obama does not do well in his second term;she would be labelled as a product of a failed administration who has nothing new to offer. As a secretary of state, she has had to travel so much under tight schedules and being a woman that she is,she needs some time to recuperate and also look after her family, the fear of Monica is the beginning of wisdom. |
.I am eagerly looking forward to a day when it becomes my 1st to 12th month salary.
