Politics › Re: $1 Billion ECA, Give Me Ekiti Share To Fight HUNGER Haram; FAYOSE by CharleyBright(m): 7:23am On Dec 20, 2017
Lol.
Fayose is a real thorn in the flesh of Buhari"s govt. One man opposition riot.
But am certain that by the time Fayose's tenure elapse and he ceases to enjoy immunity, this Buhari govt's attack dog - ( the EFCC) will come barking ferociously at Fayose.
Politics › Re: Exposed - Suspicious And FRIVOLOUS Items In 2018 Budget By Budgit by CharleyBright(m): 7:03pm On Dec 18, 2017
I just had dinner and am reading these massive looting of our treasury and am suddenly having indigestion.

N1.14 billion for Cleaning and Fumigation for Security Adviser, are you kidding mehuh
I bet he wants to Fumigate Boko Haram with that sort of Amount for fumigation.
Who knows how many billions of Naira was spent on fumigating Buharis office recently if the office of the security adviser is costing this much.

Fumigation has become a source of looting by this govt.

Silly. Right?
Politics › Re: Group Warns UK, US To Stop Interfering In Matters That Concerns Nigeria by CharleyBright(m): 5:37pm On Dec 18, 2017
The yeye group should first of all tell Buhari to also stop meddling with issues of other countries.

For their information, UK and the US spends Millions of Dollars yearly in Donor funds and Financial Aids to support the Nigerian government and the groups are asking the US and UK to stop interfering?
No be where person invest wey him go try to always put eye?
The interference will stop when Nigeria stop begging the US and UK for Aids and Grants.

Politics › Re: Charly Boy: "Any Politician Or Pastor That Owns A Private Jet Is A Bastard" by CharleyBright(m): 7:27pm On Dec 13, 2017
Harmored:
I'm sorry sir but you sound really stupid, the whole point of what you're saying now is a pastor must not be rich uhhn? If dangote becomes a pastor today you will say he his spending church money, I don't know why people have this believe because a person is a pastor you expect him to wear rag
You know what?
My parents thought me not to ever resort to abuse or insults when engaged in any discourse because Sane and intellectual minds put forward their argument to make a case but fools resort to abuse and insults to hide their stupidity.
Did your parents teach you that much?
If they did, you are very unreasonable not to take good counsel. Poor you!!

And to answer your question:
Firstly, Are you comparing Pastors with Dangote? Are they competing with Dangote in flying Private jets?
Pastors aren't Dangote and the comparison is needless. Dangote is doing businesses that you and I can see as yielding profitable income. Pastors aren't engaged in businesses yielding income, Unless you mean to tell me the Church is the business the pastors are doing that makes you compare Pastors with Dangote.
Finally, learn to make plausible arguments to justify your stance and not just abuse and insult people who put forward concrete and valid points.

clevvermind:
So it now a sin for pastors to own private jet? Nonsense.
Why are we too quick to defend what is wrong?
Is it the Pastor's money that is used to fuel and maintain the Private Jet?
Is the Pastor paying the millions of Naira demurrage for the Private jet from his pocket?
Can you swear the pastors are paying these monies from their pockets? If they are, they can as well show us the source of income and the tax clearance for the proceeds.
Can't the Pastors fly even Business Class?
Must they live ostensible lives and use church monies to maintain and service their luxurious lifestyles?
Christ admonish us Christians to live a Moderate (Modest) life. Owing and maintaining a private jet is far from a moderate life.
The bible says it will be easier for a Carmel to enter the eye of the needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
It is either the bible is lying about that OR most of these pastors living a "Larger than life" lifestyle will not get anywhere near Heaven.

[quote author=Ratello post=63176855]You are an egghead and a deep-sighted analyst. I purposely use that caption "Give Atiku A Chance" for a reason because Nigeria is not prone to fielding her best in governance and to me Atiku is in a different class from the old horses we have paraded in time past at least judge him by his achievements in career and politics the same way Trump was judged by Americans. I know Buhari can never become the next President but Atuku? Let's give him that chance based on his proven track records.

For The Records:
For now Atiku is more preferred than Buhari because if Buhari comes again we are dead as a nation can't you all see that the highest budget in history is only good for paying salaries? The

Am not sure I like the egg- head part. Too frosty for a sane people. Am sane, I don't know if you are?
Now, Don't you think it would be niicer you put forward your case without resorting to abuses and name calling?
I can't possibly remember using any abusive words in my comment.
You either agree with my comment or you don't by putting up a more acceptable and valid point.
That's what makes a matured discourse.
Abuses and insults are obvious signs of immaturity and deprave mind. Don't exhibit these.

On a Normal day, I would have walked pass and not bother with this thread, but for the Caption.- which says " Give Atiku chance as we gave Buhari".

Am curious to ask - So Nigerians should give Atiku a chance merely because they gave Buhari one??
Is Nigeria's Top job that cheap?
Fine, we gave Buhari a chance, but he turned out to be an incompetent failure that doesn't know his left hand from his right leg., so we should try another in his like?
Am not against Atiku, but We Nigerians are not going to simply "give him a chance" because we be Buhari.
The Nigerian Presidency isn't a Trial and Error game.
Atiku must prove he has what it takes to deliver( For now, I don't think he has anything but rants).
While Buhari has failed on his promises and we want him out, Nigerians are not going to push Atiku into Aso Rock just like that.
Atiku must convince Nigerians what hr intends to do with timelines and acceptance that he has failed if he doesn't meet set timelines.
We are tired and sick of all these silly promises from Politicians seeking Power and Fame.
Politics › Re: 2019 Election: I’m Shocked That PDP Wants To Come Back To Power – Buhari by CharleyBright(m): 8:03am On Dec 09, 2017
Am equally shocked that Buhari wants to contest for 2019 after under performing.
Corruption that he accused PDP of is thriving big time under his govt and being perpetuated by his very own boys.
Pls show me a single person that has been thrown into jail since his inception despite the numerous corruption cases in his govt.
I don't support PDP, but if they can kick Buhari out I don't care.
PDP and Jonathan failed to perform, they were kicked out..
APC and Buhari has failed to perform, they must be kicked out.
And if PDP comes back, and fail to oerfom, they must be kicked out.

Tell another lie biko..

Yoruba people still hide Igbos from Hausas till tomorrow during fights and riots.

Or you think they can't differentiate an Awolowo from Azikwe. Keep deceiving yourself.
Be cautious to speak on issues you don't know much about.
I lived 5 years in KANO. I have seen some of these riots. And I must tell you, they are not something to joke about. A typical KANO street urchin - Almajiri especially the ones high in drug can't differentiate between an IBO or a Yoruba man. The ones that can even differentiate don't give a damn so long you are not a Northerner. You get the same treatment as the IBO. Even the Yoruba Muslims are not spared.
When these rioting starts, both Yoruba and IBO all run for cover to Sabon gari which has always been a fortress for non indigenes.
The riot tines in KANO are dangerous times for all southerner whether Ibo , Yoruba and even non Nigerians that don't speak Hausa.
Politics › Re: Expect Sectarian Riots After Friday Prayers In The North Over Trump/jerusalem by CharleyBright(m): 8:56am On Dec 08, 2017
Is it not their way? Is it not in their blood?
Let them go and Riot and kill the ones that Boko Haram has killed and remained.
A society that operates a system that creates a ready made battalions of street urchins ready to foment trouble and kill over the issues that concerns them and the ones that don't concerns them.
I served as a corp member and lived 3 yes after my service - survived 2 deadly riots and witnessed hundreds of southerners and non indigenes being massacred in the streets of KANO for no reason at all.

The government and elites of KANO should call their people to order and also address some of their systems that has created more problems than it has solved.

Thank God no live was lost.
But like I often say, No accident happens without the carelessness of the driver.
Either due to loss of concentration or the driver was not paying attention to detailed functioning of the car Or Both.
Contrary to what is generally perceived that most accidents are caused by over speeding, over 60% accidents are caused by loss of concentrations.- People have driven between 140- 180km/h and gotten to their destinations safely, while people have driven below 100 and gotten fatal accidents and died.

When behind the wheels, your Life is in your hands - Keep safe!¡

Wait a minute, so seriously Buhari. intends to contest in 2019?
What has Buhari got to offer Nigerians?
wha campaign narratives will sell to Nigerians this time around?
Is it to fight corruption? - The corruption that has increased since his govt came into power. The corruption that is right under his nose and he is pretending not to see?
Is it to improve the economy and make N100 equal $1 like he lied to us earlier, and ended up killing the economy and making the naira far weaker than the dollar?
Is he going to tell Nigerians he wants to tackle insecurity snd insurgency? The security he has made worse by allowing herdsmen license to destroy, kill, raze and rape all over the country? Is he going to tell Nigerians Book Haram is no more?
Is Buhari going to tell Nigerians how he intends to run an accountable govt? And he has refused to tell Nigerians how much he wasted away as hospital bill in London. Nigerian money spent and not accounted for. Or doesn't Buhari know that a Public officer is Corrupt if he cannot account for public money he spent?
I ask you again, What has your Buhari got to offer Nigerians?
Is it the yeyw daily school meals in nylon bags he is dishing out to you Northern almajiris all he has to offer?
You and your northern Almajiris can see him as your demi god and support him, who cares. Your mediocre North can continue to support incompetence and mediocrity for pitiable meals.
Come 2019, we are kicking him out just as we kicked Jonathan out in 2015.
Nigerians are no fools, You have the chance to be President and you fail to deliver, we kick you out.
Buhari has under performed, we are going to. kick him out.
Thank God Tinubu has told him no automatic ticket for him. You can read the handwriting on the wall.

She committed a crime and deserves to be punished.. That's understandable.
But what I don't understand is why she must be stripped naked.

Men who crave their wanton sexual desires will go any extent to fulfill it by stripping a woman naked.
Punish her for her crime but leave her Nudity
Never can that happen in Civilised climes.
Such can be punishable as crime to human dignity.

Yeah. Calabar started Carnival in Nigeria.
Don't confuse Festival with Carnival. they are not same.
There have always been festivals which were done by various states - eg - the Osun Festival, Argungun Fishing Festival, etc, but there weren't Carnivals until Donald Duke established the Calabar Carnival.
Even though it has lost some of its shines due to passiveness by state govts that took over from Donald Duke, but Calabar Carnival is still uniquely different and still stands out from all other state carnivals that were established after it.
Attend the Carnival this December and see the difference
