adconline: It's the Naija mentality of everything is possible that makes u to think that everything is DOABLE.. It has gone from I can't find the thread where VO tackled this to ask the VO. Show us your evidence of site supporting your argument! Don't worry I know u can't do it, because it's the Naija in u to argument facts with nothing instead of facts with facts. you provided NL with a link an SSCE holder designed and you're bragging yet with it? ADVICE: You don't argue on what you dont have experience full bout. You posted a trash and kept shouting that it is an 'official link'. Even justwise supported your trash. Which kind lie be this? What a shame on the travel section. SMH. |

adconline: We can argue all u want, but it's also on US embassy site -2nd I posted which states that you can change name with court affidavit. The second website offers you honest " disclaimer", but information is still legit, while you still running on no information. oga, make I hear word. where you for see that link?...lmao... No matter where you meet a Nigerian man, you'll always see the trait of that Nigerianess in him. Please, sit down and learn from those who have passed through it rather than displaying unhealthy arguments. You can ask the VO on the immigration thread to clarify this issue. |

Even if you want to elope as its all over your profile, don't make it obvious to the VO. he'll be having his interview in few weeks. |

quote author=charzyh2 post=27097503] bro, make sure you pack every document 'packable'. Get a letter from your school stating that your school waives GRE. When asked how many schools you applied to, just say 4. The VO will ask you to mention them. So, memorize them wella. Please, make sure those schools are not in the same state. VO may ask how many gave you admission, tell them 3 gave you adm. out 4. Be ready to convince the VO why you prefer your chosen school to the others. In conclusion, post your likely questions and answers here so it can be addressed by the ogas here. Never! Moreover, I thought you claim gre is waived by your school. Why not get a letter to back that up? |

Christianity Etc › Re: A Question For The Atheists by charzyh2: 10:41pm On Oct 07, 2014 |
Seun: While this describes most of the atheists who are active on this section, most atheists are not like that. Most atheists just ignore religious issues.
Which God specifically? The Christian God? The Muslim God? African gods and goddesses? The Lord of Light from Game of Thrones? If you believe that there's only one God, then you are an atheist relative to all other Gods/gods and the same questions apply to you too. Does the fact that you don't believe in the Lord of Light or Allah for whatever reason rule out the possibility of their existence and power or influence?
Just because something is possible doesn't mean it is worth spending time on. It's "possible" that father Xmas is real and lives in the north pole, but if you met an adult who truly believed that Father Xmas is real and sent 10% or his/her income to the north pole, what would you say?
Atheists in some countries fight against the imposition of religious practices on people who don't believe in the religions. That's all they fight. are you an atheist? |

Jakay: Thanks for your very informative post. I'll actually appreciate some clarification on something. I work with a government agency and i just got admission to study an advanced diploma program which is very relevant to my current job. All though my salary is not very high and my bank statement is not strong enough, i have been able to raise some money to be able to pay my tuition and accommodation fees in full (i intend to pay in full for the entire program before applying for visa since they are both refundable), and my brother has agreed to support me with the living costs while in Canada (He has a strong bank statement). What do you think would be my chances of securing a visa? next time just quote the first two lines or mention his name. Please, modify the post. |

greggy: @tzetzefly and every other person that can be of help here.
I wandered into this thread while searching for some info and i must commend what u re doing here. I need your advice on something bothering me about my visa application. I applied for a conference in Washington DC and my appointment is schedule for friday 10th 7am. What bothers me is that I was processing a student visa last year but aborted it. During that time, i visited the embassy on a notary appointment because the school i applied for stated that my sponsor's form must be notarized at the US consulate but however, i couldn't get that done because they demanded that my uncle must sign in the presence of the consular before they notarize it and i left . I couldn't get it done because my uncle was out of town and had to abort the school process. Now my question is this, will this pop up in their system even if i never did biometrics or attended any interview. My conference is for 9days and am been sponsored by my boss. I work in the office of the senior special assistant to the gov.
pls advise i guess this answer by Phema can help: Phema: ^^^ That shouldn't be a problem. I doubt it will pop up. And even if it does, you just briefly explain what happened.
Goodluck in your interview. |
