This is a main road in Umuahia. The route from Ubakala to Gate, a very busy road very close to UBA.

The Nigerian Civil Defense has blocked one lane since May 2021, during the time of unknown gunmen. You can see the barricades there in the video; they are now using a full main road to park their vehicles and for discussions.

Vehicles are using one lane and it is causing a lot of traffic congestion. People who attempt to cross the other lane with their cars are severely punished. Don't be surprised, they also have their sentry post in front of their base there but have resorted to blocking a full lane since May 2021 down till today.

We call on the FG and the govt of Abia State to look into this matter.
