Was just going through nairaland and i came across your post,my grandad has a rolls royce phantom circa
1959,he was the former ooni of ife(a town in nigeria)and an MBE.The car is sitting in a barn in ife,not been driven in the last 30 years.Its a big family and i cant claim to have a right to dispose of it but i am sure the family would be willing to sell if given a right price.You can make enquiries at rolls royce to validate the authencity of this and the model of the car.Rumour has it that it was built to order.cheers

I am not a Fashola or Tinubu supportter but my comment is about our penchant for hearsay and chinese whispering.For a fact i know that the oriental hotel is owned by the chinese guys that own WEMPCO in Ikeja who are more connected in the Federal Govt and state govt levels than u can imagine .

no point going to Ibadan that night as the road is now very bad and pretty unsafe at night,u can get a car hire from avis to take you anywhere in Lagos,they are very safe and proffesional and their desk is just outside the baggage claim area.if u are ready to spend some money,u can arrange them to dropu off at ibadan the next morning,u can google avis nigeria to get an idea of cost>i only use them from the mma to ikeja and it costs about 4k.there are many hoel options in the ikeja area but airport hotel is ok and affordable.
