When last did FBI, Interpol or any of their yeye agency paraded any White for their crime on Africa soil. Millions of Barrel of crude oil continuing to leave our shore to their land, Trillions of stolen money in their various bank and yet they are doing nothing and when they claimed they are helping they will release 1 out of 10. Abacha loot is a clear example. I am not supporting SCAM but Oyinbo are not saint too.

I'm 20yrs old as of now. I've been told that I'm a bit handsome by young and older women as well and by some guys. I had a good life back at my hometown where looks had little importance.

I now live with my parents in Anambra state and it seems that a lot of guys express hate for no apparent reason. Almost 70-80% of girls give me looks and I had experiences of girls trying to take pictures of me. I moved here as part of helping my mum in growing her business, but I feel that a lot of young people are more interested in dating than anything else.

Some girls act downright rude without looking at my face. I feel so lonely, and this has contributed a lot to my introvert nature of life which for some time now am trying to put to an end, no matter how simple I dress some people seem intimidated by me. Friends have being avoiding me for no actual reason, especially when they are about to going to a social gathering like party, ceremony's and all sorts, because I think that is where I can be able to explore the world and make friends some kind of being social to that is exactly what ave wanted all my life.

Please no insult and mind you that this thread is not to seek attention of whose so ever but just to spit out my daily pains with nairanders and seek solution's of how to present my self more than physical appearance to people, because they were unable to see the good aspect of me.

Plzz romancelanders how can I overcome feeling alone, avoid stereotypes of friends and (probably make real friends and build a social circle herehuh

Mind you that this is no #attention seeking# thread as some will fink right now, but is just a true life packaging of just a growing up guy.......

AwesomelyMade:
Ok I have known her for sometime now. I met her on my way to work, we got talking and exchanged contacts. She calls to find out if I have eaten, and I am like 'yes'. '

What did you eat' I ate rice. This she tries to find out everyday until she asked to see and taste the rice I prepared at home.

I understood she was looking for a way to visit. Finally she visited, didn't want hear anything about work or even the rice she wanted to see, but to watch some stuff on my laptop. She calls me to sit beside her. I did! She chuckles and places head on my shoulder, I tried to offer her something but she refuses. I observed that she drew closer at each chuckle

Before I could say jack robinson, she was all touchy and started kissing. I wish I could upload the pix of my mouth, she bit my lips and apologized. Why i asked?

She said she couldn't control herself. She literally asked me to have sex with her and I refused on the grounds I just can't.

'I am a woman for crying out loud' she pleaded, 'please do it'.

'No I can't' I told her.
She gets angry and leaves. I really don't know what to do now.

CrimeMother Refuses To Break In2 BMW To Rescue 3yr Old Son Trapped In The Car Because by chaxking(op): 7:58am On Jul 15, 2015
A woman in China refused to smash the window of her BMW to rescue her trapped toddler son from the stifling heat because she didn’t want to damage the luxury car.
According to Daily Mirror, large crowds gathered around the vehicle after hearing the cries of the helpless three-year-old infant inside the vehicle in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, where temperatures have recently been around 32C.

The boy was clawing at the car window but the mother was stood next to the vehicle doing nothing to help..
A witness said passers-by and even firefighters urged her to let them break the window and save the boy, but she insisted on waiting for a locksmith to arrive and unlock the door..
But when the boy began to deteriorate, the firefighters ignored the mother and smashed the window to rescue the
youngster.
A firefighter told Zhejiang Online:

“It is very dangerous to leave kids inside car, especially in such heat. The temperature inside the car can soar in very short time and threaten the child’s life,”
And I thought it was only in nigeria that luxury is more valuable than human life.

LiteratureRe: Which Book Are You Currently Reading? Share Some Thoughts! by chaxking(m): 8:10pm On Jul 14, 2015
I'm currently reading 48 laws of power and I'm on law40, my best law is not conceal ur intentions. It's interesting
dearpreye:
We've been repeatedly told that readers are leaders. Also, that he who doesn't read has a very little advantage over the one that cannot read. To read is to learn and grow. We won't stay long enough to experience all life has to offer. We need to read to learn from the lessons and experiences of others.

It's very saddening that in this age, despite the overwhelming abundance of information, a lot of us don't really study.

All the information we need to succeed in life has been written. Be it on money, marriage, health, business, family, success itself, religion. Name it. It's been written.

I'm currently reading THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED, By Scott Peck. It's being an awesome read. The author talked on pleasure, suffering, discipline, delayed gratification, child training and religion.

I'll talk briefly on self gratification. It's the ability to forego today's even legitimate pleasure for tomorrow's gain. Without it, wealth, health and joy will elude the individual. No one can truly succeed without this vital ingredient of life. To delay gratification is to prioritise. To delay gratification is to always look at the bigger picture.

The future is hardly far away. It comes pretty quiver than we can imagine. Time hasn't waited for anyone. If we must live a happier tomorrow, we must be mature and brave enough to delay gratification. I'll encourage as many as possible to get a copy of this great book and travel in the mind of the author.

So, let's see which book you're currently reading. Any book. And don't forget to drop a line or two from it. Thanks.

Lalasticlala and Ishilove, please let's do justice to this thread. Readers are leaders.

CrimeTeenager Who Was Raped In Abia State Commits Suicide (see Photo) by chaxking(op): 9:45pm On Jul 12, 2015
This 14 year old girl named Chiawolam Comfort Umeh committed suicide on July 7th after she was gruesomely gang-raped by 3 men on June 28th at Iyienyi Village, near Okwoyi Community, in Isieke, Ibeku, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State. Chiawolam was a virgin before she was defiled by the vile men. Read the full report after the cut.

Chiawolam, who was among students who sat for the Junior Secondary School education (JSS) examination recently from Isieke Model Community High School, was reported to have dashed into the bush at the back of the family house with her mother’s head tie, climbed on top of a guava tree and hung herself two days after she was raped by the three beastly boys. The rape incident happened on Sunday, June 28, 2015, while she hung herself on Tuesday morning, July 7, 2015.

Chiawolam’s father, Mr Umeh said that early in the morning that Tuesday, her mother called her to find out how she was raped and she complained that she was having pains all over her body. The mother told her to endure till they come back from the police station that morning, but unknown to them, the deceased had another plan.

“She took her jacket and what we later discovered was a scarf and left, warning that nobody should mention her name. We thought she was going to the toilet,” the distraught father said.
The members of Umeh family, who are natives of Amaeke Abam in Ohafia LGA, have been residing in Inyienyi village, where they acquired land and built a house.
A family source disclosed that Comfort had told her mother earlier that she would not be able to stay alive to behold the faces of those who defiled her, but the mother did not understand what she meant.
It was her deafening cry while struggling between life and death on top of the tree that drew people’s attention to the bush. They then rushed to the scene to discover that her tongue had already protruded out of her mouth showing that she had given up the ghost.
Comfort’s mother, Mrs Ekenna Umeh, a prophetess who runs a prayer ministry in her home said that the deceased would have clocked 15 years in October this year.
She said that her daughter did not like having any affair with boys as she swore that she would keep her virginity for her husband. She was said to have told her mother that she would complete her studies and start working before considering marrying. The deceased mother alleged that one Ndubuisi had been disturbing her daughter since they moved to the area in 2013, and had in her presence threatened to deal with her if she refused his amorous overtures.

Her words: “In my presence, I had asked my daughter and she told me that relationship is not her prob¬lem now until she is through with her education.
She hardly collects gifts from boys nor accepts free rides when coming back from school.”
Chiawolam was said to have gone to see her sister in a nearby village. On her way from the visit, the three boys allegedly abducted and took her into a nearby forest, where they have a cult house and shrine.
Explaining further, the mother told Sunday Sun “While this was going on, my daughter told me that she was still shouting, but nobody could come to her rescue. She said that immediately they got into the forest, near Inyienyi stream, one of the boys named Ndubuisi brought out a dagger and threatened to kill her if she refused to submit herself to them. Eventually, they over-pow¬ered her, tore off her skirt, blouse, pants, brassier and forcefully raped her in turns. She said that when they were doing all those things to her, she passed out, only to wake and see herself in the pool of her own blood.
It became difficult for her to stand up and walk out of the forest, as her head was turning and every area of her abdomen and private region was paining her. She said that she looked at herself to discover that blood filled the whole place like where a goat was slaughtered for sacrifice.”
Mrs, Umeh said she never imagined that her daughter would take her life. She called on the police and all relevant authorities to give her justice and ensure that her daughter did not die in vain by making those who pushed her to suicide pay for their sins.
The Police Public Relations Officer for Abia State, Mr Ezekiel Udeviotu, who confirmed the incident described it as unfortunate, stating that the police was doing all within its powers to arrest the culprits, who were said to have fled the community.

PhonesRe: 5 Signs That You Are A Smartphone Addict by chaxking(m): 10:48am On Jul 12, 2015
Guilty grin
kingstylo01:
The invention of smartphones has gone a long way to improving our life style and making things easier for us. But as the saying goes, too much of everything is too bad and everything that has an advantage also has a disadvantage. This is not different with smartphones either. We are here to give you some funny but realistic signs that make you a smartphone addict.

1. YOU TAKE YOUR ARGUMENTS TO GOOGLE FOR FINAL PROOF
Today, with the help of Google, information reaches our finger tips easily unlike before. Let’s say you are in class with some friends, an issue just aroused that caused disagreement; the first thing you do is to bring out your smartphone and Google the answer, putting an end to the discussion. This tends to settle arguments quickly unlike back in the days when Google was not that popular making you guys will argue and argue, each person sticking to his opinion.
If you have an attitude of putting questions forward to Google in any argument just like the example above, then it’s a sign that you’re addicted to smartphone.

2. ALWAYS TAKING SELFIES
I know ladies are guilty of this! If you are the type that loves taking selfies everywhere, on the street, in classroom, in the kitchen, everywhere, then you may be categorized among those addicted to their smartphones.

3. YOU GO TO THE TOILET WITH YOUR SMARTPHONE
Toilets are strictly made for privacy, that’s why there are locks on the doors so as to make one comfortable and have maximum privacy, disconnecting us from the outside world. Some folks however will take their smartphone to the toilet, despite the fact that toilets aren’t made for texting. Operating mobile phones in the toilet is bad habit and a sign of a smartphone addict.
Have you ever been pressed and ran to the toilet only to find out that you are not with your smartphone then rushes back to get it? If yes, then consider yourself addicted to your smart phone.

4. YOU BUMP INTO A VEHICLE OR ITEM WHILE ON THE STREET
“Oh! Let me see what the latest gist is," you say to yourself, chatting as you walk maybe in a lonely street, then you mistakenly bump into a pole wire or into someone. Many of young folks are guilty of this! If you bump into objects on the street while operating your device, it is a sure sign that you are addicted. If you are among this set, then believe me you, you are a smart phone addict.
All over the world, there are reports of accidents caused by smartphones, and its increasing day by day. This has become so serious that in places like Nevada, police are on the watch for those that text while walking, ready to fine them.

5. YOU USE YOUR PHONE IN BED
On a final note, if you are always checking your smartphone enthusiastically before you sleep, then it’s a sign that you are a smart phone addict. There are several studies which show how using smartphones before sleeping greatly affects our sleep. In Norway, a recent study shows that using your smartphone an hour before sleep doubles the risk of getting poor sleep.
Although we might have come across different reports saying that operating smartphone before sleeping is bad, many of us can’t just do without our smartphones before sleeping. If you are reading this now and are about going to bed, then don’t deny it, you are a smartphone addict.
If you fall among any of these categories listed here, then know that you are a smartphone addict. Almost all youngsters fall in at least one of the category listed above; true or false?

If you know any other sign that show you are addicted to your smartphone, feel free to drop it down here, using the comment box.

FamilyRe: Could My Wife Be Cheating? by chaxking(m): 11:51pm On Jul 11, 2015
First go dna for ur pikin
freelance777:
Dear Nairalander's

How are you all doing? I hope you guys are doing well? I am writing this post to express my fears of the unknown, because I have been a very trusting and reliable husband to my wife.

Before marriage, my wife have once told me about his ex who is supposedly his best date ever in her life before she met me, that apart 2 years into our marriage, we had an arguement in which she confronted me about a number saved with a lady's name on my dialled list. I openly and honestly told her it was my old school mate whom I missed her call and had called back. But she wanted to know more like I was doing something shady, that got me all roused up and I just told her to leave me be.

A week later, I received a call from her straight from work that my daughter had a serious cut on her lips due to an
accident, I quickly rushed down to the school, but met them at the nearest clinic where my daughter's lip was being stitched, few mins later I walked down to her school where she works nearby to pick up her car key then bring her car nearby so we could all go home, surprisingly, I found her wedding ring inside the glove compartment. A ring she wore out to work that very morning.

I didnt question her immmediately until the night of that day, I asked her why she had removed her ring and kept it in the glove compartment knowing fully well that the wore it out that very morning, she said it was because I have had mine removed since the past 1 month, so she also had the same reason to remove her's.

A week later, she opened up to me that she has been talking to her ex whom I described above, I asked her about what? She said she has been taking advise from him whenever we have issues. I kept shut and moved on.

2 more years into this marriage, I recently found out that her ex had sent her a whatsapp message, but she didnt respond, so I opened up a discussion with her based on ex's. I asked her if keeping contact of ex's or communicating with ex's is good for married people be it the man or woman, she said its a no no, that infact she will never accomodate such and that its wrong for anybody to do that. I immediately told her to open up her whats app, she did and I showed her her ex's whats app message, she at first was scared, wanted to cover up the phone somehow, but due to fear, she slowly relaxed herself and she said well that I can see that he is just talking and she has not been responding, and that its possible for someone you do not have on your contact list to send you a whatsapp message, I agreed, but countered her saying you also have saved his number with Abbreviation, if you never intend having future communication with him, why then did you save his number thereafter? I didnt get an answer, until later after two weeks when she told me she was in communication with him in order to secure a job for his younger brother. ( Very hard to believe) I moved on.

A few days later again, I was on my way to help her fix her iphone which she has abandoned like a year and the half, something just prompted me to dial his ex's number on that phone, behold she had saved the number as 'rsif' someone who bears Williams. Anyway I kept quiet still. The the final incident that gave me a final warning that this my wife might be cheating on me unknowingly was just a month ago when she told me she had met this dude on the same estate we reside, that he was into business and had also gave her his complementary card, I asked what he does, said he is an estate agent, I responded saying estate agency does not correlate with what you do, she said at least he can provide us good offer for housing by the time we are ready to move. When all of a sudden, she said that same guy had asked her to help cook since his own wife had travelled to the USA to give birth. She asked if it was right for her to go ahead and do the cooking, I immediately denounce that move that it is wrong, and that the guy has another motive entirely. I told her to tell him that he should ask his own family member to cook for him, and that she should immediately cut communication with him if she wants to last long in the marriage.

My wife responded by saying, she does not think the guy has bad intentions and that he is a cool and nice person with a very mild personality, that if the dude has such intentions, that it would be the most surprising occurence to her. I said well just do as I have said. Lo and behold, I investigated her phone and I found out that she had already cooked for this dude even before she asked me the question. I confronted her, and she said it was because I might not find it funny and thats the reason why she kept it a secret at first. I then promise to show her that the dude was infact a cheater whom is planning to cheat on his wife with my own wife. One day, I impersonated my wife, and started sending text as such as that am ready to give him what he wants, lo and behold, this dude was responding and was even asking where I was at, that he is ready to heal my wounds, a hug and everything that I needed. I showed my wife the text message, and she acted all surprised, but I was not, because based on the conversations that I have seen, it seems to me that whenever I have issued, he rushes to call the guy and tell him everything, which was a good avenue for the guy to provide emotional consolation in order to get what he wants.

I apologize for this long story, but I just needed to detail this story well, so that I can get insight of what I need to be thinking, what I need to do, and the right steps to take.

Thanks all.
