Perhaps, you don't know much about this people. I have come across Hausas who from Niger, Togo, etc. And there re some who re came as far as even Mali- Tuareg. Those who were in oshodi, Lagos way back in the 1990/ 2000 can attest to this, that we once had small population of Arab on Lagos street begging for money. Atleast, I came across them more than 3 times within 2001- 2004.

This people in power have privilege information which you and I don't have. I remembered the first bomb blast that happened in Abuja during Jonathan administration. My father's friend warned close relatives not to go anywhere near maitama, wuse, iyaya etc. He xplained that he good intel that their will be attack, though we didn't believe him until it happened. A Nigerian mum, Shalom Sam-Ogbaji and her three kids have been declared missing in Lagos.

According to Twitter user, Lawrence Olanrewaju, who shared the story online, Shalom and the kids were last seen on Friday January 25th at Ajao estate. Since then, no word has been heard from them. He wrote;

Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers on Monday, killed a mobile police officer at Garrision roundabout, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Eyewitnesses said the gunmen had trailed the company vehicle the police officer was escorting from a bank.


“The incident happened in the afternoon. The vehicle the police officer was escorting was at Garrison when another vehicle barricaded it. Two men came out from the vehicle and made straight to where the Police Officer was sitting and opened fire on him.”

“They shot him severally and the man died on the spot. They went to the boot of the vehicle and carried the money. The driver and one other person in the vehicle sustained bullet injuries and were taken to hospital,” he said.


Spokesperson for the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, has confirmed the incident.
