They invited the igwe to supposedly crown their club Eze ndigbo and the musician was to lunch a song he did for them. Two of them were no show at the event. Ask those so called millionaires where is igwe D O Nnaji and otigba Ibe. It's no secret that both men are still in immigration lockup and will go to court on Monday

Not only Igwe D O Nnaji but their guest artist as well.. both are cooling off in immigration lock up.. this also goes to would be victims.. if you are coming to Malaysia, don't pay any money to any agent (they usually charge between 80k to 120k) they will only get you fake visa and when you arrive KLIA, you will have to fork out more than 1000$ to smuggle you out without proper stamp.

Any Malaysian visa that you didn't attend interview at the embassy in Abuja is 100% fake. Beware and be wise people

fiizznation:
Hypocrisy in this country stinks to high heavens. You see people insulting Islam over what is a norm in the suppose "holy south" were a girl leaves her parents home to be with her man friend even when she is 14yrs. The funny thing about the people insulting Islam is that they are dirty people doing all sorts of dirty and abominable things.

How can a sane man "abduct" a supposed sane girl from beyelsa to kano without her full consent? Does it even make any sense? So yunusa forced the girl into a cab all the way from bayelsa to kano without facing any resistance from her or without anybody noticing? This is the very vital question the "holy ones" need to ask themselves

I don't think it is right to condemn or insult Islam over an action of one person.. however I have few observations to make;

1. You should first be angry at people who use Islam to defend their heinous crime!. If a priest rape a boy and his line of defence is that it is permissible in his religion, you have the right to condemn such aspect of his religion.

2. You just did what you accused other of doing by generalizing the whole Sourthern women as being loose.

3. A girl of 13/14 years old cannot give consent to marriage or elopement... whether they eloped or she was abducted, she should be returned to her parents as she is still a minor and cannot make such a decision. Even in Islam, you need to seek the consent of the girls parents before marrying her.

4. Nobody has given us the real age of this Yunsa or even his clear picture.

5. Boko haram abducted more than 200 girls without anybody noticing or disturbing them during the operation. It is possible the eloped but also within possibility that she may have been hypnotized!

This is nothing new!! this is a clear case of Stockholm syndrome or capture-bonding!!.. even one of the rescued Chibok girls said she would rather be with her boko haram "husband" than her family... she even kept his baby!

Showing a video of her refusing to enter a car is of no consequence. what was the relationship between the girl and the Yunsa before the "abduction".

I really wonder who is trying to spin this whole saga. First they said the girl was 17, we have seen pictures and video of the girl, why has nobody tell us the real age of the "boy" or his pictures?

Tonye now i give up on you, Since the day you decamp you lost your glory and you thinking cap.... PDP has done the worst to your life i swear....

How about this

Edo State: Osunbor was sacked and Oshiomole replace him

Osun: Oyinlola was sacked and Aregbe replace him

Ekiti: Segun Oni was Sacked and Fayemi replace him

Ondo: Agagu was sacked and reply by Mimiko.

Anambra: Ngige was sacked and replace by Peter Obi

that's all i know people can add there's

All the above example are different with what happened in Taraba. In the above cases, the tribunal determined that Aregbesola, Fayemi et. el scored the highest number instead of the declared winner and relying on section 140 (3) of Electoral act declared them winner.

In the case of Taraba, if the electoral act section 140 (2) was to be followed, the tribunal ought not to have declared a winner but a re-run because the declared winner did score the highest number of votes but wasn't qualified to contest the election. However, here lies the Nigerian problem... A federal high court in 2011 or so declared sections 140 and 141 of the electoral act null, void and of no effect!

So following the electoral law, by the reason given by the tribunal, they ought to have declared a re-run, however they are also right by relying on the judgement of high court which insist that tribunals and courts has declarative injunctions.

This is just one proof as to how lazy some Nigerians are and just about how a newspaper can manipulate people.. The company in question duly paid NNPC for the crude oil it lifted whatever happened to the Zambian side is not our problem, moreover a judge in Zambia had thrown the prosecution off for lack of evidence. Why and how the name of Jonathan managed to make the headline is what I don't understand because he wasn't even the president in 2008 neither is he one of the directors of the company!!

kaboninc:

Most of us do not know how assets are hidden. Today, nobody wants to have anything to do with personal finance and cash. Do you think Dangote has anything to do with bank accounts? His companies take care of his expenses. So assessing him should also include his interests in these companies and putting a value to it. They are done for tax purposes.

You should enquire about the value of these companies owned by these guys. Enquire about the interests they hold or who represents their interests in these companies and their associated value..

We were not also told how many shares they own in the publicly listed and private companies. VP Osinbajo has interests in MTN. MTN is a hot cake and very difficult to obtain. When they did their private placement, it was in USD and strictly by invitation. How many units does Buhari own in Union Bank? Their assets should be verified. When Yaradua publicly declared his assets, they were given a value and worth. So until we see the worth, this is just cosmetics and changing the focus on 100 days in office.

These are questions you ask to get the real or nearest estimate of these guys.

You hit the hammer right on the nail.. as a matter of fact, I have seen some people claiming that the president is worth only 30million.. heck!! this is just cash!

There are houses in Abuja valued at more than a billion, we need to put value to all the assets declared to get a clear picture of their net-worth

Sagay's committee may also become the warehouse for petitions for the public before they are sent to the appropriate anti-corruption bodies, after being sieved by the presidential team

In other words, this committee will determine which case get investigated?? I would like to know which law that sets up this committee that they will be one recommending to EFCC and ICPC which case to after... So a presidential committee can determine cases that should be investigated? All I'm saying is for the future, you may trust Buhari now, but he won't be the last president of Nigeria. We mustn't start something that is illegal and open to abuse all because of "integrity and body language" of one man.

Could it be that he is probing only two civilian presidents? I wouldn't have problem if it's from 2010 or 2011.. but going back to 2007 and leaving out OBJ government raise questions.

Ignorance everywhere.

It is like saying because someone got a Law Degree from Madonna Uni when it lost its degree, that person isn't a graduate.

It is one thing to have the degree, it is another thing for it to be recognized. After all, the school didn't deny that it gave the Degree to him.

Fowler has a valid degree, howbeit from an institution that lost its accreditation.

The question is not as to validity and value, but as to recognition.

The thing is that Irish International University was never a university or accredited at any point in time let alone losing accreditation.

In fact, Jeff Wooller was expelled / excluded from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales because of his association with Irish International University as its Honorary Chancellor.

@enboldened, the problem is that when you have almost all the political leaders from one region in the opposition, there will be a disconnect. We can all try to deny it and say it wont happen but it will be there.

Example is when the ACN called the governors from the SW to an economic summit but Ondo did not attend because Mimiko was in LP.

Out of 5 governors in SE, only 3 are from PDP... nobody is even talking about SS here. But I do agree that the SE need to build bridges across other political zones. I would like a national government and national opposition party.
Politics / Re: Can The Igbo Play Opposition In Nigeria? by chedet: 6:31am On Aug 04, 2015
Smooyis:

The south east vote for party affiliation most times, but the south west think more of the personality representing them no matter how they love the party.

How about North West that voted exclusively for Buhari in 2011, were they reminded everyday that they must be in opposition or they are 5%?

If as you claim that South West votes personality, I'm guessing you didn't know those who contested 2011 election and how the SW voted. What changed? or did Jonathan had superior personality than Buhari in 2011 that SW voted overwhelmly for the PDP?

Democracy is a game of choice and nobody should be punished for freely having a choice. You cannot say that a geopolitical zone is opposition, saying that, as Joe Igbokwe is alluding to, is to give credence to the perception by SE that they will be excluded in this government.

You may rejoice today because it is SE, we don't know the future. We may move into a president who will be responsible to only his political zone.

Skyscraper is often used for building of more than 150m tall, Cocoa house is 105m tall, at best, you can call it high rise building.

However, even if we use the word skyscraper, Cocoa house, with a height of 105m, finished in 1965 couldn't have been the first skyscraper in tropical African or Nigeria when Independence house in Lagos, with height of 103m was finished five years early in 1960[/size]
