Dejipumpin: All i can see from these posts is personal beefing. I believe some guys/coy paid you to write all these image denting stuffs about Cashcraft. Even a layman would know that you're being baised after reading your initial posted beef-talk. No matter your dealings through them, i'm of the opinion that you can still settle issues through your account officer or whoever manages your account, and not to come to the forum to post topic that draws undeserved recognition & unnecessary attention to you. If you care to know, i'm one of the people that believe in Cashcraft as one of the best Stockbroking, Portfolio Mgt, Asset mgt & Investment coy in Nigeria. Case closed! ! ! Case closed ke? Case never start sef. The fact is that if 50% of cashcraft's disgruntled customers had the opportunity to post here or knew that this thread existed, you would see at least 80 replies a day. The fact is that cash craft is a complete mess-up. (Do we want to start from Nascon shares sale?) They have to retrain all their staff if they want to stay in business. Mind you, they are not one of the top 10 stock broking firms in Nigeria so why would someone "pay people" to bring them down u wan turn to mel gibson for conspiracy theory?. Please wise up o, except u wan dash person your money. |

I'm planning to open an account with them but with all this complain i'm beginning to think twice. Of course they would welcome you with open arms. How else would you be convinced to put your money there. Your nightmares will begin only after you have started using them as your brokers. @blueband lol, Nothin o. The funny thing is that if they will never issue you a receipt for the payment so that leaves no paper trail (as they say in the movies). I have never paid, because i always stand my ground by telling them that it is illegal, but the last time i went, i had to argue a lot. Don't want that to continue. |

Classic BTW i am thinking of reporting my stockbroking firm, They still charge for verification even though SEC has stated that it is illegal. The funny thing is that they don't even give receipts so there is no paper trail. I have never agreed to pay, but the last time i went to verify my certificate, i had to argue for a while before my certificate was taken. Don't want to go through that again. How do i go about it? |

Standard Alliance to raise N18.7bn through public offer Posted Tuesday, March 11, 2008
-Investors get value of six for on
Standard Alliance Insurance Plc is set to raise N18.7 billion through a public offer (PO). Olorogun O’tega Emerhor Vice Chairman (VC) of the company made this disclosure to Proshare N/I at the end of the company’s Completion Board Meeting (CBM) held in today Lagos Nigeria.
Emerhor says Standard Alliance is approaching the market to raise more funds in order to offer the company’s shareholders a lot of returns on their Investment. “If you buy this share, you are buying into six companies, I tell you, six companies for the price of one” he said.
“We are six companies in the Group doing different businesses; therefore investors are actually going to get the value of six companies for the price of one” Emerhor said.
To raise N18.7 billion Standard Alliance is offering to investors by way of subscription 4.750 billion ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each at N3.95 Kobo per share.
From a document made available to Proshare N/I, offer proceeds would be used in implementing the company’s strategic plan of expansion and diversification through the provision of Life Assurance, Assets and Wealth Management Services, Property Investment and Real Estate Services, Mortgage Banking and Pension Fund Administration.
“Standard Alliance would use the proceeds from the offer to strengthen the various companies in the Group, so that we can expand our services beyond Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja where we already exist to other parts of the country” Emerhor said.
Lead Issuing House to the offer is Vetiva Capital Management Limited, while the joint issuing houses include Diamond Bank Pc, First Inland Bank Plc, and Greenwich Trust Limited. Others are LeadCapital Limited, Skye Bank Plc and Spring Capital Markets Limited. The offer opens Friday, 14th March 2008 and closes Monday, 31st March 2008. |

damoche07: Egbon Wanajo,u are there.I just finished catching up on the last few pages. Its saddening. So saddening what this my second home has turned into.
To further help boost the peace coming back to this treasured thread, i have decided to obamanise, copy, i mean some jokes from the jokes section cortesy of Sam Milla
Here they are;
Little DAVID comes home from first grade and tells his father that they learned about the history of Valentine's Day.
"Since Valentine's Day is for a Christian saint and we're Jewish," he asks, "will God get mad at me for giving someone a valentine?"
His father thinks a bit, then says, "No, I don't think God would get mad. Who do you want to give a valentine to?"
"Osama bin Laden," David says.
"Why Osama bin Laden," his father asks in shock.
"Well," Josh says, "I thought that if a little American Jewish boy could have enough love to give Osama a valentine, he might start to think that maybe we're not all bad, and maybe start loving people a little bit. And if other kids saw what I did and sent valentines to Osama, he'd love everyone a lot. And then he'd start going all over the place to tell everyone how much he loved them and how he didn't hate anyone anymore."
His father's heart swells and he looks at his boy with newfound pride. "DAVID, that's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard."
"I know," DAVID says, "and once that gets him out in the open, the ARMY could blow the shit out of him."
There was a party that many rich people attended. The host had recently built a tank with many alligators, paranas, and many other things that could kill you. The host said that if anyone could swim across the tank, he would, to the best of his ability, grant them 3 wishes.
Well, nobody was up to the challenge, so everyone just started having a good time and doing that "party thing."
Suddenly, there was this big splash! The host looked and saw a man swimming to beat hell across the tank, and, look and behold, he made it!
The host walked over to the man and said, "Alright, you made it, WOW!. What are your 3 wishes?" The man replied, "First, you see that shotgun of yours? give it to me , Two, see those bullets over there? give me them, 3, show me the bastard who pushed me into that pool."
Two Arabs boarded a flight out of London. One took a window seat and the other sat next to him in the middle seat. Just before takeoff, an American sat down in the aisle seat.
After takeoff, the American kicked his shoes off, wiggled his toes and was settling in when the Arab in the window seat said,"I need to get up and get a beer".
"Don't get up," said the American, "I'm in the aisle seat. I'll get it for you".
As soon as he left, one of the Arabs picked up the American's shoe and spat in it. When he returned with the beer, the other Arab said, "That looks good, I'd really like one, too". Again, the American obligingly went to fetch it.
While he was gone the other Arab picked up his other shoe and spat in it too. When the American returned, they all sat back and enjoyed the flight.
As the plane was landing, the American slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened.
"Why does it have to be this way?" he asked. "How long must this go on? This fighting between our nations? This hatred? This animosity? This spitting in shoes, pissing in beers?"
Hopes this helps.Got to go back to work. I was practically rolling off my chair when i read these jokes. Thanks for the comic relief. |

Let there be peace, and there was peace My suggestion is that we ignore the under 18s who are using their immature posts to gain publicity. I believe if we all by-pass their posts like they don't exist, they will lose interest and move to where they belong. All this placating is just encouraging them. Any one who replies them from now on will be seen as a supporter of their conduct. As they say, silence is the best answer for a fool fowl |

buzzgonz: what's cashcraft plz enlighten me? Cash Craft is a stock broking firm that is so messed up that they buy more stock for you when you don't even tell them to, thereby putting your account in red and charging interest on it. I wouldn't advice anyone to go near them. Their service is horrible, their staff are not professional. I was in their office one day to buy a private placement they were the issuing house for and heard one of their official talking so horribly and disrespectfully about a client that wanted to buy 1000 units of a particular company. Apparently the amount the guy was spending wasn't enough for him to waste his time on. Old and New Investors be warned |
Romance › Re: Funny Marriage Proposal by cheexy: 12:42am On Mar 07, 2008 |
This proposal kinda reminds me of one i witnessed at silverbird cinemas. We were watching spiderman2 and all of a suddeen we saw a marriage proposal on the screen, before we knew what was happening, the guy in question stood up, waved the ring for all to see and put it on the girl's finger. Can u imagine that crap People laughed the hell outta him and started screaming at the part where peter parker was to propose to mary jane, for him to wave the ring for all to see like the way the mumu guy did. I was so embarrased for the girl. Gosh @windywendy I had to come to this thread to read it when i read yodi referring to ur responses here. Some of the posts i have read here (the ones that say that the girl should count herself lucky that he proposed)suggests to me that either the posters are very local or very immature. Even my dad in his days did much better than that. Oya, back to our beloved thread. We need to CICO, ZIZO, RIRO etc |
