The believer The unbeliever.

1. Strong Theist: I do not question the existence of God, I KNOW he exists.
2. De-facto Theist: I cannot know for certain but I strongly believe in God and I live my life on the assumption that he is there.
3. Weak Theist: I am very uncertain, but I am inclined to believe in God.
4. Pure Agnostic: God’s existence and non-existence are exactly equiprobable.
5. Weak Atheist: I do not know whether God exists but I’m inclined to be skeptical.
6. De-facto Atheist: I cannot know for certain but I think God is very improbable and I live my life under the assumption that he is not there.
7. Strong Atheist: I am 100% sure that there is no God. |

idris4r83: if God came by accident then he is not God. My God is eternal, he begets not and non is he begotten. He is there even before time and will be there after time cos he created the time. The Genesis of my God and his nature is totally beyond human comprehension. If u can understand the genesis of God, then he seizes to be God. So god started existing suddenly from nothing and from nowhere? Perfect sense indeed. A god who created evil and still punish people for doing evil, is that one god? |

MrPresident1: Really?
By which of the definitions below are WE all, according to you, godless?
1. not recognizing or obeying God. "a godless country" synonyms: atheistic, unbelieving, agnostic, skeptical, heretical, faithless, irreligious, ungodly, unholy, impious, profane; More infidel, heathen, idolatrous, pagan; satanic, devilish "a godless society" antonyms: religious
2. without a god. "humanity coming to terms with a godless world"
3. profane; wicked. synonyms: immoral, wicked, sinful, wrong, evil, bad, iniquitous, corrupt; More
We have no divine arms to lean on yet we have each other? Yet we are godless? Very very interesting.
When people provide their arms and shoulders for others to lean on, that is divine, and that is love, and that is God.
You my friend are only irreligious, you are not godless! Your godlessness begins on the day you withdraw your shoulder from your fellow human being. Are you typing to make sense or just for attacking sake? |

Sometimes i just wish scientist didn't put a single effort to make our world a better place. Somehow, they made life difficult for us.
And now, one now need to go to hospital when one is sick to receive treatment whereas we could just pray and get healed immediately
Science made the eradication of ebola possible after so much struggles. Something we could just pray and ebola will just flee
Science made us to spend to drill boreholes when we could just pray, and then use one long stick and hit on the ground and water will start gushing out.
There are lots and lots of them. Science is evil! |

If average calorie intake is equal to average calories burn, you neither lose nor gain weight

Christianity Etc › Re: The Concept Of Free Will And Original Sin by chemystery(op): 7:29pm On Apr 29, 2017 |
hopefulLandlord: The other problem with the "free will" argument, of course, is that the Bible makes it plain that God is no respecter of free will.
Probably the most egregious example is Exodus, wherein multiple times we are told, "But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go" (and variations upon that theme). God repeatedly forced Pharaoh to refuse, then punished Pharaoh (for the coerced refusal) by sending various plagues, up to and including murdering all the firstborn children of Egypt.
And to add insult to injury, after he had slaughtered the children and permitted Pharaoh to free the Israelites, "the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians." So, at any time, God could have simply moved them to let the Israelites go, without need for inflicting rains of frogs and bloody rivers, killing all their livestock, and murdering their children. But he waited to do that until after he had mostly sated his sadistic tendencies.
(I say "mostly", for a couple of chapters later, he once again abrogated Pharaoh's free will, "hardening his heart" to make him pursue the Israelites.) hmmmmn, this one is strong! |
