deomelo:
Prosperous people don't leave their already prosperous towns and villages in Nigeria to be economic migrants in other places inside the same Nigeria, it should be the other way around, it should be less prosperous people trooping to your prosperous land for survival opportunities.

This is common sense.
lol!
Deomelo, I've known you in here. What drives your reasoning is first your sentiments before facts and not the other way round which is the correct thing.
There are most populous cities in each country where migration is highest; areas of high industrialisation and population density which creates market opportunity and relatively higher revenue.
Bros, you definitely will find more people in Washington DC, New York, California, etc than in the suburbs of frisco, Texas etc.
It's natural bro.
Egbon, in the remotest part of even Chad, you'd see an Igbo man carving out a niche for himself, it doesn't mean that place is better than his village. No, but it's a place he can focus on his visions without distractions from relatives & pals.
Can I shock you?
Ogun state generates more revenue than Anambra State BY FAR. But Bros without bias, Anambra has better state roads than Ogun state (especially OTO-AWORI areas.
If you want we can ask AUTOREG REPORTS to do a study on this and give us feedback.
See, bros if you knew sometimes, your direction of thought will surely change.
Igbos ain't better than Yorubas in revenue, so you don't misunderstand this but they have been able to do something for themselves even without the govt

Last time I checked, I was talking about Nigeria, not Israel under NAZI.

Learn how to read and comprehend.

Your towns and villages in Nigeria are poor and unproductive to offer you any sense of hope and means of survival hence catching the next ekenedilshuku to the prosperous and productive SW and the North for your daily bread.
Lol
Funny you again. You won't understand so no need arguing with you as I've known your ilk; no world known index has proved your words.
Calling out Ekenedili....... which almost doesn't exist shows the age you refer to.

What is this one talking about?

Prosperous people don't leave the comfort of their home, towns and villages where there's no prospect and hope for survival just to seek and prospect for survival and daily bread in other people's land.

The places you troop to for your survival and daily bread are more prosperous than you because it's the only reason why you go there for survival. If they are not prosperous than you, you won't go there to tap into their wealth and abundance for survival.

Prosperous is not all always about money or the money you stash under your bed
Funny you.
So the whole of the people in your region reside in your region? None in the UK, US, etc.?
So Israelis around the world since NAZI till now means Israel isn't prosperous?
Stop deceiving yourself bro.
Get this; the Igbo is supposed to be the worst region in this country in every indices because, EVERYTHING THEY HAD GOT DESTROYED DURING THE NIGERIAN CIVIL WAR AND THE FG CEASED THEIR MONIES & NEVER ASSISTED THE REGION. THIS IS TO SAY ALL OTHER REGIONS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT 40YRS AHEAD OF THE SE.
THE PEOPLE OF SE ON THEIR OWN ACCORD BUILT THEIR REGION BACK.
Bros, don't try this argument it's useless.
The only backward place for the SE is politics but I prefer it that way; I don't want the Igbos to smell even the VP toll Nigeria becomes a better integrated country else the Igbos will get a lot of blame; let the North & Yorubas continue for now

No hard feelings, just stating the facts.
Bros, the Igbo man hates not the Yoruba man and if they have the means, egbon they ain't killing no Yoruba man.
The Igbos don't even see the Yorubas as a subject threat but an object of it.
We don't spite the Yorubas but may have a level distrust (which could be wrong cos everyone plays their game their way, no need for it.

How possible is that?
This could as well be a strategy of the army, setting ambush for the enemy.
More of the reason, they release the picture to the public so the enemy can feel like having an upper hand and come over to face their death!!

So, how can this be an ambush?
So, the enemy will see this video in 5hrs & attack? How possible is it for a post to go viral in 5hrs so the enemy can see it?
If this is true then the army taking this as a strategy must be high on weed.
So, the enemy can't be ambushed in a more intelligent way than this medium that is sure to have below 20% success rate.
Aunty, it's no news that the soldiers are fighting with bad armory. I gave a soldier who has been in Bornu since 2014 a lift & the guy from Kano said, they the NA are fighting against the govt & not Boko Haram.

Culture › Re: Mixed Reactions As An 'Outcast' Is Made King In Imo Community. Photos by Cherez: 6:12pm On Dec 30, 2018
For those of us that have forever been wondering, what OSU OUTCAST means, here you have it.....

The Osu caste system, which is prevalent in Anambra, Imo and some areas in Ebonyi states, discriminates against families which in the ancient times were dedicated to the local deities because human sacrifice was required to cleanse the land of abominations. The Osu were mostly slaves and other categories of persons considered as “inferior”, as opposed to those who were “freeborn” or “Nwadiala”. As outcasts, they were ldiscriminated against and not accepted by the mainstream of society.

In spite of efforts by clerics, political leaders and social crusaders to consign this system to the dustbin of history it is still being stubbornly observed in many communities. In 1956, the Eastern Nigerian House of Assembly had passed a law abolishing it, but it was not implemented.

There is no reason for this caste system to remain in these modern times. Slavery was abolished long ago, and no human sacrifice is going on anywhere in Nigeria except as a criminal offence linked to some dark cults. The constitution of Nigeria declares every person free and equal before the law. All Nigerians are constitutionally entitled to fundamental human rights, which include the right to freedom from discrimination and the dignity of the human person.

To end the Osu and similar inhuman caste systems wherever they are being practiced in Nigeria requires a combination of cultural reforms, law enforcement and active sensitisation. Serious legal actions need to be taken against any form of discrimination and dehumanisation.

We call on traditional authorities and churches in Igboland to prevail on every community still practising the Osu caste system to abolish it.

SAY NO TO OSU CASTE SYSTEM and let us all live as brothers and sisters in peace.
#EndOsu
Thank you!
The OSU CASTE in not seen as "INFERIOR" people but here is the reason for the discrimination:
They are considered the properties of the gods and are not usually slaves but the main ways to become an OSU was either by birth or volition.
Once anyone commits a crime or a slave wants to be free from his master, they run into the forest of any god and dedicate their selves to the god, hence become properties of the gods and never again belongs to their former masters and this is their introduction to the OSU CASTE by volition.
People discriminate against them cos they believe they are the properties of the gods, higher beings that must not be hurt in any way by an ordinary man else the gods fights such

Yet them claim to hate no one. Shame Shame Shame !!!
I wonder how people like you who are unknowledgeable get like in this country; not surprised shithole we have got.
Fr your info, "OSU" isn't a 2nd class citizen as the writeup wrongly stated but is similar like the "ABOBAKU" in Yoruba but in this case the OSU is dedicated to the gods, isn't killed but allowed to have a wife who is an OSU or a free caste who marries them and automatically becomes an OSU, Have children and live a life separate from the community.
How & why? Anyone who commits a crime or does something abominable and about to be abolished can on their own volition join the OSU caste to be free of the consequences. Once dedicated to the gods is seen as the property of the gods and anybody who touches or hurts them draws the wrath of the gods; this is why people don't interact with them. In fact, mere jest of them in certain cases can incur the wrath of the gods as believed.
You fear them cos they are not to be maltreated, they were never 2nd class citizens

And stop lying to yourself. You are not from uga you liar.
Go and ask your mother to compare obi and obiano and I 100% promise you your mother will call peter obi a fraud. Only obiano increased workers salaries and still give them bags of rice every christmas, also pays them in due time.
That you are so proud to tell us a governor dug boreholes and gave out laptops shows your IQ level. Shame
I thank God people are watching this discuss between us to know exactly who is off point, calling names when he is making absolutely no sense.
Bros, the discuss here isn't comparing Obiano and Obi but Obi as an absolute entity. From Ngige to Obiano, I'm happy God has blessed Anambra with good governors though I'm not in Anambra now to analyse well Obiano's strides, but having been paying salaries as at when due and the Anambra rice he gave to all pensioners, he is trying at least.
Oga, Peter Obi did well to save and invest for Anambra if not, I wouldn't know what Obiano will be doing now and Obiano has carried on the good works.
Why won't I be happy Obi dug bore holes and made water available and built ICT HUBS (not just laptops) for ALL public schools in Anambra?
Do you know how many school children without access to drinking water talk more bathing water? During my secondary school days in the 90s, we drank "brown water" from water supply tankers.
Bros, his gesture was a sense of belonging to the principals, teachers and students.
Peter Obi was and remains the only governor to reward excellent graduates of Anambra State with a million naira each. Over 100 graduates!
Imagine your vocabulary "Convoy of a higher institution " yet you call me an illiterate.
Now to the road; compare the duration of the bridge to when it got bad and till date when Obiano fixed it. Don't let politics make you think awkwardly. The gully was faraway from the bridge when the bridge was erected, it's a place I know well and you don't yet you talk like a child.
Has aNY maintenance been done on the road running from bridge head to that Nkpor bridge?
Do you know how bad that relief market big gutter at the reroute to Onitsha-Owerri road was?
Bros, Obi did it with state's money, FG road oooooo!
Please tell me here other roads built by Obi that was poorly built.
See the bridge at amawbia junction that had cracks under a year of its construction was done by who?
(Don't let doemelo see this words of yours and flood here with his signature bridge cracks anytime he wants to troll Anambrarians). So, I should say Obiano is a fraud for that? Nna m, there might be cracks in my efforts but it can't rule out my general intention.

You mean the NBS report is a political statement? When will you peter obi boys stop embarrassing yourselves?
Here are the facts
- Most of the roads obi built were all substandard and have collapsed just like the Nkpoer Flyover which was repaired by obiano (Photo attached) .
- Insecurity was rife in Anambra that all Anambra rich men relocated from the state including peter obi who relocated to Enugu state as governor and his commissioners it took obiano to restore order and bring these men back
- Peter obi refused to conduct LGA elections for 8 years hence looted the revenue of the LGAs
- Only investment he attracted to Anambra was Sabmiller which he owns a stake.
- According to NBS Anambra had the highest poverty rate in Nigeria under Peter obi
-The 75 billion he claimed to leave for obiano were his usual lies as obiano has denied it severally
- The you ended you post with a comedy that peter obi is the most loved politician in Anambra today? The same peter obi that was chased out from onitsha main market when he went there to campaign? The same peter obi that lost his ward and polling unit and all LGAs in Anambra to obiano after a vigorous campaign to remove obiano? Continue fooling yourself.
Sometimes, I wonder why people like you derive joy from lies and deceit.
This pics is that of a gully erosion ravaging Omagba running from Omagba phase 1 to 3. That gully has been there since my childhood days in the 90s and have been used by the public as a waste site. It only got bigger and cut the flyover.
Stop being a crook, oga

Refer to this and feed your eyes. No one is saying he's the best but he couldn't have been the worst.

Egbon Totit, the much I know, Amosun is the worst SW governor you'd ever know.
Do you know how much Ogun generates? Do you know Ogun state well?
If I take you round Ogun state, you'd cry.
I saw the thread you posted from Govt house drive down till the psychiatric hospital, bros that's much less a hundredth of roads in Ogun state. If it's by that then Gbenga Daniel did good too cos he built one of the roads we enjoy at Abeokuta from Sagamu to Abeokuta.
I pray Ogun gets a good Governor so you'll understand this. A state with the biggest trade zone in W.Africa if not Africa as a whole.
Visit the Awori lands, IJEBU lands and even Abeokuta interiors and see for yourself.

I don't know why igbos are so full of hatred, envy and tribalism. Sincerely speaking they need to change their ways or else the will continue to be marginalized till eternity. They spread hatred on every platform not just Nairaland. Seriously I am really concerned about this altitude they exhibit because those altittudes will deter them from progressing.

Igbos wetin una gain when you spread hatred about other tribes?
You're worse than this OP
Is the OP Igbo?
Marginalised? Are Yorubas not being Marginalised too?
Igbos hate other tribes, tell.me what you do or have done to show love for other tribes ie if you know what love is.
Deter Igbos from progressing?
Don't be crazy, Igbos are not the poorest in Nigeria and even without the FG, they have done well for themselves by the ALMIGHTY GOD.
