swagguElite:Guy you're a man, I am in love with these words of yours. This kind of mind is what we need in this country, TRUE PATRIOTS able to rise above sentiments and uphold Nigeria or what they truly believe in. Man, you be true ELITE. @Timmy, if you cannot statistically prove it with a good level of confidence then you might prolly be one of them here on nairaland. |
TimmyPapa:@TimmyPapa, it's like your still stuck on tribalism yourself. If you don't stop it, even the winds will work against you. You have to be true to what you want so GOD himself can work for you too. Hard to tell you the lady I am after is Yoruba. Listen, you must first love that girl, her family and her people (tribe), if not the marriage won't last. And this is why intertribal marriages don't last, "you love the lady but not her people". I live and work in the west and can bring up a 100 of this issue you brought up but I make the best of my future in-laws (if GOD helps me at last). Don't mind all these tribalists from both divide in nairaland here wasting their energy. I TRUE CHRISTIAN AND I "CANNOT" HATE ANYONE MADE BY GOD, TALK MORE SOMEONE FROM ANOTHER TRIBE I HAVE NEVER MET. TIMMY, stop being a tribalism yourself. That's my advice |
vicmangs:@Timmy, I don't know everything. But I'm telling everybody willing to hear that if my family maltreats my wife, I AM 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. how can my family come to my house and insult my wife? That person will receive thunder and brimstone from me. I'm an adult and my family's role is to advice and mine is to do and they should keep their boundaries. Thank GOD I have a great family |
I'm Igbo. I hate such events and I entirely hold the girl responsible, though I understand her point. Since, the Igbo has a generalised disposition that the Yorubas don't like them, and that Yorubas are promiscuous, tending mostly to polygamy. All you need to prove to the girl's parents is that you truly love her and you are a faithful man. However, I will advise you visit her home and get more into a heart-to-heart talk with her father (don't be scared of any defenses and acts he puts up to keep u away, in fact, request for a two-aside time with him) and find out why he is against you. If you find out (It's most likely a preconceived notion), work to disprove his theory. Make sure to buy fruits anytime you visit. I'm going through same thing but I HAVE RESOLVED TO FIGHT FOR THE LADY I LOVE, knowing fully well that she and her parents have the wrong knowledge of whom an Igbo man truly is |
I hope this is not true.
Too bad if the intention was as presented above.
Dangote and Bontus oil should be apologized |
Omoluabi16:My dear brother, Amen ooooooo! GOD BLESS YOU! But after examining all that happened, I couldn't blame Ojukwu for fighting that war. Imagine Governor Ortom turning against PMB overnight due to the killings by Fulani herdsmen in his state. Would you ever blame him? But the massacre in the North then was hell worse off and justifies Ojukwu's actions. Let be peace and let us stay together as one big family in LOVE for our country. |
Keneking:@Keneking, you needn't argue what you are not exactly sure of based on thoughts and speculation. War is not good if fought for the wrong reasons. My father fought in that war and he told me his first hand experiences. Most of those engineers went to school abroad. Check and discover that most uni graduates between 1950 too 1980 were English Uni graduates and were well schooled. What of the bucket bombs, ogbunigwe, we're they also imported? Know for sure that war burgeoned ingenuity in great minds just like tough times birth ingenuity in great people. The Ojukwu bunker was also built by the French? We don't have such advancements because they were never sustained or passed on as those engineers went underground after the war, or do you want a former Biafra veteran be seen teaching people how to make bombs after the war? Even today, the vestige of the advancements can be seen; Though they're being channeled wrongly by some of our horrible brothers.; |
Omoluabi16:My brother ooooooo! The thing don tire me sef. I keep saying this, we should educate our people. I'm Igbo and I pray this drug thing stops, it's just too bad and disgraceful. |
omenkaLives:For not having a quotation mark on the word "gbagauns" you used and your "i" not in capital are enough error to reckon with, regarding the high class of diction you claim to posses. Anyway, I'm Igbo and I pray the President gets well soon as I do not subscribe to anyone heaping wrong words on our President. But questioning on the whereabouts of our president is more patriotic than spending 24hours a day trolling the internet hating more than the supposed "haters" and never condemning any wrong direction of the current government, especially with this Fulani herdsmen issue. |
omenka:Really, I've seen a lot of deceitful and hateful posts exactly like or more of those from some of my kinsmen who belong to your class. You say hate and lies but these pictures portray an extreme case of these two elements. I am from Anambra, grew up there but now working in the SW and as well been to the North and except for FG roads, my state can boast among the top percentile of states with good intra-state roads. BTW, Mr. Peter Obi built those roads on pics and consolidated on the Onitsha-Owerri road built by OBJ. Apart from OBJ, I wouldn't know any other president who built roads in the SE especially Anambra State (My people voted GEJ only cos of politics and intrigues & never his deeds) . Albeit, I hardly knew anything or structure from the FG as a kid but all these have not made us extinct. See, no need lying about it; the IGBO have been marginalized but that's our strength. We hardly wait on govt in our various communities as it is a well known fact that we contribute monies in our village and grade our roads unlike in many other places I know, in fact I mentioned it where I live but the people refused to contribute. |
Abagworo:I hardly engage in politics but I hate to see people whose lies stink to satan himself just because he is either paid to do so or just to win an argument. I am a core Anambrarian; born, grew, studied, resided and worked there and you saying Mbadinuju is close to good governance is a slap on each and every true Anambrarian. That man was a tyrant. And please stop mentioning the word,"cabal" in Anambra go and ask Dr. Ngige and if you want to compare Ngige with Peter Obi, I'll then be sure that you might be a deluded (sorry if i sound boorish) APC supporter. Ngige ate Anambra mad but we love him for opening the skeletons of the Ubah family and being a man (truly, I love the machismo he exacts). Did you watch the platform? Everyone who knew Obi witnessed at least 80% of what he aired there. Most students of Unizik living close to ANSG Govts' House always saw him in a 406 saloon sitting in front without a convoy. Now, if you blame GEJ for the woes PMB is going through but discredit Peter Obi when Anambra is not really suffering from the recession hit, financially. Abagworo my brother, just leave all these politics issue and join hands in building a united nation. Stop being biased and incoherent, but be patriotic in all you do and say regardless of the ballistics that head your way. |
Zico5:I strongly recommend publishing of names but man you really are not reasoning well. No human needs your respect as regards his cash. Nevertheless, Tinubu and Kashamu led the pack of those drug lords disgracing our country. You mentioning E-money; are there no young young Yoruba millionaires? No doubt some Igbos have really brought shame to Naija, their tribe and worse off their families but there are a lot more other who made their monies right. Now, can you yourself make a list of those who looted Naija from 1960? Igbos will be less represented. Again, not due to holiness so to say, but they're less in population and was less represented at the FG then. Note this: an average Igbo man is hardworking and hates to live off their parents, however some have also done lots of evil in this bid and as far as I am concerned, LET THEM PAY BITTERLY FOR THEIR WRONGS. |
Tomjazzy2:So, what of this? The sooner we get it that this is the 21st century and a democratic gov, the better for us. .http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/ex-president-obasanjo-donates-chimpanzee-named-patience-zoo/ |
Fanirandele:I hope you know that most lands bought in Lagos and its environs like Ogun State that people were not scammed? If you talk of commissions like this, the SW leads and gets no comparison. Every small pako bridge constructed, every small street has Omoniles extracting money from people illegally. I am not in the league of tribal bigots or the likes but when you begin to demonize a sect, you should watch your back. |
themosthigh:You claim you don't believe but deep down, your soul does. Below is a copy of what you posted on another forum about events of revelation , the author of whom you claim was on weeds. www.nairaland.com/3040218/why-did-god-create-tree/12#46768216 "Because jehovah is a wicked being who is looking for reasons to punish man and not blame himself...that is why he came down to earth to claim that he died for our sins out of his love for us only to wake up in three days, return back to heaven and claim he can now punish man in ethernal fire if we refuse to believe he died for our sins.....he gives us no evidence and punish us for saying it us a lie....he is worst than the devil and i will march out against him on armagadon carrying the black flag of lucifer...we will finally defeat him and lock him up in the bottomless pit which he created for his beloved creation...we almost did it during the tym.of the fallen angels and later when we where lead by the prince of persia to defeat all his angels and prevent daniels prayer from reaching God and we will succeed this tym around and end his reign of tyranny.."
|
themosthigh:I bless GOD you said," ..we almost did it" but never won. Same fate will you guys face in Armageddon. But I thank GOD cos HIS power if love conquers the love for power, through HIS sincere LOVE for you, HE is seeking earnestly for your salvation. I LOVE YOU WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST. |
I am a full blooded Igbo man from Anambra State. Your exclusion of Ogun State voids your list. For me, Ogun might be head-to-head with Lagos in infrastructural development if not for the recent oil discovery in Lagos |
Not anti-Igbo indeed. Condemn the act and advice the Igbos like you did here and not ridicule like a true Igbo hater www.nairaland.com/3082806/woman-hides-cocaine-sweet-packs

My dear Op, the interviewer just pulled your leg to see how much you could go in defending your right choices and reevaluating your wrong decisions. They were basically ascertaining your confidence level. Next time, ask the interviewer to throw more light on any statement that seems untrue. See interviews as a discussion class with you and your interviewer not a boss-slave relationship. GOD's Grace this year. |
Pls take it.
After you can apply to another one if need be. |
I WONDER THE WHAT GOOD JUDGEMENT IT IS TO BAN ANY PROBIAFRAN POST BUT PROMOTE ANTI-BIAFRAN POSTS. IS THIS POST NOT FILLED WITH HATE? |
Addicted2Women:No 1: Back then, painters, artists and sculptors did a lot. How come we've got pictorial representation of even Egypt, Caesar, etc. back then? No 2: History is there to prove it, even if you don't believe the BIBLE, archeological findings of recent times correlates well with the facts in the BIBLE. All the maps, journeys in the BIBLE is enough proof. At least, you don't doubt history books; The BIBLE is one, in addition too. |
Dear Detosho, You see how your good piece is being rubbished? Even though I am Igbo and don't believe everything you said up there, it is only rational for me to argue without defamatory words. But some people have started throwing it at you. Nairaland political, sectional sections are where any reasonable person should avoid commenting on (SINCERELY SPEAKING), cos some people will still attack you wrongly and refuse to see or reason out your points even when you are making sense. Seriously, phone and data is now cheap and believe me blood hot teenagers, juveniles, and immature adults are here. Some will come at me but I won't reply them as I'll just read their comments and pass on. |
Dfavouredone:I'm booked for the 8th and a mock will be OK on the 7th at Abuja. I am in. So, Jarus hit d button and give us details of your price and what we need do. Thank you. I |

Hey compatriot OP, MOTHER beat HIS daughter? Correct it, dear. |
proemmanuel:My dear, I know absolutely nothing about NB but for d possible question, I'll jux rehearse my past experiences & be confident to reply their questions. I JUST TRUST GOD FOR HELP but I'll keep browsing d net for info. |
hilaomo:Not sharing what d driving test entailed wasn't because I dont want others to scale past me but a matter of principle, fairness n godliness. I CANNOT TELL U EVERYTHING. Jux like many others said here, automatic n manual test driving, road signs & normal car maintenance. I was among d first group n I didn't do well with d signs shaaa... but here I am. Believe God n trust ur capabilities. |

The Igbo guy was was busy telling him how they call themselves the Jews of Africa
