The matter may be delayed till May 29 and a sole administrator may be appointed

INEC obeyed court order against Rivers APC hence they will obey this one too.

Finally to the best of my knowledge A4C is leading, the court case now seems to me to be a delay tactics to get woke step aside and contest the election under a military sole administrator

This is the best decision and only option. On or before Friday the court will rule in favour of the incumbent governor as the earlier INEC decision was illegal.

The court will order a rerun based on the electoral Act.

This is a welcome development.

I agree with you, since it was cancelled it's illegal for the INEC to collate the results.

What INEC would have done was to suspend the results, that way it would have been legal collating the result again and announcing it.

AAC won in Abua Odual, Ahoada east, Ahoada West, Degema, Gokana, Akuku Toru, Asari Tori, Emohua, Ikwerre, , Opobo/ Nkoro

While the PDP has won in Etche, Omuma, ogu / bolo, Ogba Egbema/ Ndoni

The margin of defeat by the AAC at the moment is about 326. 112

In other not to call this a fake news, I urge the Mods and both the APC and PDP supporters here on Nairaland to see this update as a speculation as on the INEC are empowered by law to declare results.

Full collation will be completed latest 5pm on Tuesday 19th March while results will be announced on Wednesday 20th March.

Please note that Obio Akpor LGA result remains cancelled.

I had expected the PDP. Atiku and the lawyers to follow up at the court for INEC to be served the court order that making dirty statement to get public sympathy as usual

I can confirm that up till 4pm on Friday the INEC legal department has not received the court order.

PDP should wise up and stop this childish act.

AAC has won the election, INEC delaying based on security advice given by the military and police, they want the tension to calm down and they announce the results.

If INEC had declared the results there would have been crisis then.
