Cross river is not biafra yen yen yen
If they've truly conquered the peninsula, then it's a good thing... But expanding from there takes a good strategist! cool
The state Cross River has a population that's majority pro Biafra, also not densely populated, so with a series of tactical manoeuvres, the Nigerian army in the state can be decisively beaten and all the territories East of the River Cross occupied.
With the occupation of the territories sandwiched between the River and the Ambazonian/Cameroonian border, the invading army can rest and regroup for further offensives West across the River into AK, Abia and Ebonyi states.

South eastern states are not serious about IGR, businesses don't pay tax, people don't pay, local governments don't collect tenament rate, it is only few hotels, banks and fuel stations that pay.
For the SE, most indigenes resident in the region live in the rural areas.. And in such areas, the state govt authority is just absent.

Bayelsa is predominantly Ijo, urhobo and isoko.. with Igboid minorities from the Ukwualị and Ẹkpẹyẹ tribes.

I don't think the Igbo-speaking people of Rivers state will want Bayelsa reattached to Rivers state, for Ijaws to commence their usual marginalisation games against the other ethnic groups.

But as the only Ijaw state, one will expect that the state is run well as a beacon of hope to Ijaws elsewhere, so it is very disappointing that they appear in the bankruptcy list with Aboki states
It was because of Bayelsa that I put the other caveat of neighbouring states with stable IGR kos i know that the Igboid majority of Rivers State won't want Bayelsa back.. this is a position that they've held as far as the 1958 willink conference
Bayelsa should be merged to delta state
Politics / Re: 7 States In Nigeria Declared Bankrupt! by cheruv: 8:49am On Sep 11, 2021

The states should simply be merged back to the states they were created from... Or to neighbouring states with stable IGR

Exactly what I was telling you yesterday.
I agree wholeheartedly that former Biafra is not tenable this period, but Biafra is a memory that all Igbo families have a share in.
For me, i subscribe to a homogeneous Igbo Nation, a state in which all Igboid tribes would be part of.. although we can still admit tribes in the Cross river Valley that are enthusiastic about joining the Igbos wherever they go

Nwagozu, Okorie : This is an Igbo community all through. Interestingly the Isoko continued to claim this communities as theirs through one unscrupulous Isoko monarch in a neighboring community.
Isoko is another ethnicity that's eyeing Ukwualị territories both in Delta and Bayelsa States.

Interesting.
This where we need a strong well funded Aggressive Igbo nationalism movement, to reach out to such individuals, oil their palms if need be, do some community projects in the community and Mount a sign board indicating that it was done by an Igbo body in the spirit of Igbo brotherhood.
Simple things like renovation of their dilapidated community primary and secondary school, providing chairs that would have logo and Igbo tag well printed on it.
These things are not hard, the only thing missing is the purposeful leadership.
You've got good ideas... But why are they not going anywhere? undecided

We can't condemn Lugard for giving us a name and still choose a name given by Portuguese sailors, how then are you better than Nigerians?
Moreover we hinterland Igbos have no direct connection to Birth of Biafra since those who live by the Coast of Biafra said they are not interested in forming a country with us.It is like the Serbs of Serbia retaining Yugoslavia after the disintegration of that country or Russia retaining USSR as her name after the colapse of the union. It does't make sense.Biafra only makes sense when all the people of old Eastern region are involve.Opugo that suggested that name to Ojukwu is from Bayelsa and him people say they no do again, why must you continue with it even when we nolonger have access to the birth of Biafra as a ressult of Ijaw pullout from the union?
You can be sensible at atimes
