Politics / Re: Opobo Kingdom And Igbo Language by cheruv: 1:19pm On Sep 06, 2021
Ariani:
Good thread.
But that Opobo and Bonny speak Igbo language as their mother tongue should be common sense nah.

One day, we will sit down and talk about the genocide Adaka Boro and his Ijaw people from Ghana committed against the Igbos of Bonny and Opobo.
This is why a multi ethnic BIAFRA with Ijaws and other minorities is strongly opposed by well learned Igbos, because such an arrangement will prevent us from serving out full justice to these unrepentant minorities who rode on the back of Hausa-Fulani to decimate Igboland.

We will continue to insist on Igbo only Biafra. Because we have lots of score to settle at the appropriate time with these people.

Actually i think you are wrong.

Igbos are actually just being manipulated. And its easy because times are hard. The truth is that there is no tribe that wont consider forming their own country as things are tough, the assumption being that their own country would be better off. But one thing i know is that it never works that way. Most times those championing secession do so only out of selfish interest. If Biafra breaks away today, nothing will change. [s]Its still the same set of greedy selfish people that will rule the country[/s]
This nonsense is why we recommend that non Igbos should remove their noses from Igbo issues to avoid saying nonsense!
The present elites we've in Igboland are there kos of Abuja syndrome, but in an independent Igbo state there'd be no Abuja, so it'd be much easier to deal with riffraffs like them.
That's why you don't see Igbo elites openly supporting secession, Kos Abuja offers them all the latitude they need to misbehave(eg Ụzọdịmma), which they know they'd NEVER get in a homogeneous Igbo Nation

The fact or crux of the matter is that you can not be more Igbo than the Igbo, just as no one can be more Catholic than the Pope.
Regarding Lagos, there are no Igbos in Lagos kos they've either relocated home or abroad.

[s]Nobody is intimidating the Igbos and relegating them to the background as 3rd-Class Citizens.

It is the domineering spirit & the Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) inherent in every Igbo that is responsible for your illusions & self-inflicted problems.

You are the real problem of Nigeria

Spoiling the image of the nation and giving it a bad name but your people peddle lies on the social media numerous Lies & Propaganda. Foolish Dubious & Criminally-Minded Lots!

It is okay to cheat and swindle people but whenever the consequences of your actions return to hunt you, you will begin to dish out lies & propaganda just to attract sympathy.

You go into crime, make little money and then start jumping up & down with your gra-gra & gri-gri complex, thereby attracting the attention of the Law Enforcement Authorities.

It is that same complex or disorder that made your people buy flight tickets to Dubai, UAE to go rob more than 10 Bureau De Change outlets in broad day light.

The same way Nnamdi Kanu placed an 100 Million Naira bounty on the head of a sitting Governor (Wike) for him to be killed.

Now that the vacuous bastard is in custody; If I were that Governor (Wike) and as vengeful as I am, what stops me from bribing some high-ranking DSS Operatives to poison him to death in detention just to get even?

I sincerely pray that you people get your Biafra but trust me, there won't be any great deal of difference between your utopian Nation & Somalia.

This is why we keep saying that majority of you people lack emotional intelligence and always do things with gra-gra & gri-gri.

You blame everybody for your woes except yourselves. Just like how iPob is blaming Wike for sponsoring the abduction & rendition of Lamidi Cownu from Kenya back to Nigeria, forgetting that you already declared him as your enemy by placing a bounty on his head.

You always act before you think and leap before you look. Anyways, that is his problem.

You will go and incite trouble and then start screaming blue-murder when the consequence of your actions boomerang; And that is when you will remember and start tagging CNN, BBC, ICC, USA, Donald Trump, Israel, & Amnesty International.

Nobody hates the Igbos. It's just a simple natural law of "reaping what you sow" that is in play.

You can't sow guava and expect to reap pineapple. Never!

Ancient wisdom teaches that Action begets Reaction, Cause begets Effects and Sequence begets Consequence.

You cannot be cursing & insulting every other ethnicity in Nigeria day and night, and expect all your hateful seeds not to germinate in them.

Lastly, when the NDLEA finally bursts E-Money & Obi Cubana's Cocaine-Trafficking syndicates, woe betides any Igbo that cry witchhunt or victimization because majority of you are naturally brain-dead from birth, and that is why all the prisons in the world are populated by your people[/s]

No, tell me since you are claiming they are Ijaw....

Just like we ask Agbor people who claim they aren't Igbo why do they speak Igbo then.....but their response is insults just because they couldn't find a logical answer. So , if you hate Igbo this much why do you keep giving your children Igbo names and continued to speak Igbo language ?

We adviced them to employ Bini language instructors and stop this nonsense of speaking Igbo that breeds confusions and always made Ndigbo see them as Igbo....but they never want to leave this inferior Igbo language everybody hates.
Regarding the Ịka...
Dialect leveling is affecting them seriously... Unlike the Ịka lect that was spoken in the 40s and 50s, the Ịka spoken now is almost like enuanị variant... And in another 20-30 years, their dialect would just be like standard Igbo
