Good day my fellow nairalanders, this is actually happening to a close friend right now, she asked me for advice but am too angry I might advice her wrongly.

She has been married to her husband for four years they have two kids a boy and a girl now she's pregnant with their third child and her husband is insisting on abortion. She said she discussed many ways of guiding against pregnancy with her husband immediately dey had their second child but d man agreed to none of it, now she's pregnant he's insisting on getting rid of it saying he cannot cater for 3 children, his a contractor and God helps him they are averagely ok as a middle class Nigerian the wife is a civil servant who works in a public school on grade level 5 salary she's a graduate and has hope she will be elevated to a higher level wen d time comes, she so confused on what to do she's very scared of abortion and I can't even advice her to do it
Pls advice her on what to do cos her husband keeps threatening her.

Yes u can make moimoi with no oil.
Normally, this is how I do mine.
Blend beans,onions,that long pepper(cayenne),tatashe, fish,if fish is not available!sardine and a cube of knorr. As per fish, I will remove d bones after steaming.
Then add salt to taste. Sometimes I add d sardine oil or I can do without it.
And it comes out good.

Eating healthy is d best o.

I have a very lovely testimony.
For close to 15 yrs my FIL has been on diabetics med.
I insisted he come and stay with me. Changed his regular routine, looked for healthy recipe(it was war, at times he will bring me to tears with his wahala, lol), he kept on rejecting some food, I keep on giving him those food that after one month, he reduced his drugs to half. Two months after, dr pronounced him diabetics free.

He was surprised when dr said no more drugs for u.

I gave this testimony so we all will know d value of eating healthy food. It's a choice.

This is a wonderful topic,wen I see children of nowadays doing d unthinkable,i get goose pimples all over my body,i av a neighbour who has a daughter of 14yrs,she has jst finished her junior waec,her mum caught a short note in her pocket telling her friends abt a guy who jst toasted her and she agreed,describing how handsome d boy is,the mother believes in beating children for correction and wen I mean "BEAT" u need to witness one of d scenario despite dat,d girl still does all d things she's been beaten for.d father on d other hand works in ph dis makes me think if it would av been beta if d parents are togeda to train Her. I pray to God to grant us d knowledge of d best way to train our children. The cloths our children wears is also anoda point to take note.

MumZ: dis style is cald goin 'cold turkey' n its can b very painful. i used it wen i wantd 2 wean my boy, i hd 2 mke sure i wasnt d 1 caring him wen he was cryn. i wasnt my self 4 almost a wk. i sugest u reduce d no of feeds u usually gve like sme1 suggestd, dis sends a signal 2 ur body n d milk productn starts 2 reduce. b4 u knw it d milk as dried up. its beta dan jst stopn 1ce o. dat 1 na punishmt 4 mother n child.

jst pick a day u will like to stop,den Dnt give her trough out d day and d night,jst giv her tea or anything she likes wen she cries at nyt,den as for u,u will wear ur bra day and nyt take it off only wen u want to take ur bath,ur bre.st will be swollen and painful jst endure and take paracetamol to ease d pain,jst make sure u dont press or pump d milk if u do,it will be like u are still feeding ur baby.do it for like 3 to 4 days or until d milk dries off Dats all.

@sennykenny it seems we share same view on the diaper and the cream,i gbadun huggies more than anyoda diaper and as for the cream i used shea butter frm day one and started mixing ABF cream wen my baby was 3mth till now,u need to see his skin it glows all the tym a lot of people do ask me the name of the cream he's using

@all yesternight i felt baby kick alot particularly at d lower right of my tummy i dont know what part of her body that is there o. What scared me most is that the kick was disturbing me that i could not sleep. Is it normal for sm1 to b disturbed with babys kick i tot they said the kick is enjoyable. I actually prayed for it to stop so i could sleep. Though it was not painful but funny
