Hi all. I was just thinking, from an economic perspective, is it advisable to share money to all Nigerians in this pandemic period? Won't that result in Inflation/HyperInflation? I am just looking at the economic angle of this.

I am aware that this is currently done in the US, but I just want to hear our opinions. I also understand that there is hunger in the land but, kindly note that this is merely a discussion before you bash me

Global economy is down bro.
It has no meaning abeg, the entire world would emerge stronger provided there is a sensible economic team for each country.
This is the best time to do all the abrakadabra.

You must have read about the name either on the internet or whenever you search for the word 'scholarship', or if you use your email service regularly like gmail, yahoomail etc, there is this pop up of UNICAF UNIVERSITY and you are wondering what is it all about? Probably you have been saying this is another scam from some bad African guys in UK or US, trying to take your hard earned money!
Relax! I will give you an up to date info on what it is and how it works and I will also let you know how I got the scholarship for my MBA which I'm currently running, started last year with other colleagues. The programme fee is 12,000 pounds at University of South Wales, but offered at less than 4000 pounds by UNICAF. Briefly this is what UNICAF is;
UNICAF is a registered organisation in UK, US, Cyprus, some countries in Africa and also in Nigeria, the parent company is in Cyprus
It's aim is to bring quality world class education to poor region through SCHOLARSHIPS.
It is first a school and also has a platform for learning
It operates according to global standard for online education.
It is in Africa as an on campus in Zambia and Malawi
It has a standard VLE for learning i.e Virtual Learning Environment, which simulates the class room process
Its operates online for students from any parts of the world and their programmes are self paced.
UNICAF partners with some Universites to recruit students on their behalf and also deliver the learning to the student while the partner schools determine the quality (QAQC) which is set by the schools, the programmes are online and payment is very flexible
Unicaf Univerities in Malawi and Zambia programmes are both online and oncampus.
UNICAF has partnered with these Universities in the past;
Marymount California University USA
University of Nicosia, Cyprus
University of SouthWales, Uk
All the above schools offered their programmes online on UNICAF, through UNICAF's VLE Virtual Learning Environment(VLE)

go initiative but in wrong direction. we have the Oodua Investment Company, one of the first and early conglomerate in Nigeria belonging to the entire core western state of which Lagos State recently joined, is there wasting away in all potentials.
Lagos Airport Hotel, Lafia and Premier Hotel both in Ibadan belongs to the Oodua Group. Wema Bank and formal national bank was a property of Oodua before the later merged during the capitalization regime.
Oodua use to be one of the strong construction company the nation would boast of back then, I could remember they had the strongest real estate company way back. they own the franchise to Pepsi Cola before selling it off.
the most recent is the establishment of O'Net the telecom company that was established at the onset of the deregulation of the telecom industry, this is barely functioning if at all it is still in existence.
order than keep creating and creating why don't we strengthen the existing structures and institutions to function well. just like people clamouring for state police, I kind of laugh, why? we never return to drawing board to know why the existing structure fail we believed it failed so erecting another is the only solution to perfection. No.
the leaders should build on what is contently existing make it work hence if we see the need for a parallel structure to run along side as a result of success recorded then good for all.

It took Fashola less than 8 years to link Lekki to Ikoyi via the beautiful link bridge.
Why is this project taking so long?
This bridge will go down in history as the first federal-owned tolled bridge in Nigeria...no thanks to Goodluck Jonathan.
