My father was flogged at school
I was flogged at school
My children will be flogged at school

Exactly!
But some teachers over do it o. I believe in flogging a child to correct/ discipline the child. Not beating the child like an animal.

Career / Re: My Boss And I(he Wouldnt Pay Me Nor Sack Me) by Chibabe1(f): 8:56am On Jul 23, 2015
Exactly! Your destiny ain't tied to that damn company. Take charge of you before you lose it.

Your boss is only looking for who to blame for his own shortcomings.

All the best!

shalomm:
No matter What, There should be respect for human dignity. if he says his company is going down because of you, why not quit the Job?

Your destiny is not tied to the company

How will God answer your prayer when you are not ready to leave "Egypt"

My God has never failed anyone.

Nairaland / General / Does True Love Exist? by Chibabe1(f): 12:53pm On Nov 07, 2006
Sometimes i wonder if true love exist because it's hard to tell if someone truly loves you.
Some may be professing he/she loves you but deep inside, it is not true.
So how do you know if true love really exist? Do you have to put the person to a test?
I want your honest opinions please.

Family / Re: Why Do Married Men Run After Young Girls? by Chibabe1(f): 10:35am On Nov 02, 2006
@ chidichris: get something right man, most times it is not the girls that give the body language, the men do!

For instance, the men that run after me, i did not give any signs or dress provocatively( which i don't) but they just keep coming!

Tell me, is it now a crime to be beautiful, well mannered and God fearing? cos am sure thats wat they see and they trip for these qualities a lot.

See, they even say they want me for a second wife! shocked shocked shocked but God forbid cos i want to be numero-uno in my husband's house. grin grin grin

Fashion / Re: Should Women Dress More Modestly? by Chibabe1(f): 10:18am On Oct 31, 2006
Appearance is so important. It is your appearance( your dressing) that one sees first and judges one with it.

First impression matters in every aspect of life; so i urge women to dress modestly!

No man wants a woman who exposes herself for a wife!

Culture / Re: Inter-tribal Relationships by Chibabe1(f): 12:27pm On Oct 10, 2006
Many of us would want to marry who we love irrespective of their tribe.

But our parents are always the problem!

If you go ahead and force them to accept that person who is not from your tribe that marriage is always not rosy.

Problems with inlaws especially mother-inlaws is definitely going to be an everyday thing!

If asked, i advice one marries from his or her tribe.
