Sulemanial:The same old Nigeria mentality that keeps dragging us backward. Power plants are not sited for political reasons in advanced countries. Its localised based on potentials of the location to aid easy generation, closeness to fuel or water source etc. |
Chukwuka16:The bolded is not true. Nigeria's installed capacity is up to 10GW and generates above 3GW on very good days. ...I am trying hard to understand your statement that "the differences in installed capacity and generation is in utilisation and time" |
suco01:Just save yourself the stress by leaving that car. Be patient. You will definitely get another better offer. |
Cromcruach91:The bolded is a very big fat lie. |
Thank you very much. DonnyT: |

We are talking about cars45 making full disclosure on the state of the cars they sell and you are rambling about Nigeria car maintenance culture. We all know that most Nigerians dont maintain their cars well. If cars45 wants to exist for long, it had better start saying the truth on state of the cars that it sells. I dont blame you cars45 dealers though. I blame people that visit those 2 yards of yours and agree to buy those crappy cars of yours after seeing their state because you just wrote a whitewashed report about them. helpishere: |
I will advice that you should be very careful. Don't believe that talk that the AC gas needs to be refilled. AC system is a closed one. Gas does not leak out unless there is a leakage somewhere in the piping system. Even if you refill it without fixing the piping leakage it will still leak out. Troubleshooting the exact leakage point is always tedious for old cars like that. Also, its almost impossible to get a sound camry 2000 for 300k. So while going for inspection be very careful and vigilant. They may be after harvesting your head and not selling the car to you. Don't send money to anybody till you physically inspect the car. I advice that if you are interested in going to inspect the car, make sure that happens in an open place and do your due diligence. Almost all car sellers are liars. Only believe what you see on the car and not what he/she tells you. Shugarlord213: |
People are funny o. How will one actually agree to buy a Nigerian used car without test driving. I visited the 2 warehouses of cars45 in Ikeja when I was trying to buy a car. After they told me they don't test drive coupled with their dealer lieing to me that an obvious engine oil leakage from the car I went to inspect is from the power steering, I decided never to buy any car from them. Whether they agree or not, there is no full disclosure of the state of the cars to intending buyers. The worst mistake one can make is to depend on that their report. It didn't take me 5 mins of going through it to know its not reliable. I can only buy a car there if its way too cheap. Most cars there are crappy but overpriced. After my first visitation, I avoided all their adverts because I don't trust them. After 2 months of searching for cars online, I got a very good deal and I am very happy. IMPORTANT NOTES WHEN BUYING A NIGERIAN USED CARS *Never be in a hurry to buy a Nigerian used car. Don't be moved by dealers telling you that another person is coming to pay for it next minute. Do all due diligence inspection and analysis. *Almost all dealers are liars. Only believe what you see on the car. Don't believe that "the Ac needs gas topping". If its that, the dealers would have done it. The problem is always bigger. *Target individual sellers when trying to buy. You will get better deals and also understand how the car was used. *Crosscheck and verify all documents before you pay. If he refuses to show you the documents till you pay, just walk away quietly. |
There is nothing minor about overheating. I think you are bad at maintaining cars. Don't blame the poor Honda. How can you travel that distance with a car that is overheating and expect it to perform fine? That you traveled that far with an overheating car without fixing it first says so much about your car maintenance culture. |
You have been scammed. Jiji is not scam. Some sellers are like the one you met. Learn from this. You fell for a well known scamming format. Where did you say you are living that you aren't away of that format? Forget about being excessively lucky when buying a car. Sellers are not stupid. If it's excessively cheap, there is something fishy somewhere. Nurse your wound and move on. Such is life. |
Please check this VIN for me. 1HGCM56445A808394 |
Stop deceiving yourself. 1 million will never buy you a good SUV in perfect condition. Just respect yourself and buy one sedan and manage. You have not grown financially to own an SUV. Tell yourself that truth. |

Scholar8200:We don't worship on Sunday. Our worship day remains Saturday as directed by God and practised by Jesus while He was on earth. That was a tragic accident. May the souls of the departed rest in peace. |
I have a surveyor friend in the east and the guy makes money. If you switch back, you may not start making money immediately. Its a profession that requires time to build the clientele that will propel you. |
It's very safe. I have friends from Arochukwu that I can introduce to you for guidance if you want. |
Where is the picture? |
How much? |
Why don't you state the price of your ads? |
You are not serious. Why not put it up for sale at 10 million naira? Its only a fool that will buy this car at that price. I don't think we have fools in Nairaland. So, you are going to be with that car for a long period of time. |
750K. I am very serious |
DMM007:forget that corolla if that is yor budget. You cant get a good one at that price. |
Threads like this that divide us shouldnt be pushed to FP. Whether OP agrees it or not, ojukwu is respected by every igbo man. Even if he wasnt given a state burial, he would also have received a flamboyant burial. Lets talk about how Nigeria will move forward and stop talking about what happened years ago. |
Nothing to fix but the check engine light is on. Fear God |
