Christianity EtcRe: My 1 Years Old Is A Witch by chibjohn(m): 5:38pm On Oct 06, 2021
Handsomejok:
I have a big problem I separated with my wife because she was a witch and the cause of my downfall. I had the custody of our daughter who is now 1 years 6 months old.

After getting rid of the witch I taught my business will be better than before but no. Things become even hard for me I started experiencing body pain and unknown sickness and we have been to church where I was told my daughter Is a witch her mother has given her the mission to kill me.

After prayers and fasting my health is getting better now and I have been to 2 different churches just to confirm that my daughter is a witch and yes it is true. I have packed her stuffs and i took her to her mother but she is doesn't stay there anymore and I don't know her new address. I am not a wicked person but I don't want her in my house because I don't want to harm her and regret it. What do I have to do with a witch?
You are an idiot that doesn’t deserve a child. You will suffer more if you harm that innocent child by any means. Stupid people, stupid pastors and stupid churches. Religion is truly an opium of the masses.

This country is really messed up. There is wide spread poverty in the land. I read via all the comments and over 95% suggested that 150k is a good salary. While I believed it can be managed if you live frugal life, it can never give you a middle class comfortability. That’s mere $300.

DuduParaPara:
Hello guys, based on experience and relationship, which HMO will you recommend for people to register with as at today September 9th 2021?

I also don't know about NHIS if it's good.

Reason I'm asking this is most times salary earners are the ones who benefit from this HMO stuff cos it's being withdrawn from their salary.

Now what about business people and market people aren't they supposed to benefit?

What HMO would you recommend and how much is the plan?
I have used hygeia before but currently using AxaMansard. Based on my experience AxaMansard is the best. They have different plans for private people based on your affordability. Search them out online.

Please how did you do it? I need such expedited service.
CareerRe: Choosing Between Fg Job And Coca-cola Job by chibjohn(m): 7:57pm On Aug 07, 2021
NBC is a subsidiary of CCHellenic. I used to visit their head office in 2014 when I was working for their major contractor. Cchllenic has the major shares in NBC and hence they run the company. I am just hearing that NBC is part of AG Leventis. I only know that they use leventis building in Oyingbo as their HQ. There is no clear difference between NBC and CCHellenic, the only noticeable difference is that their top managers are transferred from other Coca-Cola locations in the world to Nigeria while they mostly recruit lower level workers in Nigeria.

He was given the wrong scanner though tongue
Apparently someone fraudulently claimed to be chibjohn and collected my gift. This is not me in the picture. I had not made any attempt in collecting the scanner since last year because of time. I normally have time to come around Lekki only on sundays and Radautoworks is closed on sundays. I was planning to go collect it tomorrow and had to call Blessing(the logistic manager who sent me her number via mail then)to tell her this morning. She mentioned that she thinks all the gifts has been issued out but that she will go via her list and confirm. On coming here, I noticed that someone has claimed the gift for winner 5 which is supposed to be me. If the guy intentionally claimed to be winner 5(chibjohn) and it was not out of mistake, then he is a fraud. This isn’t me in that picture.

Which still means that the person is useless in Nigeria of today. Civil and mechanical engineering is still better.

with physics, u can travel abroad and be relevant over there, then from there further in any course which interest you, somebody gave an example of after studying physics, then advance degree in economics, engineering will be waiting for you too.
That means the person is useless if he/she decides to stay in Nigeria. How dare you compare it with civil and mechanical engineering?

People like you are the reason Nigeria is backward, because you are a blunt lier. 99.9% of people who study that in my set have no job today.
Hey woman! I got no reason to lie so don’t call me a liar.
You mean a whooping 99.9% of people that studied mech Engr in your set has no job? If that’s true, then there is something definitely wrong somewhere. It’s either your school is so corrupt that they cheated their way out and so cannot fit into the real world or they all graduated with poor results. One thing most engineering courses teach students are analytical and maths skills that helps them in excelling in job tests. I know a lot of people that studied Engr but are doing fine in the big four auditing firms, banks and other areas.

This looks like a personal attack. My personality? Excuse you! How many of your coursemates are in the field? How much do you earn? I hope you encourage all your kids to study Mechanical Engineering.
Or maybe the grade you graduated with. I am in touch with most of my classmates. While they are not all practicing, most are.
I will not disclose my salary but I earn a decent amount according to Nigerian standard.
My kids can study whatever they want.
My younger bro is studying EEE which is his choice.

It isn’t. The OP was correct. I read Mechanical Engineering and Mech is literally useless in Nigeria. If it isn’t EEE, just study any 4year course and graduate.
I read mech Engr too and I am practicing it. Your problem is not the course but probably the personality.

tensazangetsu20:
A lot of Nigerian students especially those from high school still hold some archaic mentality that some courses are a sure way out of poverty. The situation of Nigeria and the future should make people dead that mentality o. If you arent from a rich family or well connected you should avoid studying some courses in Nigeria.

The following should be avoided except you are rich or well connected.

Medicine: This used to be a very sure way out of poverty. Just like 14 years back, even NYSC doctors were getting six figures. It was so good that even after NYSC and Housemanship, some doctors had bought nice cars or even built houses. The situation is totally different today. To get housemanship as a doctor na die and even when you get it you will be paid peanuts. To migrate out of the country as a doctor requires serious money which if you arent from a privileged home might be very difficult to meet. To also further as a doctor in Nigeria is very difficult as a lot of residency programs are based on who you know. Its no more about merit just as it used to be before yet every year thousands of teenagers kill themselves trying to get into medicine when they can get into other programs which are much more lucrative.

All Engineering Courses except Electrical/Computer engineering: Contrary to what a lot of people think, engineering a lot of branches of engineering are not as lucrative as people think they are. I was checking unilag's cut off the other day for my cousins and was shocked to find out that petroleum engineering has the highest cut-off point in the engineering department. That is a program that should be scrapped. Its glory days are over and never going to come back and its so restrictive yet a whole lot of brilliant people think killing themselves to study this is actually a good idea. Electrical and computer engineering are the only courses I can really advise anyone to go for as they are very much relevant in the ICT sector. Embedded systems, computer hardware, robotics alongside a host of others are mostly offshoots of these fields.
Lucrative alternatives to engineering that arent as competitive are computer science, mathematics and physics. [s]Someone intending to study civil engineering or mechanical engineering in Nigeria should go for physics. There's practically no place a mechanical or civil engineer can work in this world that someone with a degree in physics cant work.[/s]

Law: I wont say much here but if you love poverty, this is an amazing course to study. If you are from arts class, instead of law go for a degree in English. At least with a TEFL certificate and an English degree you can get good jobs teaching English in asia and latin america.

Another thing that might help is that before you study a course, go on linkedin. Create a profile, go to linkedin jobs and check specifically how many jobs exist for your course in Nigeria, Africa and globally.

Nigeria isnt funny anymore to waste time on nonsense and funny as it is, Nigeria of today is a paradise compared to the Nigeria coming so folks should help themselves.
You are high on cheap drugs for making this statement. How dare you compare physics with mechanical and civil engineering? How many job adverts do you see with requirements of a physics degree?

CultureRe: How Ihedigbo Mbaukwu's Mother Was Killed By Village Deity Over Adultery by chibjohn(m): 4:48pm On May 17, 2021
fidelisujah:
How Ihedigbo Mbaukwu's Mother was Killed by Village Deity over Adultery

Mr Ihedigbo Mbaukwu is a bank staff of Polaris Bank and a regular commentator on social media. While Mbaukwu gives the impression of a man of virtues of himself before the public and bitterly castigates others ringing falsehood around them in the public domain, little did people know that Mbaukwu himself is a source of controversy back in his Umuokwom Ohiya village in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, a controversy that eventually led to his mother being killed by their village Deity.

The story has it that Ihedigbo Mbaukwu is a product of extra marital affairs by his late mother who concealed her adulterous ways and made it look like her husband was the owner of the pregnancy. It is said that in Umuokwom Ohiya village, it is a taboo of deadly consequences for a woman to have extra marital affairs. It is a great offence to the deity of the village that has no antidote. The only antidote is for the culprit to quickly confess and some rituals would be carried out on her thereaftee as a way of "cleansing the land"! But if she refuses to confess despite what the villagers term "a series of warning sicknesses" from the deity over the years, she would be hit with one final one from which she can never recover. What is more, if she still decides to die without confessing, then the deity will go for the offspring(s) resulting from the adulterous affair, and as many of them will die mysteriously.

It was at this point that Ihedigbo's mother admitted to the villagers that her son Ihedigbo was a product of some of her adulterous affairs and that she pushed it to her husband in order to cover her shame. She pleaded for forgiveness before giving up the ghost on December 7, 2011, at just 45 years old.

This shameful occurence account for why Ihedigbo never celebrates his mum's milestones posthumously, whether birthday, Mother's Day or such other occasions, unlike many others who lose their mums do. It is said that till date, Ihedigbo Mbaukwu has not forgiven his mum for bringing such a shame to him and their family, the reason, he had to relocate away from his State to another.

It is also said this is the same reason Ihedigbo, despite his regular writings and posting pictures of other people on social media, particularly his Facebook page, never ever posts his mother's picture. In fact, in an attempt to wipe out the shameful memory his mother left behind, Ihedigbo does not celebrate his father or siblings except himself.

The saddest part is that Ihedigbo's mother did not get to show him who his real father is before she died as she was too sick and close to death when she confessed her adulterous ways. Even at that, the people of Umuokwom Ohiya said it would even have been difficult for them to believe her if she had pointed to any man as being Ihedigbo's father because of the multiple affairs she was having with men then.

She was eventually thrown away into the forest by the traditional priests of the village, hence, no poster of her burial can be seen anywhere, not then, not now!
If I hadn’t attended the mother’s burial I may probably have believed you a little. You are very wicked to say that she was thrown into the forest. I know Ihedigbo personally and attended the mother’s burial.
You should not have stoop this low to write this trash. You should focus on him and leave the woman to Rest In Peace.
PhonesRe: Sim Swap/Retrieval Problems: Share Your Experiences Nairalanders by chibjohn(m): 9:26pm On Feb 19, 2021
I am facing almost the same issue. Got a new phone that uses and esim and/or nano sim. I have two active lines and need them to be active on one phone as I hate carrying two phones around. I just need MTN to upgrade my line to esim and that hasn't been possible for two weeks now. The story has always been no network on NIN portal for verification as they are directed by NCC to verify everybody's identity on NIN portal before effecting any change whatsoever on any line. The last time I went there, my car was bashed by an okada man while going back home and I am presently fighting with my insurance company to fix it.

I don't think the mobile networks are to be blamed. NCC is wholely to be blamed as they gave a directive when their system isn't ready to support it. It's still the Nigerian government inefficiency issues. They will just wake up one day with a law to suffer the masses.

That's the excuse most of you give when you monkey hunt.

You go and buy a good quantity of a dead nonsense stock that has been lying around on 20kobo and create unusual activity there.

Then come here to announce as if you are unaware that you are the one that bought the same units you are announcing here.

and when newbies flock there to buy innocently, you sell on them and bail.

and you think you are doing well undecided

Karma is waiting for you
Please stop this... We are all adults here. Anybody playing in the market should understand the risks involved. This will discourage people with genuine info in the future from opening up. We all know that no one can say with absolute certainty the market direction. The best we can have are intelligent guesses.

Thanks for the mention, MuttleyLaff.

Jesus Christ made it clear especially to the hypocritical and legalistic Pharisees, that He was greater and above the law of Moses that instituted the Sabbath. He is Lord over all things created, in heaven, on earth and even beneath the earth. As creator, Jesus Christ was the Lord of the Sabbath and the creator is always and above His creation.
The law of Moses didn't institute the Sabbath. The Sabbath was instituted by God after creation. God rested on the seventh day and blessed it.
Christianity EtcRe: Lord Of The Sabbath-what Did Jesus Mean Here? by chibjohn(m): 9:31am On Dec 13, 2020
CalliDora1:
What he meant there was, He is above the Sabbath that the men were trying to honor more than Him. Which was why he said, the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. In other words, man has control over the Sabbath hence can choose to treat it however he wants but the Sabbath has no control over man and shouldn't determine man's behavior or activities.
The bolded is not what that passage means. It simply means that the Sabbath was made for the benefit of man and not the other way round. Man has no control over the Sabbath and their is no where in the Bible God said man can treat the Sabbath however he wants. The Sabbath is sacred and holy. The only issue then was that Jews were so strict about the Sabbath to the point of stopping humanitarian acts just to keep the Sabbath. That is what Christ explained there. The Sabbath is made for the benefit of man and shouldn't stop any humanitarian act.

CHALLENGE 10 IS LIVE!
As part of our plan to change the auto repair climate in Nigeria, the stigma of being "just a mechanic" has to change. With cars becoming more advanced and increasingly relying on computers, being a technician is actually a high skill, reputable job that pays well. It is not uncommon for our techs to take home 100-200k a month.

With that in mind, we once hosted a group of young ladies.
1) What was the name of the society we partnered with for this?
2) what was the name of the school the ladies were from?
3) what activities did they do?
4) what date did this happen?

And Coro and ASUU too... it makes me to loose my business
Now am waiting for God to start the battle.
Are you sure your father is actually fighting you as you think? Hope one useless person that calls himself man of God or woman of God didn't tell you so? Your father may just be giving you a safe distance having heard you accuse him. I haven't seen a father that will fight for the downfall of his child. Most of the purported issues are engineered by these fraudster fake pastors.
That was how my uncle was deceived by such a pastor that his wife that gave him 4 beautiful children and resigned a bank managers role to look after the family was trying to kill him. It disorganized his family. The man wasted many years with another evil woman who left him when he lost his job and there was no money again. Today he can barely see and has gone back to his real wife who accepted him despite how he treated her. May God continue to bless her.
