there are many sides to a story different assertions. but there is one fact that I know under mrs Allison tenure there was oil boom, crude oil was sold for over $100 per barrel, and excess crude account depleted Mrs Allison what is your argument |
"Unfortunately, my boss fell ill and was rushed to King Edward Hospital and the meeting was aborted" am I the only one who read this, even the former President of Nigeria didn't trust his healthcare system but preferred that of mama charlie transformation indeed!! |
I detest the way APC and PDP online scums throw tantrums at each other rather than facing the real issue of nation building who is suffering more from this financial recklessness of exorbitant impunity by maintaining such large aircraft, at whose cost? all this aircraft maintenance is on every Nigerian head, your commonwealth it is high time we start thinking with our head and fave the real issue Buhari campaign promise and joda recommendation was to make this Paf our national carrier have we asked Mr President why it is taking so long? |
if Nigeria does not kill corruption, corruption would kill Nigeria >Buhari |
lezz:I see clearly you do not understand this conflict if you blame this act of terrorism on refugee immigrant you are not different from the satanic ISIL , report have shown that the perpetrators of this act are French citizens who left France and fought alongside the jihadist and returned to France the refugees you are blaming are running away from the same acts of barbarism that occurred in Paris last night, if it were the refugees,Greece would have been a very soft target or even Germany or Slovenia I would implore you to always get your fact right before making assertions against people who have gone through a whole lot to get to Europe |
death toll has risen to 149 and its expected to increase according to cnn |
Paris (CNN)— Scores of people are reported dead after what are being called terror attacks across Paris. Police early Saturday freed hostages at a concert hall where more than 100 people may have died. The attacks seemed to be planned to hit areas where many people would be gathered on a Friday night, officials said. CNN will update this story as information comes in: As many as 118 people were killed in the attacks in Paris, Deputy Mayor Patrick Klugman said Saturday. • CNN affiliate BFMTV reports that SWAT units stormed the Bataclan concert hall and that the siege is over. Two attackers were killed, a police union said. Police have brought out at least 100 hostages from the concert hall, a CNN producer said; some appear to be wounded. President Francois Hollande was on his way to the concert venue, according to French news agency AFP. One of the explosions at the Stade de France outside Paris appears to be a suicide bombing, a Western intelligence source receiving direct intelligence from the scene told CNN's Deb Feyerick. A dismembered body, consistent with the aftermath of an explosion from that type of device, was found at the scene, the source said. Watch: Explosion heard at Paris soccer game • People were inviting people off the streets into their apartments, reports Philip Crowther, Washington correspondent for France 24. They are following Hollande's direction to stay indoors. • Traffic on several subway lines has been interrupted following the attacks, the Paris police prefecture reported. • At this hour, there is no credible or specific threat in the United States, according to a U.S. government official. • Hollande, in an address to the nation, said he had declared a state of emergency, meaning borders will be closed. "We have to show compassion and solidarity and we also have to show unity and keep our cool. France must be strong and great," he said. |
the death toll is over 118 now and over a hundred held hostage, it is a really scary situation watching this unfold seven separate coordinated attack. ISIL is the culprit this is a classic commando style attack perpetrated by ISIIL, France is renowned for a very good intelligence network but this happened in Paris of all places the jihadist are celebrating on social media with hashtag #parisonfire |

is it compulsory for us to play the ethnic card anytime a government appointment is made, some times I believe southerners are the biggest ethnic bigot, can't we criticize on merit rather on ethnicity and stop raising antisemitic assertions. OP am sorry for you I feel for you, ethnic bigotry is a cancer and I feel you are affected you had better fix it before it kills you. |
i live in a country where lives do not have value, to those in power 22 is just a number but these 22 have names, families ,relations and dreams and now they have been cut short untimely. Mr ambode your response here is the same thing the economist magazine wrote about excuses, even the blind can see that Lagos roads are not safe under your watch. stop complaining and face the business of governance you have to prove to lagosians that you are capable because we all know that it is OBA akinolu that picked you for governor, my guy no time. 2019 is here and we would bring in agbaje to replace your yansh |

rusher14:there are some good heads in PDP, the problem is there are devilish mind that undermine the effort of legitimate democracy lovers in the PDP do you believe in the APC my brother that union is coming to an halt after Buhari tenure, I believe PDP can up their game modalities will soon be in place I promise you. |
time would test their competency, but am pretty sure if any of them tries to mess up Nigerians are well prepared to roast them alive. those portfolios for me is well shared in accordance to the people involved let see them get to work I wish them well and hope they make Nigeria great |
being factual that road has not eased traffic on ikorodu road, most morning I spend almost 3hours from ikorodu to Ikeja I believe its an over bloated contract the money spent on the road and what the road looks like relatively is a slap on lagosian how many kilometre is the road, how many lanes does it have ? all na wash |
I am a PDP member and the misgivings and impunity in the leadership of the party made PDP a laughing stock in the face of Nigerians , for me I believe the complete overhaul of the PDP leadership would give room for leaders who would serve their constituents. also olisa metuh must leave the office of spokesman he is a loud mouth no good fellow, he was part of the people that brought disastrous woes to the PDP, most time when I hear him speak baseless and without fact, I hide my face behind my hands watching him during the presidential campaigns I knew he was a disadvantage to the PDP. internal democracy should flourish, PDP should stop fielding unpopular candidates for office against the wish oaf the delegates, if PDP wants to be great again there should be a systemic overhaul of all the states chairman that allowed the disruption of internal democracy and give room for the youth something like a mentoring process where youth are brought on board for governance. lastly if they have to beat APC in 2019, PDP state governors have the buck of the work to do by showcasing leadership by example and a conservative approach to government, stop wasteful spending and improve the economic value of their state a good example is ekiti state governor, the light in the dark PETER AYODELE FAYOSE if PDP could adhere to this then 2019 is ours. |
a politicians pecks of office shouldn't be more than a level 12 civil servant, the only reason corruption hasn't left Nigerian politics is because of the over bloated resources given to political offices. |
this is a silly post trying to blame this government for this economic woes, the statistics have always indicated it would be like this because of the previous government economic policies, the downward thread of the oil price is a Catalyst and also financial recklessness of the previous administration. basically am not in support of this administration which have not brought about clear economic policies, however one should not be hasty to judge and commit the blunder of blaming them of the losses procured by this multinationals companies it is madam ngozi and her economic team. |
all this hate....and my people suffer because of ignorance. |
"if". Biafra finally liberates herself from Nigeria the same leadership problem crippling Nigeria would cripple Biafra too. the sooner Igbo people start embracing Nigeria the better for them all this anti Semitism should stop me I love naija and am a proud IBO boy! |
all this anti Semitism should stop, what is all this jagons that Nigeria has fallen this is treason and a call for division can Nigerians handle a revolution? people should be careful of what they say look at Syria and learn. there is nothing wrong in pointing the ills of the society but we should do so tactfully and not gra gra. my IBO people better don't dwell on the Biafra ideology which is even worse than the acclaimed zoo you leave in but should rather change the narrative and talk about the pogrom and genocide that occurred in the sixties and tell Nigerians the real reason you are agitated, any crisis now could led to unimaginable circumstances it is better we become wise and act with wisdom so we won't resort to that terrible word "no victor, no vanquished" |
please they should talk about the interest rates in banks, all these rich people at this summit don't know what we young people face to sustain our little business. |
I hope all this talks transcends into the economy, clearly this people are experts but we know the institutions are crippled with nepotism and corruption, implementation is the problem. someone should tell oby she is not a saint. why is she here anyway. |
with people like oyinlola on the list, Nigeria anti corruption war is dead on arrival! |
I fear for the future of lagosians, this people have mortgage the future of Lagos, they are already running a deficit budget and still wasn't an upper review of the budget this is just immoral |
