adebaba5:With your certificate and experience, you should be able to get a positive outcome as either in 312311 or 312312. I got a positive outcome for 312311 via CDR without including my experience. I didn't claim points for experience as I only did it to add point to my wife |
Snillous:What kind of visa did you apply for? |
Godzgal:Bringing food items to Aussie is a bit complicated as they don't allow alot of things to enter. Fishes are not allowed, seeds are not allowed too. For example, if you want to bring in egusi, you must grind it, seal it, write both the real name and botanical name, date of production and expiration etc. The stress does not worth it. There are people who specialises in bringing in food stuffs to Australia and I don't know how they do it. We bring in food stuffs through them. PM me so I could give you their number if you are interested. Go to fb and search for Nigerians in Australia and follow the page. For the whatsApp, the groups are segmented based on states or territories where you are based. Tickets are really expensive at the moment. But they will become cheap within February and March. Check out for Emirates or Qatar airways. They is a low cost carrier called 'china southern airlines'. I don't know if they fly to Nigeria. Goodluck. |
TypicallyBrunt:Hahahahahahaha. You guys know how to dig out information. But the guy is good at writing English sentences judging by his write ups; or, did he fail speaking, reading and listening components? Relocation most times is not by having all the required documents. You still need grace and favour before your VO. I can remember while I was applying for my wife's visa last year in Dubai, we were about 8 people doing the process; but my wife's visa was approved and others were denied. The funny thing is that, my wife was the least qualified among everyone as she did not write IELTS and I did not submit POF to the VO. I only submitted my business license while others submitted both their business license and even more than the required POF but they were still denied Visa on account that the VO was not convinced that the guys would return to their country after their education in Australia. |
ednut1:Don't mind that fellow. He is only good at constructing good sentences. He knows nothing about how good and better the life of the OP has become. Australia does not even need people in their country let alone trying to entice you to come. It even got more irritating when he said the western world pays online bloggers to advertise their country to make it good so as to entice people to come. Life is a choice. Let the OP live with the consequences of his decision while you live with yours. For me, the best decision I have made in my entire life is to move to Australia 🇦🇺. |

Hychineson:If this is true, then, the crowd around him killed him. You can imagine people crowding him with such noise just to take a picture and video of him to create content. You don't crowd someone in such situation, you don't carry him either. We actually lack basic first aid and CPR sense as citizens of Nigeria |
esamade:Sure. Dm |
Bigbrothergisth:At 45, you already have age disadvantage to travel. Your best bet is to invest in your spouse (If she is reliable and trusted) like the OP who did thesame at age 48, and hope everything goes well. |
AmuDimpka:I am beginning to think your family is under serious satanic siege. You guys need family deliverance ASAP to cutoff all negative evil reoccurance. Only you, your family members are stranded in Australia and cannot afford flight ticket back to Nigeria. Now, another two members of your family died in US without coming home. Who una offend? May their souls rest in peace |
Ikemba007:Immigration and emigration is not a thing for Nigerians alone. The original owners of Australia are the Indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia who are black in colour and few in number. A lot of people from the UK migrated to Australia and are now the policy makers while the original owners are been sidelined. So, your priorities in life determines where you will decide to settle. It is not a thing of black or white In Australia, most citizens here are not Aboriginals and torresl |
Ikemba007:The OP is a professional who can get back to his profession any time soon. All he needs is get certified by Australian standard and he is good to go. Age is not really an issue here. In as much you are still active, you can land any job of your choice. Now tell me, should he sit at home waiting until he gets certified? Your Nigerian certificate is worthless here until you up your game. Even if you are a medical doctor and come to Australia to study, you MUST do similar jobs until you are done with your studies. There is no big deal about it at all. Most people remain poor because of their ego. When it comes to making money, I will do anything legally possible as long I will not depend on anyone to afford my basic needs in life. Enjoy your graduate status... |
Ikemba007:You are so confident displaying ignorance. Rent is paid either weekly or every fortnight (2 weeks). And yes, rent a week ranges between $600-$800 a week. I earn ( $43 morning rate $47 afternoon rate, $49 Night rate) per hour on weekly basis, depending on shift I pick. Now, Saturday rate is $58 per hour and Sunday is $75 per hour. Public holiday is $95 per hour. Note, some companies pay higher than that while some pay lower. Now, assuming I work 10 hours on Sunday, (I am paid 10×75= $750 on Sunday alone. Let assume tax of 50 is taken from Sunday shift, my total take home on Sunday is $700 ( I can decide to work double shift on sunday i.e, doing 10 hours in one company and another 8-10 hours with my second company). Can't you see that my one day pay has taken care of my one week rent issue? Note: the quotation above is for 3 bedroom flat. You can as well get two bedroom flat for between $400-$600 per week depending on your location. If you are single, what you pay is between $200-$250 per week. With that, you can even save more than expected. Just de play. |
AmuDimpka:Hahahahahahaha. I really understand your frustration. Just take it easy with yourself. Life is hard but it becomes harder when you are jealous. You run your life but please, don't detect how others run theirs. We are not accountable to you. I don port oh, I don port oh, I don port to Australia.. chop Nigeria and everything you can lay your hand on. I can as well give you my inherited properties in Nigeria if that will make you happy.. |
AmuDimpka:This guy sef. Let me allow you wallow in your ignorance. Flight tick is the least concern I have Sir. Only working on Sunday alone will secure my to and fro flight ticket to Nigeria. Get sense abeg. |
Mcslize:If you land anywhere in NSW, no worry about how to survive in the next 2-3 months. Someone did it for me and I wouldn't hesitate to do it for another. Wishing you the very best bro |
Mcslize:Nigerians are really doing fine here. Recently a Nigerian born rose up to the office of Audit General of NSW government. We have a lot of Nigerians who own companies here but they all came as nobody. Today, they are big shots.
|
Iamzik:I guess you don't read to understand but to reply. Let me break it down. He said, what he saves in Nigeria after paying for bills and other expenses is $1600 a month. This will yet increase in the nearest months as he is just 3 months old in Australia. By the time he fully settles, he can save(after expenses) as much as 3k a month. Do you understand now? 🤔 |
Bassmetrics:He was not exaggerating. Australia has the purest air in the world. That is one reason why life expectancy of an Australian is 85years and above. They don't die prematurely here except through accident, which a result of drinking and driving. They actually do live long. |
Chidolalar:It depends on how long you work. I pays $600 a week as rent excluding utility because I pay that monthly. My average feeding budget a week for 3 persons is $300. I buy petrol of $80 a week to move around. So, I spend approximately $1000 a week. Having said that, I work for 3 different companies where I can earn between $1500-$2200 a week. So, I can comfortably save between $3500-$4500 a month. My wife get her own earnings too. |
Mcslize:I have been in both Australian and Canada immigration thread since 2017. E don tey 😃 |
Mcslize:Nigerians in Australia are truly helpful I must confess. There is no tribalism here like we see in our home country. Infact, it was a Yoruba who helped me ( Igbo man) and my family to settle down faster. The family housed my wife for 5 months without collecting rent and also fed her for free until I came me. I failed to mention that I am working with one company owned by a Yoruba man. Immediately he saw me in church, he asked if I am willing to work in his organisation. That's all |
Taiwo20:Hahahahahah. I honestly do not have a solution than to refer you to a pages on NL. I got all information I needed to travel here. All it took me was to read. And Yes, my wife migrated after just 6 months we started the process. Having said that, search to 'Migrate to Australia through PR' on this page. All information you need is there. Wishing you the best of luck Sir |
dejavubobo1:Please do |
koreanlord:If your wife is here, you will come in as her dependent. |
Tizu:By immigration law and policy, you cannot convert a tourist visa to work visa or student visa. No employer will employ and no one will house you either. However, nothing is impossible. I met a church member last month who told me he came to Australia on tourist visa but converted to student visa. I didn't ask him how he did it because it wasn't my business. |
koning:Ney. He won't regret it. Go online and search to see if you will see any Nigerian living in Australia complaining that things are not working. You will see video of people living in UK, even Canada or sometimes US. You will never see anyone from Australia complaining. They don't make noise here. Everyone is busy making 💰. No matter what you are doing here, bros, you are OK. Just forget it. Australia is not just a country but a continent. They are way underpopulated. There is something for everyone to do except you are lazy (met one minister son that has been here for 5 year schooling. He doesn't do anything. He parents still send money to him). Their work system is not tasking or draining. You work according to your availability. You control you time and your life here. Let me stop here. |
DataDoc:I failed to add that Australia has the purest air in the world. Almost pollution free. Use your google to verify this.
|
DataDoc:Hahahahahahah. This one got me laughing hard. See, one reason some of us relocated was not just because we are poor or struggling ( travelling to Australia via student route no be joke. For someone to bring out 40-50M to travel shows the person is not doing badly.). We just wants to secure the future of our children. While in Nigeria, I had two plant managers (earning between 2-3M with other benefits) who resigned and moved to both US and Canada. When I asked them why they resigned, both said because of their children. See, the advantage in securing a second passport is too numerous to be counted. I find it hard to say this but I have to. African passports are not respected anywhere. When I got to China on my way to Australia, we had 6 hours layover. A hotel room was given to everyone that holds UK, US, Canada, Australia passports (either white or black). The rest of us either paid from our pockets or hanged somewhere waiting for 6 hours. Make I stop here. Nigeria will be great one day. But we need to be alive to witness it. |
DrAkpamudehe:See wahala. You de your house de condition me how to relate with my wife. Problem no de finish oh. I earn ten thousand naira (#10,000) as a man. Does that make you happy and satisfied? |
ResoluteVenture:I am not immigration lawyer or agent. All the knowledge I used was gotten on this plateform. Check https://www.nairaland.com/3786389/general-australian-student-visa-enquiries. By the time you read the first 5 pages, you will get direction on what to do next. |
Goalnaldo:It is an offence to call someone Sir or Boss or Oga in Australia. You address people by 'hello mate', or you call them my name like, 'Ayo' not 'Mr. Ayo'. The mrntality of oga and boss is not here. Infact, there is no office cleaner or coffee boy in Australia. You clean your office, wash your toilets and make your coffee by yourself. Can I shock you? You don't even have a personal driver in Australia. You buy your car and drive yourself. If you are scared to drive, you call taxi . |
