No sir, but we must start from somewhere, the problem we have been experiencing has been more of home made by legislative trying to please people they are indebted to at the detriment of the poor masses, we have vio and road safety, police and civil defense what is the correlation btw them, duplication of duties, we have agencies all over Nigeria with no tangible differences between them yet government paying heavily year in year out, until we address this issue , corruption will continue to strive, these has nothing to do with creation of jobs.

The problem starts with the recruitment process.
Police officers who are highly educated rarely behave lawlessly. But majority of the lower ranks are secondary school dropouts who joined the force as a means or avenue of survival and to make ends meet. All these coupled with the dangers associated with their profession now makes them to see innocent ppl as targets to make money from .

why elevating them, majority never went to secondary schools, the results used in applying for Npf were borrowed results and forged indigine letters, the day Nigeria police force would join head with exam bodies I.e waec and neco to verify ownership of all staffs results, more than half would be retrenched. I have always said this, the hieghest form of revamp to be carried out in police force should be upgrading the minimum 5 credit to atleast diploma from a recognized government institution, which can be verified with the institution at any time

Do the retired workers have a statement of account issued to them showing how much total was deducted over their working years to show how much they'll be entitled to in retirement.
