As every rotten fruit creates the worms that eat through it, so does a faulty system create it's own agents of destruction. Sowore, Kalu, Naira Marley, who's next.

Nairaland / General / Access Bank Charges N284 For SMS Alert Fee For 1 Month!! by chidozy15(m): 1:07pm On Dec 29, 2019
@myaccessbank charges SMS alert fee for 1 month (24/11 - 23/12) at N284...wtf. How many texts did I get during this time?

Even if you're charging per each text message: 284/4 = 71...are you trying to say I received 71 texts in a month.

This rubbish must end in 2020. https:///X0RFi5OKmL

Thanks so much bro...this is gold. One of the new things I'll be trying this month.

But 20k in 4 years, your account should be bigger than that. Just keep consistency.
Career / Learning New Skills. by chidozy15(m): 10:36am On Oct 15, 2019
Although I spend most of my time writing, designing and thinking up new ideas to help people sell, I've never caught on to the idea of writing or coming up with content for the fun of it.

This was a trait I've always admired in other content creators who routinely churn out amazing content for the fun of it. This got me thinking - do they actually do this for fun or as an opportunity to showcase their skills.

I came to the conclusion that it was both and I think this is a good thing. Not only does it act as an outlet for personal thoughts and opinions that don't usually make it into a client's work, it also gives us the ability to do something, well, 'different'.

It can be difficult learning new skills and behaviors to support an alternative career, especially if you are not seeing the immediate results. This is why I often advise people to do what they're truly passionate about.

But I've come to realize that this isn't always the case. In many cases, your passion and the opportunities you're presented with may differ, reducing the amount of time you have for yourself.

Remember to stay positive when faced with life's challenges. Stay focused.
Politics / Re: Buhari Administration Earned N16.6trn From Oil In Four Years by chidozy15(m): 9:39am On Oct 15, 2019
Who else has noticed that this administration likes comparing it's achievements and losses against Goodluck's.?

When it's negative news it'll be either 'at least we're not as bad as Goodluck' or 'things were better during Goodluck's time'

When it's positive it'll turn to 'Goodluck did not do this' or Goodluck's PDP did that'.

You people should leave him o. He was only a VP going through what Osinbajo is going through now but he still tried. Imagine occupying a seat like the presidency without all the backing that comes with it and still coming out clean.

These people should stop parroting the same thing to make it look like they have emphaty for the masses. Their agenda is all the same.

Business / The Fear Of The Unknown. by chidozy15(m): 5:06pm On Oct 08, 2019
The fear of the unknown can be defined as irrational sensation of fear experienced about people or situations that are perceived as strange or foreign.

This in itself is the primary reason why many projects are left uncompleted and why we are constantly plagued with thoughts about roads not taken. Wishing we kept at something we started way back but dropped along the line.

The ease at which ideas comes never translates into actually legwork. Unfortunately, when most people are faced with the difficult task of implementing those ideas in such a disastrous economy, it can be overwhelming.

Speaking as someone in a crossroads in his career, the certainty that comes with a cushy job is alluring, but I've been freelancing for a few years now and I plan on continuing and maybe building around that.

This is for all those counting the pennies and building out there. More blessings.

Business / Professional Marketer Needed For A Consultation by chidozy15(m): 1:30pm On Aug 25, 2019
Good morning y'all,

Are you an experienced marketer with a proven record for delivering great trackable results?

I'm putting together a proposal and I need some in-depth information on carrying out a marketing campaign both online and offline.

I'll pay N5000 + a bottle of beer for a meeting with you to discuss my idea and an in-depth report which includes timelines, costs, and deliverables. The more detailed the better.

If successful you will be contracted for marketing the product so this is potentially a long-term role.

You can send me a dm and I'll get back to you. Looking forward to hearing from you.

P.s Lagos residents only.

Thank you.
What exactly do you need help with?
Where did you study?
If it's Uniport, please use WES, mine was purely a miracle.
If not, please visit the ICES website and go through the procedure.
Please note that their current processing time is 14 weeks.

Hello Queencyco, did you grad from UNIPORT? if so, I'll like to chat with you about the process. Just paid for Wes so lemme get some advice. Thanks.

You can set up an account with wallets.ng and receive a dollar card. You'd top up the naira/USD equivalent to the card to make payments for WES.

The dollar card is free.

Thanks dear, this seems to be the best tip so far...

The bolded is a no-no...
Do not risk your hard earned money or personal financial detail in a faceless forum.
Approach your bank for help instead.

Obviously I won't foolishly send someone money without confirmation but thanks bro.

Hello house,

Please I need some help. I've been trying to pay for the WES evaluation report for about a month now but it hasn't been going through. Tried all my cards and the others available to me, no luck.

Can anyone suggest an alternative?

I can transfer the full amount to anyone who can make the payment for me.

Thanks in advance.
