According to the information shared in Hausa,there was pandemonium in Gombe state this morning as protesting students of Teachers Training College , the Federal College of Education in Gombe an security forces clash.The students embark on protest because of lack of water in the school.The school has been shut down.I am not very good in Hausa.Our Hausa readers should please explain more.

Bauchi state APC party youth leader,Alhaji Abubakar alongside his friends Umar Gwallaga and Bafada Bashir Abdullahi El - Bash were yesterday involved in a terrible accident when they were rushing to meet up with Aisha Buhari who was in the state to distribute relief materials.A car came from behind and hit them. The Nigerian Police Force has premiered first exclusive police TV series titled “Beyond Your Sight”. The TV Series was conceptualised by IGP Solomon Arase, the Inspector General of Police in furtherance to his policing vision which is woven around bridging the gap between the Police and its public and connecting in the most sociable manner with broad spectrums of Nigerians.



Coming up on June 7, ‘Beyond Your Sight’ documents, serialises and disseminates landmark operational, intelligence, investigative and prosecutorial exploits of the Nigeria Police Force with the aim of showcasing the professional capacity and achievements of the Police over the years. Though the Nigeria Police has had its fair share of institutional challenges, the Force under the leadership of IGP Arase has laid pathways that is engendering the evolution of a new Police Force, a Force that will not only take pride in itself, but one that will sing its song, change its narratives and give social meaning to policing.



The Police TV Series aims at bringing to the fore the concerted efforts of the Nigeria Police Force at preventing and unravelling crime, while at the same time educate, sensitize and enlighten members of the public about their safety and security. It is the expectation of the Force leadership that in the long-term, the TV Series will aid the rebranding process of the Force, enhance the personal security of citizens, and galvanise citizens to their obligations within the national security space of our beloved country.

Thirteen episodes of the Police TV Series makes up the quarterly production have already been produced and to commence the broadcast of the movies on different Television stations across the nation after the premiere. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has deployed additional aircraft to the Niger Delta in support of the military operations code named “OPERATION PULO SHIELD” against militancy, economic sabotage and all forms of criminalities in the South-South region of the Country.

The deployment was necessitated by the recent spate of attacks on the Nation’s oil and gas installations by the new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA). The additional platforms, comprising fighter aircraft, helicopter gunship and surveillance aircraft, are intended to enhance the capability of the NAF to undertake offensive air operations and intelligence gathering in support of the surfaces forces. Since the recent deployment the NAF has increased air operations around critical infrastructure in Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa Ibom States.

These include but not limited to Escravos, Forcados in Delta State; Bonga oil field, Agbami offshore and Brass in Bayelsa; Bony in Rivers; Qua Iboe Terminal in Akwa Ibom State, and Opuekeba in Ondo State.

Meanwhile, the NAF wishes to urge members of the public not to panic at the sight of low level flying aircraft but to go about their legitimate businesses. The NAF also enjoins any member of the public to avail it or other Security Agencies with useful information about the where about or activities of the militant group.

"The lady in the pictures is Charity Aiyedogbon aka Deepdeal Chacha De Hammer on her Facebook page. She lives in Abuja and is separated from her husband David Aiyedogbon with 4 children who lives with their father. Charity has been missing since 9 May 2016 when she supposedly put out a blast at her FaceBook page that she was going on a road trip.

Her cell phones 08188881301 and 09031420216 have been switched off even though we have been able to ascertain from her phone records and obtained that the last originating call from her phone (08188881301) as traced was on the 9th of May, 2016, the no 08027786161 belonging to a Rabi Mohammed. The last received call on her phone for same day was from 08032180798; this has been listed on true caller as Amani Lounge.

A couple of friends went to her apartment; House 26, 5th avenue, gwarimpa, two weeks after no one heard from her and were able to gain access in the company of a close male friend, her landlady and some security personnel. The facts discovered were;
1. Her apartment was unruffled but no apparent packing was done for a trip.

2. What appeared to be a fresh pot of soup which was now bad was on the burner, untouched.

3. The gate man who also hasn't seen her said a gentleman came to install CCTV camera in company of a male friend in her apartment a few days after she went missing but when they tried to reach her, her phones were switched off.

According to a close friend, she was having CCTV installed because she had been receiving threats recently so we fear that she may have been abducted (but this cannot be confirmed as yet).
A report has been duly filed at the NPF station Gwarimpa, 3rd Avenue and to date nothing appears to have been done to ascertain her whereabouts.

We are calling on anyone who may have seen her or spoken with her in the last 3 weeks to come forward with relevant information. We can be reached on this page"

A tragic accident occurred around 10am yesterday in Melong approximately 160km from Douala, Cameroon. A truck reportedly crushed a female biker who was riding her three months old motorbike not far from her home. She died almost immediately it happened. See more photos below...

To the Nigeria military, why are you looking for soft targets? If you are looking for the Avengers you know how to find us. Don’t deceive your President. Information gathered by the Intelligence unit of the Niger Delta Avengers revealed that Oil Marine Services (OMS) whose Chairman and CEO is Capt. Okunbor Idahosa also known, as Capt. Hosa is the company Nigerian Government awarded the Pipeline surveillance contract to spanning from Escravos to Lokoja. The said Capt. Hosa bribed the Brigade Commander Benin (Brig. Gen. Faruk Yahaya) alongside the Officer Commanding Army Gunboat, JTF (Major. M. B. Yahaya) with the sum of two hundred and fifty million naira (250,000,000) in collaboration with one Ayiri Emami to destroy Gbaramatu Kingdom in the guise of looking for the Niger Delta Avengers.


The question is, why the innocent people of Gbaramatu, why the innocent pregnant women, why unleash terror on the aged people of Gbaramatu, Capt. Hosa, Major Yahaya, Ayiri and Brid. Gen Faruk must you waste all these innocent blood just to secure the pipeline surveillance job? Why making the innocent people of Gbaramatu suffer? This act of the Nigerian Army to us is the greatest act of cowardice. This fight we believe is against the Avengers and not the innocent villagers of Gbaramatu Kingdom.


Where is the International Community and the United Nations when all these unspeakable injustice, is served the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom by the very unprofessional Nigerian Military? Are they not aware of the raping of young girls, looting and destruction of properties by the Nigeria military in Gbaranmatu kingdom?


As for you Tompolo, what do you have to say about the horrible treatment meted your people by Nigerian Military, are you still going to call the Niger Delta Avengers criminals, are you still going to take side with the Nigeria Government against your people? What happened to you (Tompolo)? We respect the love you have for your people the Niger Delta. What is really happening to you when the likes of Mr Ayiri, Capt Hosa and Co are unleashing this kind of atrocities on your people, has the wealth you acquire made you soft that you don’t know what to do anymore?


The Nigerian Military cannot intimidate us by harassing innocent Niger Deltans. Gbaramatu is just one kingdom in Delta State. The Niger Delta is made up of seven States, it is therefore very funny to lure us to halt our well-planned line of actions that will shock the whole world by harassing innocent villagers.


To you Capt. Hosa the new pipeline protector; the intelligence unit of the Avengers has your full data, we know where all your assets are located and that most of your businesses are in the Niger Delta. For this single act of injustice against the innocent people of Gbaramatu you, your wife and entire family will suffer.


To Major M.B. Yahaya, we are sure you have not seen real combat before; how did you rose to the rank of a Major this is to show that Nigerian Military is finished if it to depend on people like you. You are only good at harassing innocent women and children in the name of looking for the Niger Delta Avengers. We are not surprised because all Nigerian Military are corrupt. Be assured that we are making this fight personal with you as we shall make your life a living hell. Can anyone tell the difference between Major MB Yahaya, Brig. Gen Faruk Yahaya and Boko Haram? We are asking because we cannot spot any difference.


Is the Nigeria military now a hired gun for the rich? The Amnesty International should take note of these officers who authorized the harassing of the innocent people of Gbaranmatu.

The minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, and his counterpart from the Ministry of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, on Sunday, insisted that the federal government will fulfill all the promises made to Nigerians.
The Ministers, who defended the policies of the Muhammadu Buhari administration, said this while speaking on Channels Television.
"By this time last year, 14 out of 20 local governments in Borno State alone were under the sovereign authority of the Boko Haram insurgents."
"Today, we can say very confidently that the Boko Haram insurgency has been caged. They no longer have the kind of capacity or capability to launch the kind of attacks they use to launch before."
On her part, the Minister of Finance said the current economic crunch would have happened had any other party won the 2015 election.
"One thing we have to understand about the economy is the direction the economy has been travelling in. Consistently, since 2005 the decline accelerated in 2014 when the prices of crude oil took a sudden plunge."
