Equalizer:
Am sure till date, the north are yet to forgive the Igbos for what Kaduna chukwuma Nzengwo did to their great men..
please is Nzeogwu and Igbo man?
Am asking this question because Igbos in South South said they are not Igbos. They claim histories their masters wrote for them. And pass it down to their brainless children.

Major Nzeogwu a man from mid-western Nigeria (Today Delta state in South South of Nigeria) committed offence and Igbos from Eastern Nigeria (today‘s south east) are the ones paying for it.

Aguyi Ironsi is from Imo State (south eastern nigeria) he died because of foo.lish ambition of some soldeirs of the mid western extraction (south south).

Until all the igbos in Nigeria unite as one to fight their enemies things might never work out for all of us in this country.

The foolishness of the whole thing is that the igbos in DELTA, RIVERS & BENUE have been so brainwashed by their yoruba & hausa/fulani masters to believe that they are minority group in Nigeria. While the minority tribes in the north are all officially claiming to be hausa/fulani. They just want make sure that these igbos that live outside south east never come to terms with their really history.

They keep telling them that they are from Bini. It is funny how these people believ these things. Your ancestors are from bini but your dialect, your name & even culture are do not look like that of the binis. Your name & culture sound & look more like the people you claim that are your enemies.

You run into the arm of your enemies & they keep making you see how little you are. You shout haliluya because you are proud minority.

Listen to me; “it is better to beenvied than to be pitied“

Shame on all of you.

I agree.Nigeria was better before the discovery of oil,our economy was looming with our coal, oil palm, rubber, cocoa etc
the richest men in Nigeria are our retired soldiers. Those that served from 1966 to 1999.

These men own half of Nigeria‘s wealth. Many re even richer than Dangote & some of are them heavily invested into Dangote & tele communication now. And all of them are from the same region.

More than half of Nigeria‘s oil well are owned by retired military men of northern extraction.

Why this point? Nigeria became a mono economy because our past northern military heads of state were only interested in building wealth for their unborn children rather than helping Nigeria‘s economy to grow.

Until these men agree NIGERIA will not fully diversify though am thnkful to GOD for the tumbling oil price.

i dont want to go into the arguement of perform or no perform but soon it will dawn on all of us that the underperformance is all a sham & propaganda to return power back to the north.

I say so because one of the things APC told us when they were campaigning is that GEJ has nothing in Agriculture but as it stands now minister of agriculture is being courted by the same APC. I am sure nobody retains a failure & if GEJ‘s ministers & policy really failed as we were told during campaign then i dont see reason for all the meetings with minister agriculture.

I doubt if Adamu Mua‘zu will survive as PDP chairman for the next 365days. But if eventually he does. He will only fight APC/GMB if they fail to fulfil the promise they made to him that made him sell off GEJ/PDP. Northern agenda is more important to him than the success of PDP in poll.

He collabrated with all those that rigged GEJ out. We know what he did and didnt do.

His word does no mean anything in the PDP of today. He will see fire after hand over.

If only many of you can make attempt to use your brain a little, and stop been driven by hate and fables passed down to you by your fathers and mothers, you wont be thinking as you currently do.
let me not join you into bad mouthing game yet. However, life is built on history. Every individual, family & country has a history & it is history that guides us to wherever we are going. I didnt grow up in Nigeria, i grew up in a french country.

The story of Nigeria & Biafran war is what every child that grew up in the early 80s in any french country knew very well. Nigerian government has succeded in supressing the history of Nigeria that is why today HISTORY is no more a subject in our secondary schools.

What happend during the war is known fact to those who are born outside the shores of countries which are under british control or countries that were not colonised by GB.

Before the war the people that were controling Nigeria was Ndi Igbo. From civil service to business world.

As a matter of fact Odumegwu Ojukwu snr (not the soldier) owned half of Lagos whalf. And many properties in Lagos especially in Apapa & Ebute metta.

Igbos & yorubas have started doing banking transactions even before the colonial masters brought oyibo banking system to us.

Be that as it may. Even if they were just 1% of igbos that bank then, does it justify stealing their money & given them just 20pounds? Or does it justify what Saro Wiwa & co did by saying properties owened by core igbos are now abandoned properties?

Thats by the way. Let me give you one bad mouth...

Imo & Abia states are oil producing state, i hope you know that? Remember that Anambra also has oil that is being explioted presently. (though oil price is tumbling down & nobody at the moment is talking about Oil)

Now if IGBOS have only palm oil & are good in importation business.

Dont you know they will create a policy that looks like that of UAE. A country that produces little or nothing but sells everything saleable.

There are many countries in the world that have no oil but they are surviving.

forget story my brother. Those who run away from Nigeria do so cos they are lazy & want to make money in a criminal way easily. Most of them are into drugs & financial crime.

Nigeria is the only country where you do not need so many licences & approval to start a business. Most of us here started with nothing & today we are grateful GOD for the journey so far.

Take a trip to some part of this country and see how men & women who are serious with their life & are not interested in quick drug money are making money through their craft & business.

I have experienced life both and outside to know that life in Nigeria is good.

Most times we speak trash about our school system but anytime a Nigerian appears outside this country, the country we find ourselves gives us job even ahead of their own citizens.

I am not saying that Nigeria is too good. What am saying is that Nigeria is not as bad as most NIGERIANS are making the world to be.

Some paint Nigeria black because they are seeking asylum so that they can eat free food & have more freedom to commit crime in the country where they are.

I believe in NIGERIA but if the country eventually breaks...

Igbo man can never vote for Awolowo because when the north couldnt defeat the Igbos during civil war with weapons Awo introduced blockade & that caused stavation that put the lives of millions of Ndi Igbo at the mercy of kwachioko. When the war was over the same Awo came up with 20pounds round number to every igbo man no matter how much you were worth.

“Since the council, whose members include the 36 State Governors, was not consulted, Mr. Abba’s sack is null and void. It should be rescinded forthwith,” Falana said.

The reason for this is to ecourage people who have interest only in Islamic education to buy into the western one. But those who are willing to study are truly bright. Know that it is only the core Northern states that have such nonchalance towards western education. The Ebiras, Nupes,Ighalas, Idomas,Kajes, Birom, Gwaris etc are all tribes in the North that do not play with book. Why not extend the hand of presidential schorlaship to all those other tribes?
these tribes you mentions are doing great in schools and they also struggle like any other person in Nigeria to get admition, however. Believe it or not; when people talk about backwardness of the north. These people you mentioned never comes to mind because they dont have the privileges some other people in the same north have.

Bros the truth is that i am always tribal or sectional when these kind of issues are raised. What happens in federal civil service cos of federal character & quota system is killing me.

Most Hausa/fulani people that heads us are nothing but...(wont say that here)

They laugh at us even, wondering why we should be working so hard for the promotion that most times doesnt come while they gain promotion doing little.

My dream for all in Nigeria is for us or our children to have equal oppotunity to compete without anything like federal character or quota system coming into play.

Federal character & quota system have killed motivation that drives personal (for n individual) & collective (as a country) growth.

I wish things were different...

i agree with you dear but where i have a problem is in this.

If a pupil from anambra state will have to score at least 137 to gain admition into unity school (fed gov col) & a pubil from zamfara will score 20 to get admition into the same school.
Dont you think that tells us more than we are hearing?

The difference between 137 & 20 is 117... Some of us would want to believe that the north is not backward but what we see in reality affects our believe about the north & attitude towards education.

All kinds of individuals with various sizes of purses and bank accounts will become state governors in Nigeria come May 29. But who is the richest among them? Who’s the most successful both in politics and in the world of business? Naij.com guest contributor has found it out.

These are still moot points. However, according to the available information the crown goes to the man of the moment in Niger state, Abubakar Sani Bello (aka Abu Lolo).

Among all governor-elects only his family has been listed by Forbes magazine among the richest not only in Nigeria, but also in Africa. The Bellos are involved in various kinds of business activities including construction, oil and gas, and communications. Abubakar Bello senior, Abu’s father, is said to own 40% of MTN Nigeria.

Abu Lolo’s in-law is also one of the richest Africans, because his brother Ibrahim is married to Aliko Dangote’s daughter. Aliko Dangote, though having lost $10 billion of his $25-billion, is still Africa’s richest man, according to Forbes.

Abu Lolo himself is married to Dr Amina Abubakar, daughter of Nigeria’s former head of state Abdussalami Abubakar and former first lady Justice Fati Abubakar.

Fati Abubakar, who is the incumbent chief justice of Niger state, is likely to swear her son-in-law in as governor unless she chooses to delegate this responsibility.

These credentials, including the fact that Abu Lolo’s father Col Sani Bello used to be a military governor of Kano state, make Abubakar Sani Bello the richest governor-elect in Nigeria.
