i hate reading comments like this. People who dont understand politics like you just come here and blab besed on sentiment.

Why didnt they give SW senate president or speaker? Didnt south west have APC senators & members of the house of reps? Do not be decieved by all these bruhaha. Even if SE have 8 senators they will still not give it to them.

Let me tell you what just happend in this election, cos i am sure you dont know:
:the north conspired against the yorubas & gave APC/GMB more votes than the SW so that SW wont claim that it is their votes that brought APC to power.
2: the north made sure that APC won almost all the governorship election in the north to make sure that they control governors‘ forum. The way they will control green & red chambers.
3: as it stands sir, SW will revolt soon when they discover that they have just been relegated to the background despite all they “felt“ they did to bring APC to the centre.

Now back on SE: the best office you can give to any region is SGF. If they love Ngige & Rochas they should make one of them SGF. But i think it will go to Amaechi but if the senate president & speakership remains like this, then it might go to Fashola or anybody from SW.

SGF is the next powerful person after the president.

As onye igbo, am happy we didnt vote for APC. Am happy we voted our conscience. Am happy for the first time in a very long time, we spoke with one voice. Am so happy that soon all the northerners in PDP will scamper into APC and the SW will feel maginalized in a party they built, and they will come begging for SE to form another mega opposition party.

Soon APGA/PDP will become one party.

Ndi Igbo kwezuenuooooooooo!!!!!!

Tell them that I said... The north is playing a HUGE fast one on the SW... TRUST ME!

did you just say “genuis?“ lolzzz...

As it still stands right now. Obiano is still completeing projects that Obi started.

Apart from the agriculture thing that FG & Anambra state are doing together, i have not seen the development anything which Obiano hs initiated.

We that live in Anambr knows that Willie is working because he building on his election promises of 3 Cs. Complete, Commission & Commence.

For now he is still so much on the Complete & Commission & we love him for that.

But if Willie does not do away with Victor Umeh, nsogbu ga adikwara ya (wahala go dey for am) very soon in Anambra state.

SA is a country of crime naturaly.

It is not foriegners that rape women.
It is not foreigner that started drug traficing in SA.

The king is just mad because his people are lazy while Somalis & other black nations work hard & get prosperous.

If they are hanging rags on the street, he should alert the relevant authorities to deal with them.

Imagine if Nigerians attack MTN facilities for poor service or destroy DSTV towers for their evil pricing.

He contributed to most of the problems we have in PDP.
dont mind all those northerners that worked together to see that a northerner was returned as the president.

They also worked together to make sure that votes from yoruba land look meaninless by making sure that they gave GMB/APC more votes. They gave APC more sits both in the green & red chamber. All to silent their allies from SW. Soon soon & soon... Things will be done more than ever said.

They know what they are doing. All these reasons & excuses are just to to make us forget what they did on March 28th & April 11th.

Over here in hawai,am beginning to think igbo people are the major tribe in Nigeria.

Nigeria have ensured that the civil war is not part of school curriculum, most Nigerians don't know their history.

Bringing up the igbo issues is becoming sickening, let us forget tribe if truly we are one Nigeria. That should only come up,when one want to travel to his/her homeland for a visit.
are we really a “one Nigeria?“

You want us to forget our different tribes, how possible will that be when what it takes me as an Igbo man to get employed in federal government job is not what it will take an hausa/fulani guy to get the same job.
I have to write & pass all kinds of exam & interview while all my northern brother have to do is to speak hausa & show that he “attempted“ the exams, not that he passed.

Take the just concluded election for instance. The north had a diffrent set of rules both in registration & PVC collection. Down south under age voters are not allowed to register but up north underaged not only registered but they went ahead to vote. Kwankwaso came open to say they used almajeries (children) to vote out GEJ. Imagine if such happend in the south.

Until all NIGERIANS live under the same law, we cant claim to be in one nigeria.

even the NTA and AIT which were used by the desperate one had openly come out to tell the world GMB got a degree from the USA army which is equivalent to masters degree... So tell me what you need ssce for when a masters degree is available. That case is as good as dead and meanwhile no more Money from the desperado to continue funding the case
see another ignorant guy on NL politics section. (no insult intended).

When GMB filled his INEC form he wrote W A E C. So even if he had a degree it is not important here. The case in court is that he didnt fulfil all the requriement in the form he filled which demands that he attach a copy of his W A E C certificate.

So let us wait until the court comes up with its final ruling on the matter.

NTA or AIT can say whatever they want but the law if upheld as it should be should take its due course.

Knowing that GMB does not get involved in corruption am sure he wont bribe the judges but he can plead with NIGERIANS to forgive his mistake the way Clinton pleaded with the Americans during Moniquer Lewenski‘s scandal.

what is the current position of the Indictment proceedings against Kashamu? Isn't it still valid? Or has it been quashed?

Anyway I blame those who voted for him and also blame his opponents who couldn't bring his indictment to limelight, even if it was his brother!
well i am not from Ogun state but if you read the story as i read it, you would have discovered the answer in the write up

Let me say this: if the USA didnt appeal any of the judgement of UK courts in favour of Kashamu. I think his indictment remains a “non“ issue.

2times the USA went to UK to extradite him, 2times they were denied.

But why dont the USA come to Nigeria then or go to Benin Republic? Why go to UK when this man was actually living in Benin Republic?

USA can also lie sha, just to kill a man.

But bros... U know say indicment no mean convicted...?

Odeotito i really dont know where you are driving to with your comment. But let me say this: Nigerians are yet to be attacked in SA. Having said that.

What do you expect Nigerian government to do? Thy should go hand on knees begging Nelson Mandela for a relationship? Too bad. Igbo people have a saying that says “okuko anaghi echezo onye foro ya odudu n‘udu mmiri (fowl does not forget the one the helped plucked its feathers in rainy season)“ it is the helped that should extend his hand to embress & thank the helper, not the other way round.

The SA govenment never ever in any record openly show they recognized Nigeria‘s contribution during their struggle for freedom from slavery (apathied).

Mandela failed to seal the relationship betwen both countries if there were any. Rivalry between Nigeria & SA was not started by Nigeria but by the South Africans who feels that they should be “number one“ in AFRICA in everything.

If Thabo Mbeki fed & ate Nigerian food right inside Nigeria, what did he do to reciprocate what was done for him? If someone helps u get over your problem, do you wait for the person to come begging before you recognise the person? Morality should tell you to first of all go to pay homage to your helper.

SA after coming out of apathied blanked out all African countries that were part of their strugle & went dining with those that held them in bondage for years (the USA & UK). Tell me that African country that SA has ever recognised. Instead they desdain every Black nation.

Nigerians are living in every country you can think of. So it is not government‘s problem or fault.

800,000 Nigerians in SA are far less than what we have living in Cameroun. So that is not any news at all.

Attracting foreign investors in ourland shouldnt be a problem. Our market is big and we are also very good in accormodating others unlike most of our African brothers who see us as enemies. Why? Because we are more hard working & always see gold where they see dirt. It is not our fault.

It is GOD‘ s special favour

the police are doing everything in their power to protect foreign nationals...therefore it is barbaric for any immigrant to proclaim war against the locals because one injury will cause bloodshed everywhere...are those foreigners saying that the police should stop protecting them? The content of your comment clearly shows that indeed foreigners are a threat to this country...
so foreigners should not defend themselves? They should fold their hands & wait for police protection even when some policemen were seen laughing at the burning bodies of some black guys.

It is good. I like your comment. Keep it up okay?

Well no Nigerians has been killed or wounded in what is happening in SA as of today. They are attacking other citezens more for now.

Talking about SA businesses in Nigeria. It is funny because we do not even know who owns those businesses.

First question should be, what are the requiements for any foriegn investor that wants to invest in Nigeria? How much (many) equity do Nigerians have (hold) in these companies.

If for example we go into burning houses or cutting wire of Shoprite or MTN; who loses more? We Nigerins will be the losers.

on the contrary sir, they dont view us like animals but they view us as those who are taking what rightly belong them & leaving them to suffer in penury.

Listen to this: in their schools, we come out best. In the offices we are better. In business we are much more smarter.

Now look this: their girls follow us & wish we marry them at once even when they know that some of us have wives back here in Nigeria.

Nigerians men are romantic, caring and can show love not only in bed but also in a shoping mall (poor man no dey show love for shoping mall) cos we have what it takes to show a woman all round love. Lazy men of SA hate us much for this.
Their parents tell them to their faces that they are useless & lazy children. They tell them to be as smart as nigerians.

Finally: it is not only in SA. All the countries i have been to in Africa, Nigerians are seing as kings with so much wealth. Nigerians are getting the heat of jealosy been generated by the power of laziness that is amongst many nations of Africa.

My brother note this: NIGERIANS ARE WISE, INTELLIGENT, HANDSOME, HARD WORKING, SUCCESSFUL, CARING & ALSO PROUD.

are you saying that FG should wait until after making adiquate arrangement before they go on airlifting them back to Nigeria? Lolzzz

The first thing is to airlift them out of danger zone before talking of what they will do here or what they will not do.

Those of them that have legitmate earning should by now have removed their money in SA banks getting ready to run for their lives.

When they come back all of them have villages where they came from, they should proceed to their villages & home state instead living in one refugee camp.
