This phone call might just be a ploy to expose the dirty tricks being played on Nigerians by the "presidency-office" and the ruling cabal.
Donald Trump doesn't take sh*t (just like he slammed the phone on the Australian prime minister)
Imagine that a politically incorrect Donald Trump discovers what's going on then announces the American people and the whole world that he's discovered that the Nigerian president is.............

PoliticsRe: Are There Nigerians Of Other Races? Say White, Arabs Or Indians? by chijiblaze(m): 4:43am On Feb 12, 2017
laudate:
There are Caucasians who have naturalised after living in Nigeria for many years... ..foreigners who got married to Nigerians, and ended up living in Nigeria

...remember the late Sheila Solarin, the British wife of the late Tai Solarin ... She lived in Nigeria for over 50 years and was finally granted Nigerian citizenship, a few years before she died.
Well it's all in the quote.
Imagine getting Nigeria citizenship after 50 years of residence....just b4 u die!
Those foreign wives are a different case altogether. Most times they retain their pre-marriage citizenship, & their husbands even adopt theirs. U get...marriage 4 visa!
By the way, their numbers are very low. Less than 1% of 1% of the population.
They are not naturally born Caucasian / white Nigerian citizens, which is what the topic is about. Their children will be mixed race (black / mulatto) that doesn't make them Nigerians of a different race.
All Nigerians are black. Any person of another race having Nigerian citizenship most likely has dual citizenship.
PoliticsRe: Are There Nigerians Of Other Races? Say White, Arabs Or Indians? by chijiblaze(m): 6:52pm On Feb 10, 2017
There are some Arab (Lebanese) naturalized Nigerians in Lagos.
Apart from that, no more.
Back those days when the economy was still OK, we used to have a large number of Indians living in Nigeria but not naturalized.
So if you come across a white fellow who tells you that s/he is a Nigerian, don't believe them!

Baaballiyo:
I think you should re-read his response he is not saying they're thesame or all fulani speak Hausa language, and even in Nigeria its only in the Northwest you see Hausa and Fulani joined together.
Did you actually read the subject heading of the topic. "WHY HAUSA LANGUAGE IN BBC VOA...." of all the points raised by @Fulaman198 not even 1 relates to the topic under discussion unless s/he is trying to imply that all those Fulani / Fula/ Pula/ Peul people in those African countries could equally be counted as Hausa people or that they were all Hausa speaking, which is not the case.
This, I'm trying to correct.
CultureRe: Why Hausa Language In Bbc, Voa, Germany Radio, China, France Anybody Know ? by chijiblaze(m): 12:03pm On Jan 20, 2017
Fulaman198:
Well the thing is this, Let me use the 3 countries I know about the most that have a high population of Hausa and Fulani. We'll start off with our beloved Nigeria, then we will go to Niger Republic and then to Cameroon.

In Nigeria, It is true especially in the Northwest that Fulani are losing their native language to Hausa language. However, in the Northeast States like Taraba, Gombe and Adamawa, it's not necessarily the case. Mbororo'en and settled Fulani can both comprehend Fulfulde and Hausa.

Now in Cameroon, even though we are neighbours, things are the opposite. Where Hausa is the lingua Franca of the North of Nigeria, Fulfulde is the lingua Franca for much of Northern Cameroon. Many groups like the Bute(Vute?) can speak and understand Fulfulde very well and other Bantu groups living in Cameroon. There are even Hausa that speak Fulfulde in Cameroon.

In Niger republic, there are two main regional dialects of Fulfulde. The one in the West which is similar to Maasinakoore and Fulfulde spoken in Northern Benin Republic (Dahomey). Then the dialect in the East, spoken by the Mbororo'en (Wodaabe) similar to the Fulfulde spoken in Adamawa and Taraba states. Many groups in Niger republic do use Hausa as it is the most spoken language there, Tuaregs, Fulanis, Zarma, Toubou (Tebu), Beri-Beri, etc. all use Hausa, but Niger is different in the fact that those groups speak their own languages very well.

In other West African countries, Fulfulde/Pulaar is very alive and well. In Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Mauritania, etc. all of those countries have significant Fulani speaking populations and the language is showing absolutely NO SIGNS of dying out in this countries. In fact, there is a Fulani keyboard created by the Fulani Software Engineer from Senegal Malick Sarr.
I hope you understand that there's a big difference between Hausa and Fulani languages and people.
It's only in Nigeria that you have them as one tribe.
The Fula/ Peul in other African countries don't really speak Hausa. And just the way Fulani is joined together with Hausa in Nigeria, in other countries you have the Fulani joined with the Mandike or Songhai people.
So they have no business with the Hausa language.

Biafra does not exist yet so don't put em on the list
You can say so. But in the hypothetical situation that foreign powers invade this country to depose a sit-tight oppressive dictator from any one part of the country, say e.g. Buhari from the far North, do you really think Nigerians from the other ethnic groups / regions will rally to support him or would be less inclined to take advantage of the opportunity to actualize their own self determination aims?

I just wonder if nigeria was to find itself at the receiving end of such an action. Would ECOWAS be so quick as to take such a bold step? If Buhari was to loose power come 2019, would he refuse to relinquish power and stay dogged to be forced out and probed or would he sit tight like other northerners before him had done.
In case it happened to Buhari, America would be involved. UK, EU and not forgetting Biafra will join forces to take him out!

Christianity EtcRe: Ahiara Diocese Bishophric Debacle!! My Perspective by chijiblaze(m): 1:30pm On Jan 17, 2017
So what exactly is the connection between appointment of a Bishop and the governorship of the state?
Is Ahiara diocese lacking ably qualified priests and Monsignori for the job that it would require imposition of someone from outside the diocese?
If comes to that the above condition being true, why not one of the numerous priests of Mbaise origin scattered all over the "south-south", the north, or other west and central African countries, Europe or America which you attested to?
Who is doing this imposition? Pope Francis? Or someone else closer to home?
Is it that the person appointed from outside is the least likely to be corrupted by the office, or "chop-money" as the case may be?
You claim it's an affront to God? Now what do you mean by that?

CultureRe: Please Help Translate To Niger/delta Languages by chijiblaze(m): 12:59pm On Jan 16, 2017
The 1st item on your list is originally an Igbo song, poorly translated into English as you can observe the wrong grammar.

The real song (in Igbo language) goes thus:
Mmadụ niile na-asị Ebube. Ebube Jehovah mara mma....x2

The pronunciation as rendered in English is like:
Ma do nil ey na see ey boo bay. ey boo bay Jehovah ma ram ma... x2

And the correct translation in English is:
Everybody says Glory. The glory of Jehovah is beautiful...x2
CultureRe: We The Efiks Are Not Ibos - Delight Archibong by chijiblaze(m): 12:19pm On Jan 16, 2017
Let's be quite frank.
No Igbo person calls the Efik/ Annang/ Ibibio people "Igbos".
It's clear that they have their separate identity, language and culture than that of the Igbo people.
The point to be made here is that there are some Igbo communities indigenous to Akwa Ibom and Cross River States (though they may be minorities there).
This is different from the case of migrant Igbo settlers living and doing business in those states!
It is also different from the case of Igbo communities in Rivers and Delta States who wish to be regarded henceforth as no longer Igbo.
Igbo is the largest ethnic group in the old eastern region, with territory spanning both the Southeast and the "South-south" regions, but by no means the only group.
PoliticsRe: IGBO DENIAL! A Letter To The South East Igbos by chijiblaze(m): 12:03am On Jan 16, 2017
I've met quite a few of these "delta-Igbo" people who vehemently deny being Igbo.
They do so openly and repeatedly, but when pressed further, they seem reluctant to continue the conversation.
They really like to mix up with Igbo folk and
They'll understand you perfectly well when you address them in Igbo language but would prefer to respond in English or pidgin-English.
Then if you see them as your friends, you wouldn't want to hurt anybody's feeling. But you can't help but wonder, what's there to gain by denying the Igbo identity?

PoliticsRe: 'Buhari Let My People Go': IPOB Supporters Storm Abuja Court Today For Kanu by chijiblaze(m): 1:11pm On Jan 11, 2017
kingkakaone:
A MUST READ BY EVERY RIGHT THINKING IGBO SONS AND DAUGHTERS.

Enugu State. My state. My home. Igboland. My fatherland. By Mcginger Ibeneme.

It was Peter Obi who buried APC in Igboland when he claimed that Fashola deported Igbos. He went on air, sensationalized it. Good job. Igbo youths lapped on it.

Jonathan and PDP were all smiles and Obi was hailed for a job well done. He quickly joined the party on leaving office as was planned out. APGA, the alleged Igbo party was dumped and left to crumble. Ojukwu had died. The new Igbo party was PDP.

The plan was going well. Jonathan would win election and our brothers would continue chopping on our behalf. The Grand plan was for 2017. Oil blocks allocations would expire in 2017 and there would be fresh allocations.

Boys were positioning themselves for the greatest cake. Dasuki released 500M to Jim for igbo elders. They did a perfect job. In churches Buhari was branded antichrist and antichristians whose ambitions were to islamize the east and persecute Christians. Prayer points were raised and brethren fasted against his emergence.

Jonathan was sent by God and only his emergence would save the church. Brethren spoke in tongue and prophesied.

Anyone who ever prophesied anything contrary to Jonathan winning was branded antichrist and anti Igbo. Jonathan was igbo, our brother. Ndi Hausa hate us so much.

Buhari wrote Ohaneze severally to pay them a visit. No one as much as acknowledged his letter not to talk of inviting him. What's the point? Our son is running and he's gonna win anyways. APC was outcast and taboo in the land. At the election the elders dutifully allocated 500,000 votes to Jonathan, maybe at 1000naira per vote. And 15,000 votes to Buhari. This was igbo project remember. By 2017 igbo sons would own oil blocks on our behalf.

All seemed to be going well. Except that men without ears didn't think that God had the final say. Suddenly, like the great titanic, everything went wrong! Our brother didn't win after all! Wow. What next?

They started shouting persecution. Ana emegbu ndi igbo. Can't y'all see his appointment? I told you! We need Biafra! We never really wanted Nigeria. We only managed to take part in the election. We want Biafra! Our brothers in the niger delter will join us and we will get Biafra. Let's just own all the oil blocks at once.

Again things didn't go as expected. Wike first threw the first stone. He warned against any Biafra rubbish. One after the other, our so called brothers, denied us again. They ain't part of any Biafra business.

Wow. I thought we fought for this people? We gave Jonathan our all. We actually threw away igbo ambitions for these people? Wow. This is happening again. They did it in old Biafra. Now again. Na wao. What next?

And buhari is arresting people up and down. Nwobodo has been named. Who next? Uche Ekwunife has been sacked at the court. Na wao. Wahala de o.

Uche, with the endorsement of Peter Obi, that same Peter has finally joined that same APC, the anti Igbo Islamic party. She has to go back to Senate. Tony Nwoye is set to join. But that's not the main gist. Our father, Senator Jim Nwobo, first executive governor of old Anambra state, the godfather of enugu state, founding member and the biggest chieftain of PDP, a member of the yam eating Dasuki committee of eminent Nigerians, yesterday, in company of another former enugu Senator, walked into stakeholders meeting of the APC in Enugu and declared loyalty. He has joined the "Islamic" party. Finally.

Who's the fool here? Igbo youths! Y'all put your businesses on the line. You were ready to go to war in Lagos. You risked your families and livelihood for these men. They lied to you and you believed them. They now use you the way northern elders use their youths. They call you out at will and endanger your lives. They tell you it's because of the Igbo.

Did they do our roads? Nope. Did they provide infrastructure? Did they create more jobs to employ our teeming qualified graduates? Did they improve our schools?

They did nothing. They don't have our interests at heart. It's always all about their pockets.

As old as elder Jim is, he still decamps up and down. Men without ears, men without shame. Yet we defend them. We protect them with our lives. Why brothers, why.

See the western youths calling out almighty Olu Falae. See the northern youths calling out the princely Dasuki. But we? No way! These men are eating on our behalf, we must attack anyone who calls their name.

In fact, we shall adopt any other accused person as ours and defend him no matter how he insulted the igbo in the past. FFK is now our son.

Who done this to us? Are we cursed or are we the cause?
I repeat, the real enemies of Igboland are our political leaders at present. Let us sack the enemies at home. We igbos are blessed with intellectuals, why do we let charlatans lead us?

2019 is around the corner. Now is the time to start. My name is Mcginger Ibeneme, I just wanna bare my mind.

- Mcginger Ibeneme
If you didn't know, MASSOB has been campaigning for Biafra since before 1999.
The IPOB is a rather recent phenomenon.
This campaign is championed by the masses, the grassroots people.
Those selfish politicians do not represent the opinions of the people.
They cannot win an election without rigging.
Most of them don't even live in Igbo land but in Lagos Abuja & America.
Marginalization of Ndiigbo is felt in all spheres of this country.
Politicians only want to protect their interest.

We...the masses...don't need them.
Just like the Arab spring, the Biafran spring is coming soon!

This statement reeks of hate,I am not Igbo but I don't think anyone should kill another for being industrious. He probably needs a better speech writer or what do you thinkhuhhuh?? SELAH
If he said it just the way it's written here then I don't see it as hate speech.
He'll probably do anything to ensure that his people stop the killings. But then, what can he do? When dealing with factors far more powerful than himself (RELIGION).
He's wrong though about the reason for the killings. True, success can fuel envy, greed & hate in others but not all those killed in the riots & crises in northern Nigeria were successful and wealthy.
But they were usually christian, and mainly Igbo... and that's why they killed them!
